Can't believe it! You're close to Cairns where I live! I've idolised you and your family for many years with respect to your hunting and bush skills. Your old clip on field dressing a deer with a Mercator pocket knife.... I've watched it a hundred times! Thank you! And if you ever need a feed or a place to sleep in Cairns, reach out. 👍🏼👍🏼
Enjoyed your video. Some very nice gold and makes it all worthwhile. I agree with you about filming all the digging, gets boring as well. I like the longer videos, so keep them coming, Natalie🙋🏻♀😎🌺
Watch life finding artifacts,dr gold, jungle gold, all the same guy films them,he films daily for about 5 different channels, people say it's fake but I asked the guy to squash it and he flattened a 1 pound nugget between two stones, painted rocks don't get flattened, just jealous cunts,in the Phillipines I think they are 🆗👽👾🚀
@@EtonbeachTreasures Hi Natalie, yeah we haven't quite made episode two live yet but will be sometime next week and episodes 3 and 4 will be out shortly after. Cheers Steve 😃.
Fantastic video Steve, , That long piece of gold should sell well on line as pendent gold. Do you came across any wire gold?.The 5000 in the right hands is a formidable weapon,it’s well and truly a proven beast. The ground there looks like you could nearly run the 5 in normal Steve for more depth.Hope you keep going giving us these high quality videos. Cheers Greg
Thanks for your comments Greg. I haven't really found any wire gold that I can remember, a few long stringy bits but probably not wire gold as such. Yes the 5000 is a great machine, it's treated me well for the last few years that I've had it. My brother bought a 6000 but to be honest I still prefer the 5. It seems to run quieter than the 6. Cheers 😃.
Great Video Steve, Like your easy approach and commentary, Nice gold nuggets,, not quite easy going as it seems on the video I'm sure, dam humidity and steep terrain ain't no walk in the park. Cheers.
I'm surprised you didn't see more snakes out there in that terrain. Awesome gold too btw. Must be Palmer River going by the purity. Look forward to the next videos.
Hello GrafBoys , that’s funny how you say you always think it will bigger 😂 I’m a silver stacker and something funny I have noticed is that a five once silver bar does not look as big as I thought it would be once I got one 😂 . Cool channel , happy hunting
Ok I’m on board from Alaska wish I could send you some snow to cool things off down there. Enjoy watching your videos and I know from the blisters on your hands that gold don’t come easy. But that don’t bother me because I’m not lazy either.
New to your channel, you just popped up in my feed. So glad. Love yer laid-back vibe. Subscribed straight away. Looking forward to more content, pal. You keep having some good days. Thanx fer sharing.
Wonderful video. I have only found your channel now and really appreciate you and your efforts. You come across so genuine, kind and thoughtful. A pleasure to know I'm sure. I'm very early into detecting and have one question please. At the time stamp of 17:33 you break apart a lump of hard clay with your left hand. The lump only broke in half and then you instantly discarded it by throwing it away. When you were performing your final sweeps to indicate where the signal was strongest, it was a rather broad area due to the restrictions of the hole diameter, meaning that pin pointing was not that great for you. How were you so positive that you had not just thrown away gold? I guess because it becomes intuitive to some large degree when you have experience and are also very focused. A spacially adjusted sense that has been trained. I thought it was foolish at first but then thought, hold on, he simply knows his stuff. All the very best hopes for you and your family. I have subscribed and will be watching all your wonderful series. I live in Bathurst NSW, so Hill End and Sofala are going to get a new dreamer on site haha May God bless and keep you.
Hi Ken, thanks for your lovely comments, very much appreciated 😃. In regards to the breaking clay situation, It probably may appear that I might end up missing the odd piece by throwing it away without checking but I generally always run over the area again afterwards just to make sure. I have at times found the odd bit off to the side that I almost discarded but I usually do pick it up. But it's not to say that I haven't accidentally missed the odd bit, but I think it would be small if I do. Sometimes I have got up to 5 nuggets out of the one hole which is really awesome because each time you get one out there is still another target in the hole 😃. In fact only two days ago I got over half an ounce of nuggets in a spot only about 2 metres square. Including one of 10.5 grams. Really exciting when that happens 😄. All the best with your detecting and I hope you find some good stuff, cheers 👍.
Yep - snakes spiders and ants, that's what I remember from the bit of detecting I did in Oz. There always seemed to be kangaroos everywhere as well though, but I was way further south. Great video, thanks for posting it, looking forward to the next one !
Hi Mel, good choice with the gpx 5000, I've had mine for quite a few years and it's treated me really well in both Queensland and WA. I generally like to go as remote as possible mainly because most of the easily accessible areas have been pretty hammered over the years but it's always difficult finding new spots where you can legally go, be that on public or private land with permission. Anyway I hope your machine treats you as well as mine has, maybe I'll run into you out in the bush sometime 😃. Good luck cheers.
Hey there enjoy watching your videos ive just srtarted prospecting i live in Kalgoorlie an got me self a gpx 5000 just want to know what settings you use cheers
Hi, I can't remember all the settings off hand but a couple of other people asked the same question so I wrote them down for them. I can't remember exactly which episodes the comments were on but if you scroll through to the comments on episodes 1 to 4 of these clips you'll find all of the settings I use listed in response to the same question. Remember they're not necessarily the same settings as other people might use but just what I use and they seem to work. Hope that helps, Cheers and good luck 😃.
You need to get yourself a nugget finder super lightweight 25 inch coil just been released and allready getting the gold on old worked over ground , little bits an up to 3-4 ounce nuggets👍😊

On the front of control box: Search mode - General Soil/timings - Special Coil/Rx - Mono Ground balance - Fixed On the back: Volume limit - 12 Ground type - General Special - Fine gold Main tune - Varies according to day General: Motion - slow RX Gain - 8 Audio - Nrm Audio tone - 50 Stabilizer - 7 Signal - 16 Target volume - 17 Response - Nrm Tracking - Medium Iron reject - Off Cheers 👍.
