Here's an easy way to remember which is which. Minute is longer than hour. The minute hand is longer than the hour hand. edit: from an english perspective I mean.
I realized that when the time finished with 5 it sounds like "ふん” たとえば：２時５５ふん But when it finishes with 0 its sounds like "っぷん” たとえば：２時５０っぷん Does 分 also sounds like "ふん” with other numbers？ たとえば：２時５７ふん？ or will it be ２時５７っぷん？
i liked this, i really need to practice numbers, because I can stumble with numbers in english, so I need all the practice I can get in another language
