For about the last 5 years FL, Miami, or FL state have been ranked in the top 25 at the start of the season. Then they win their first game or two and a bunch of sports analysts say Florida teams are back, they could make a run, or they could be a CFP contender. Then flash forward to week 3 or 4 and they're out of the rankings or ranked at the very bottom.
Nebraska and Miami-FL have fallen off since the early 2000s 😆 they are twin brothers, well NU has been worse, but Miami-FL not too far behind and will be soon. Not sure why and how Miami-FL hired Cristobal. He was a mediocre Xs and Os HC at Oregon, held the Ducks back on offense, boring football on offense. Great recruiter, yes, but not so great Xs and Os. Oregon has all that talent, but very boring play calling when he was HC there. I live near San Antonio, TX and the UTSA Rodrunners (CUSA, G5 like MTSU) fan base is way more vibrant and Alamadome gets packed. More than Miami. That's crazy.
