Hi Wendy! Thanks so much for joining in! I haven’t recorded the last while but this week I’ll be recording, editing and putting stuff out. It’s been a crazy couple months but totally getting back on track. I love joining in the chat Tuesday nights and meeting many that way also, our knitting community is soooo awesome! Hey Kerry! I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you my dear friend. It’s been a crazy couple weeks. I’ve been busy between wrapping, finishing up shopping, virtual family Christmases, watching Gina’s lives, and all the while finishing up knitting/crocheting Christmas gifts (which you’ll see soon), and test knitting omg I test knit socks, a hat, and an entire sweater in the last 2 weeks on top of all that. Crazy to think about now, lol.
Hope all is well with you. I think I’ll be undecorating today or tomorrow then hopefully by the end of the week I can record a little something as long as my husband works later 1day lol, he was home so early this last month and I don’t have time to record before he gets home. So fingers crossed. Hey maybe I’ll record at night instead but we shall see. Well happy new year and I hope this little letter finds you well. Lots of hugs and love your way, Barb

Oh Gina you’re always welcome! Sorry I am wayyyyyy behind on returning comments, I’ve been super duper busy as you know. I’ll be taking decorations down in the next couple days and finishing up a test knitting sweater (oops I didn’t even tell you I was doing one lol) I started 3 days ago and just have a sleeve to do today to finish it up. I need to cast on and start my mystery shawl knit from cozy up knits too, it started yesterday and I haven’t even picked my yarns out or wound them...yikes! I’m hoping to get to record one day this week too, fingers crossed. Also edit my video of my knitting loft order ;) xo.
Let me know when you’d like to chat too and I’ll totally do that too.
As for the spinning wheel, he found another one that needs some work and a few parts so he bought it. So maybe he’ll work on it this summer because it’s beautiful. I’m not in a rush to use it but I sure am excited to try it, hoping I love to spin too (like I need another hobby haha). Anyways, happy new year my darling friend, love you, miss you, chat soon! Xoxo

There was a while that the bernat chunky got hard to find. Even at spinrite factory. I wonder if that was when they made the switch. I'm not a 6 weight kinda girl unless it is a commission.
Y’a #6 I’m not too much of a fan but I do have a bunch for my chunky moccasins, mermaid tail blankets and such. I bet it was totally during that time!

Hey Verna YES 2022 is totally YOUR knitting year my friend!! If you need links to some great how to videos ask away! 1 skein you can make shorty socks but you’d need to use another skein for heel toes and cuffs, unless you do children’s socks. It’s tough with just 1. Or you could always get another skein and do 1/2 colour on one sock and 1/2 on the other so you’ll end up with both colours on both socks if that makes sense, like the foot one colour and the leg the other maybe?
