Thank you for your thorough review. I had been seeking insights on this bag but found limited information available. Your video provides the perspectives I was eager to learn about.
Hello again, may I suggest adding the following test for evaluating fanny packs in the future? Wear the fanny pack around the waist and assess the ease of opening and closing it using only one hand. I believe this is an essential feature.
I think it’s odd that the pocket where you presumably put your wallet and passport is not lockable like the rest of the pockets . I guess the thought is that it's close enough to your body that it can't be pickpocketed but you never know.
Looking to replace my LS120 which was a 2L. Not because it failed but because it's now contaminated due to an asbestos spill. Loved the LS120 BTW. This is slightly bigger at 3.5L. It looks like the security strap has been updated along with the zipper locks. Would have liked to get an idea of how well it fits over the shoulder as well. I would move my LS120 between waist and shoulder depending on activity. Great Review though. Thank you for sharing.
@@adobo1976 i just pulled up a video of what your bag looked like. Seems very similar. Only difference is size. You will enjoy the extra space. Kinda tough decision though cuz 120 bucks is a expensive way to find out lol
@redesignedlife777 I would agree, but insurance is paying for it. My house had a major asbestos spill, so everything inside is contaminated. They don't make mine anymore. This is the closest match.
Ironically, the back pocket that supposed to be holding your most precious items (passport, wallet, cards etc) is the easiest to open since it has no locking mechanism and zipper is positioned on top without protection !🙄
I liked your video on how you got close ups on all of the different compartments and put stuff in them to give reality on the size and ease of use.

Glad it was helpful!
I've owned this waist pack for over a year. Used it traveling to South America as a sling. Perfect!

ps. if you still have this packsafe fanny pack, could do this test, please?
I can look into it and see. I still have the fanny pack.
Thank you so much for this thorough review. I really wanted to get a better sense of the pack before dropping that kinda money on a fanny pack. 😅
No problem. 120 bucks is expensive for a fanny pack.

Ya you’re right lol. I guess they assume since it’s against your body it’s secure enough.
@@redesignedlife777I was totally sold on this bag until i saw that. it quite an oversight from pacsafe.
Love it…❤
Nice review!
Thank you, very useful!

I only wear it as a fanny pack. I love my adjustments right now and afraid to change it to make it a shoulder strap.
@@redesignedlife777 I have to be able to switch up to the shoulder when I mountain bike or it will either rub the tire or interfere with peddling.

@@adobo1976what bag did you end up buying?
thank you for reviewing it.
No problem. Hope you find the fanny pack or sling you’re looking for
You should test the effectiveness of the RFID slot of these bags.
Can you use this as a sling bag??
Yes it can wrap around like a sling
Do you have the link to buy this bag? Thanks

Yup u right. Lol. Hopefully they change it in the next version
Since it is the pocket closest to your body it does not need to. Needs to be a very skillfull pickpocketer to get stuff out of there.
