I absolutely love this loaf!!! You may not have noticed it but I did. You have such a beautiful array of masquerade masks, medieval dragons and maybe one or two stingrays in these individual bars of soaps. ❤️
@@vibranttravelswithClyde I’ll make some pavlova for Christmas dessert like I usually do. This time I’ll try to remember to take a picture and post it on Instagram.
Good to see you’re staying well Clyde. This is a great soap. I’ve worked out why I love your videos so much-you’re so peaceful! So controlled. If that had been me with the soap thickening like that I’d have been all rush and panic.🤣 you just adapt and make something fabulous. You’ve inspired me to try your dual swirl for my next soap. Stay well and happy. Love from Australia. We’re praying for you guys over there in winter. Our summer is keeping us almost Covid free. I pray you can join us soon. Let’s hope sanity returns to the world in 2021🤗
Sheri! Absolutely. Thanks for your good wishes. You've heard that we're experiencing an awful spike now. I love walking around, but I encounter too many who aren't wearing masks...still! Good thing that I have lots of interests that I can do at home. We've got a friend down there in Australia that we hope to visit one day. We had to cancel several trips because of the pandemic. I wish you the best too. Glad to hear about your status down there.
@@vibranttravelswithClyde stay well Clyde. Hopefully we’ll all be out of this madness before too long and you’ll be able to take your trip to the land downunder. It would be nice to return to pre-Covid certainty, but I think it might take a while. Like you, I’m grateful for the hobbies.🤗
Love this design. Love the idea of having a mixed background rather than one colour really adds extra interest 💕. Glad your parents are staying safe...such worrying times 💕
This is a really beautiful soap, I love seeing that splash of purple inside the white. A very fitting name for this soap. I'm so happy you have spoken to your parents and they are safe and well. In Tasmania, a small Island compared to many we have been Covid virus free for many many months it's worrying hearing news from the rest of the world.
When I was a teacher in a national program, I met some other teachers from Tasmania. Thanks and I'm glad you're staying safe from Covid. Hope it stays that way. Thanks as always.
Thank You! Another great video! My dad who is 81 took my brother and myself when I was a youngster on camping trips. He would point out trees and different plants to us. We would hike. Thank you for sharing with us.
Stunningly femininely gorgeous soaps, bar none. Xquisite, my dear. Yes! and cleanliness iz nxt to godliness so the name angelic wit the blues and shimmer gold on white? Fabulous! just fabulous. Perfect. Tata👍💃 Glad ta hear parents safe. Keep in good touch, mine are both gone and I miss their joy and fun like a phat kid loves cake. Yu feel me? Stay tight ❌⭕❌⭕ Oh and one last thing. YOU LOVE ALL THE COLORS, MR. ARTIST. Even I kno thaT and am far away. Your moods and projected outcomes of your bars command your color choices and because of that yu have great room for much affection towards color...all of dem, yup. Boy, it shows. Thanqu so much. I so enjoy your vids. Feel like I'm standin in yo kitchen workshop area chattin it up, laughin and smilin. Lolz Mad props to yu for such a creation and lil superlative creations all. Yu art, man!🖤👋💯
Again, I love your poetic praise. Hope I'm worthy of all that and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You caught me loving the colors again. Thanks also for the loving thoughts of parents. I guess that's you like a guardian angel on my shoulder as I'm soaping. Thanks for being there.
thank you so much for posting this video. I have learned so much from you. Your color choices and designs inspire me. I was so interested to see how you handled the acceleration with so much calmness. Seems I always panic and this was a great lesson for me to watch and learn. You are a master!
The first cut looked like a peacock, oh boy this is a beautiful soap. I'm so glad to hear your parents are well you haven't spoken about them in awhile.
There's absolutely no worry if you're not a soap maker. If you take precautions, the chance of injury is less probable. Wearing eye protection and gloves, keeping children and pets at a distance, and soaping in a well-ventilated area are some precautions you can take. If you still want to make soap,, but are fearful of lye, you can always work with melt-and-pour soap. All real soap is made with the use of lye and oils. After the soap has undergone saponification, the lye, and oils have transformed into soap. Melt and pour soaps have already gone through the transformation to become soap, so the lye is no longer present.
I love the different shades of blue! Are you going to do more cooking videos?? Do you have any ideas for like holiday stuff, desserts or meal ideas? I was just wondering if you were cooking, what are you planning to make? I’m not a meat eater, but I want to make something special. I’m just checking out what other people’s holiday menu is like.
It will be the usual Thanksgiving fare, except a Spatchcocked chicken instead of the turkey, Mashed sweet potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie for dessert. Wonder what you're going to prepare? Thanks Ashley and early Thanksgiving wishes for you and family.
@@vibranttravelswithClyde So far I’m just planning on all the usuals, exactly what you listed, but I think everyone wants turkey. But mashed sweet potatoes sounds yummy. I think I’m going to make some new dips, like: pumpkin cream cheese, pineapple coconut cranberry cream cheese ball, & mango salsa. I guess a simple pumpkin pie is good enough.
Desperately to make my first batch of soap next week and I am stuck at the last part, The palm oil, i just can't find where to buy my oils and butters and which ones I can be sure are sustainable. If anyone can help steer me in the right direction I'd be so grateful. I just can't use palm oil without seeing dead orangutans
Look for Palm Done Right or RSPO palm. Other non-palm options are lard, tallow, and soy wax (Golden Wax 444 because it's 100% soy - no paraffin, vybar or other additive). I know people can be averse to animal fats in soap, but lard and tallow are almost a perfect match for human skin's fatty acid profile, therefore is extremely skin friendly. It's a very green option because those fats won't sit in the landfill creating greenhouse gases; lye changes the molecular structure of fats - and makes them more biodegradable. Another thing to look for when buying palm oil - is "no-stir" palm or hydrogenated palm. Otherwise, your container of palm has to be completely melted, stirred very well before you can measure it out for soaping. It can cause irregularities in your soap without this, because the fatty acids separate. Brambleberry used to carry RSPO palm. Amazon. Bulk Apothecary (watch for shipping cost!). Good luck! For other questions, try www.soapmakingforum.com....a very calm, friendly helpful group of people - no drama.
