That's awesome. I was wondering how to get a booooiiiinng sound in my song.. Now I just need to set up a little stage with little microphones for the frogs to get a real authentic Ribbit sound.
@@pedromesquita5992 oh I see , yes I thought a preamp would be necessary. I’m about to start making one in a wooden box, I’m considering putting a little preamp circuit in the box before the jack out.
Reminds me of the creative geniuses of Concrete Music and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop pre synthesisers who in the 60's era would create these sonic wonders. You are a genius of their kind more than 70 years later. 👏👏👌
What device is allowing the low frequencies to come through and to impedance match? Normally with a piezo contact mic, they sound tinny with diminished low frequencies. Are you using some kind of pre-amp?
Dr Who, Tomorrow's World, Jodrell Bank, The Pink Floyd, Aldermaston, Telstar, Sputnik, Time Tunnel, The Invaders, Outer Limits, The Mysterons, anyone getting that vibe,
This is great dude! I've been building a few of these myself but nothing this rad yet. What did you use for those spindly wires sticking up in the lower left corner?
You really dialed in some amazing effects here, Pedro. Can I ask, is the signal coming out of the box (from the contact mic) going direct to the Mooer Pure Boost or is it first routing through a mixer/interface then through the pedals? Thanks
This is brilliant! The improvement could think of is to be able to feed the sound onto the platform, doze with potentiometers each spring and then pick up the resulting affected audio from an out jack on the platform.
You just re-created the entire soundtrack to Forbidden Planet.
That was the first to use synths and the musicians union wasn't happy

Sensacional Pedro! Topas fazer um som experimental?
very cool
2:40 just hits different
Is the fidget spinner connected with a rod drilled thru the body of it?
Is there a pre amp inside the box or are you able to get enough of a signal to feed the pedals simply from the piezo alone?
No, but one of the pedals, the first of the chain, is a preamp pedal to increase volume. Subtle sounds really need this boost…

I used a noise gate and no preamp, but it is fed thru several pedals into a mixer.
cool noise box man
You could make a banger soundtrack for a horror film with this.
That’s what it’s used for
This is probably how the guitar and electric guitar got started many years ago.

Very kewl Foley generator - great for film- horror or si-if ambience 👍

I don't know
@@redbigapplefloppa302 then why comment?
I would assume some kind of normal pickup, the entire box is made of metal
@@attinsgd2961 Looks like painted wood
Gives a whole new meaning to the term "tuning fork". :-)
Fabulous! The spinner is a great innovation and the knobbly coat hanger thing is delicious.

Behold, the sound FX machine used in those Tom and Jerry cartoons from Czechoslovakia.
С эффектами реверб и дэлэй можно заставить играть и резинку от трусов 😅
Sounds like a fun way to annoy the neighbors 🤣
Very cool and excellent creation. How, where and how many piezos do you have mounted?
Three piezos inside.
I don't know the answer to this
Fantastic! I’m sending a new path to my creative music making (as opposed to using the iPad). Cheers. Lee
Так вот как записывали звуки пещеры из Майнкрафта, старых хоррор фильмов и прочие страшилки.
I need one.
Original Texas chainsaw soundtrack lol
Ça fait plaisir de re écouter de la musique concrète!☺
Some of those sounds remind me of the ones heard at the beginning of V'ger's attack on the Klingons in the score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Yes, very much so.
I don't know this score
or just buy a waterphone.
Any list of recommended parts

Nice little Box AND of course nice Pedals
great...like vintage SCFI movies - do you make all electronic alone at home?

It resonates beautifully!
I’m also making a noise box. Any tips on making the metal resonate better to the piezo pickup?

Awesome noise man!
Surprised you didn't have buttons for sounding "Whut?" and "O-kaaay!" built in. Maybe for rev B.
Excellent videos and very creative.
That's very cool!
3:07 so you’re the one making the “hum”.

@@Suesfine Got it. Is there a preamp involved? Maybe inside the box? And thanks for the reply. I appreciate it
Nice .. you selling these ?
Is it possible to get this to be picked up like a mic if you wanted to use it for recording a track???
Yes, this thing has two contact mics inside.

Question- what is that flat piece at the top left corner? The one you’re rocking that’s attached to the longest spring?!

waste of time
Time is never wasted when your building/creating something. I had fun building it and i love playing it.
The only waste of time is this comment. This is a such a cool creation and it's inspiring me to build one myself.
Gotta do _something_ between being born, which nobody consents to, and dying, which renders it all futile anyway.
