- We are delighted to finally be able to share with you a very special video & a world first - detailing & paint protecting a McLaren Speedtail Hypercar!
At a glance, this MSO masterpiece, belonging to a good customer of ours, is a stunning red 250mph V8 hybrid monster, however, upon closer inspection, it is so much more. The customer based his specification on both his MSO High Sport, a car we worked on for him, and also the MSO Velocity 720S. The car features a blend of three different colours for the perfect look, starting with Volcano Red at the front of the car, gradually darkening to an intermediate colour, and finishing with Nerello Red at the rear. Finally, the car is finished off perfectly by both Agrigan Black contours and red-tinted carbon fibre everywhere possible.
The attention to detail doesn’t stop there. The front brake callipers were painted Volcano red, and the rear callipers Nerello Red to match the blend at respective parts of the car. Even the unique wheel covers are finished in red carbon fibre. No stone has been left unturned with this car. The craftmanship from MSO is always second to none and this has been more apparent than ever with the Speedtails we have seen.
With the bar set so high already, there can be no room for error when it comes to our detailing and paint protection work. When the car arrived with us it was treated to a full decontamination in our wash bay. Although it’s a brand new car and looks clean, even the slightest piece of dust or oil can contaminate the paint protection process. Once the car was properly prepared it was moved to one of our detailing bays, where it received our Level 2 Enhancement Detail to remove any swirl marks or light scratches that could have occurred during production or transportation, guaranteeing maximum gloss before protection.
Next, the car was moved to our PPF studios, where our pre-cut gloss paint protection film was masterfully installed with millimetric precision on every painted and exposed carbon fibre section of the car. We even cover areas such as the headlights and DLRs, and the car’s enormous rear diffuser. Our film prevents stone chips, scratches and swirl marks, and is self-healing, keeping the car looking glossy for as long as possible. All of our PPF wraps around leading panel edges, and we double up the film in high impact areas. Treatment like this is an absolute must for a car like this!

This car was cleaner than my car, after i got it cleaned, before they even cleaned it.
😂 I felt that one
Matthew Jalinsky 100%
😂🤣😂
Matthew Jalinsky 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so funny dough
Wut
Can’t wait for Manny Khoshbin to pick up his Hermès McLaren Speedtail
👌
You got it right HAHAHAHA
And you know when he gets it, he will actually drive it
@@leotaul3312 Just down the street and back.
@@gimmejr better than risking the car on accident. His neighbourhood is quite big. Big enough to fit a track.
When I see this car its more art then automobile. Just stunning.
Its a failed attempt at making a succesor to the F1, Basicly the only car to look forward to is the Gordon Murray T50, an actual successor
Well said
GOBIC ROY the T50 looks horrible. Like a kid designed it
It is pure art
@@GTAracingUK bruh no one compared the 2 who asked?? They both are works of art🤦🏽♂️
Now straight back into someones garage never to be seen again
Nope the owner is known for driving his cars
@Kunt that's for the ride back to the garage lol
Lol
Ya, probably you'll see it again 5-10years later at RM auctions with asking price of $10-15M
Not true, the owner will drive it...
I'm actually obsessed with the Speedtail. I love it so much. It's gorgeous.
I like it, but ever since I saw the Murray T.50, I can’t help but feel that this car is somewhat of a poser. I’ve become disillusioned with modern cars that are unnecessarily big and heavy. They just don’t focus on what’s important for a drivers car, but oh well, still a beautiful piece of machinery.
@@blairdrummond5043 Yup T50 and Gordon Murray literally roast the hell out of this. I cannot put it better than you. It sole purpose is milking money. It achieves nothing in automotive engineering perspective like F1 did 30 years ago
@arniebarb123 think this is sinister, look at the black Senna Gtr.
Amarjit Singh sure, but it’s not really innovating upon automotive engineering like the f1 did, all the technology already existed.
@@blairdrummond5043 the speedtail is a luxury hypercar, its not comparable to the f1 or the t50, its a completely different car
Oh man, that's the most beutiful colour I have ever seen!
Thanks for watching
Paint wise this is amazing! Have you seen the color fade wraps done by RDB? Look them up
Can tell this guy is British because he spells color with a u
Yeah and it looks better with the protection!
Randomwhateve I am American but for some reason I spell tyre as tyre and color as colour. It’s quite odd.
One of the best specced cars out there. The color combo fits perfectly to the sleek design of the great looking speedtail. Just awesome 🤩
Didn’t ppf the tyres think of all the stones hitting them
Lol
Did they at least ceramic coat the tires????
There won’t be any stones because it will never be driven
🤣
4:38. Wow. Gloss Carbon fiber with a red tint 😍
Pre-work before PPF and PPF work, really cool cars, music and videos are all crazy!!!!!!
Thanks for watching
I work for Mclaren and I’ve not actually seen a Speedtail yet so you guys are super lucky!.. it’s such a gorgeous looking car though! Wow! You guys smashed it here!
The amount of detail and time taken polishing and cleaning a brand new car is unbelievable! Props to the company and owner. Also the paint job does wonders for this car. It hides its huge and square rear end and makes it sexier and easier on the eye
It's not just a clip.
This is a work of art.
Thank you
We need the green GT2RS re-spray video I’ve been waiting on it
Patience
Did you guys put PPF on the key fob?
Yea and the steering wheel
MSO really surpassed themselves with the transition paint finish on this Speedtail. Would be great to see such a process being completed using Topaz Skin. Possibly the world's best looking Speedtail. Congratulations to the owner on a great choice.
Already was super clean.
Part of the detailing removes any manufacturer defects especially on hand painted cars.
Its was just not about cleaning, it was about protecting it...
The point was to be able to lick the car and kiss it without risk of diseases
I love how no one noticed the Zenvo TSR-S in the background. Never seen it in that color before
Incredible paintwork, incredible job. Thanks for sharing.
Such a cool speck. If I had one of these I would probably go for a McLaren orange a a volcano orange.
Who else knows Topez because of Shmee🙌🏾?
No wonder he uses them so much. Topez does such great work on the cars👌🏾
From some angles I love this car and from others I really don't. From the front at an angle it looks like an updated P1 which is cool.
Agreed, P1 looks great from all angles....this one not so
Agree that the car is stunning but my sweet Thor, you nailed it protecting this beautiful car. Stunning job, as always!

Wow, absolutely love that fade effect paint!
However just looking at the front end and how the bumper and fenders are one giant continuous piece bodywork gives me nightmares in terms of PPF application! Bravo to you guys!
Saad
What a special color, he must have had quite an experience for such a moving pattern.
not a fan of the way the car looks but that paint is something special, you guys really made it shine !
Please keep uploading these kind of videos...always enjoyed them !
Thanks for watching
I love being part of the paint team working on the Speedtails and Elvas
that before and after is crazy, beautiful work guys!!
That spec is fantastic, reminds me of a delicious glass of fine red wine.
Oh my days I can’t wait for mine to come
Ferrari is my favorite supercar manufacture and brand. But I think McLaren certainly deserves more credit than it receives.
Thanks for watching
I don’t understand why they only make v8 though ... v12 are the best
@@fesslerivan603
You don't understand why? It save weight, my friend. That's why. McLaren focuses much on weight-savings. And Koenigsegg does the same too.
Tyran Mathurin What about a 3l v12 that would rev up to 10 000 rpm though ?
v12 are a precious thing that we should preserve at all cost
@Valkyrie 007
Bugatti?! You've gotta have the exotic doors...especially when paying over $1 million. At least Aston doors open at as slight angle. But the upcoming Vanquish and Valkarie will feature real exotic doors. And I like that.
Why did this video convince me that the speedtail looks absolutely amazing?
Because it is.....
It’s ok
Simply brilliant British engineering 👌👌👌
This is actually therapeutic
this spec is something special
Fantastic. What a spec!!!
Thanks for watching
I picture this car with a purple fade instead of the red. That would be so gorgeous. Regardless, this car is stunning
Is that you Stradman... !?!
The car is stunning and the attention to detail throughout the job. No wonder Shmee has his cars PPF'ed by you guys.
The masking tape experience the best used of its life time
Now that’s a piece of art ♥️
Thanks for watching
Now thats how you spec a car 😍 awesome work guys.
Amazing car...another fantastic treatment by Topaz and a very enjoyable video 😎
Thanks for watching
The colour is stunning !
Thanks for watching
You treat this hypercara as your babies, damn ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So satisfying
Thanks for watching
Beautiful car the colours are so vibrant
Fantastic job, congrats to the Topaz Team 👏🏻
Thanks for watching
Absolutely amazing car .
Amazing attention to details too by McLaren
I think it’s cool how the plates on the front wheels don’t move with the wheel when it’s spinning
Amazing, I"ve noticed that Topaz did not take the car appart this time to wrap it, to get the corners under the panels. Maybe to much of a risk on a car like this
Is the best job in the world. Congratulations on everything you do. Greetings from Spain
Its definitely got a unique back end, keep up the gr8 work
It's the MAYBACH of McLaren
As you're doing this, I'm wiping off my phone screen to see it better 🤣
I like how they have a 21 step wash system. I use a 2 step (soap, and rinse)
What a car! Masterpiece and 4 of 106 oh dear
lovely professional job again guys, well done.. a beautiful car also
The Speedtail, the spiritual successor to the F1; And the Gordon Murray T.50 is the F1's direct successor.
CANT WAIT FOR MANNY KHOSHBIN HERMES EDITION MCLAREN SPEEDTAIL
Beautiful color
This was already way brighter than my future!
It is mind boggling
Amazing video guys I'm being snob here but 4k would bring out the detail. Beautiful car love the extended tails
This is the best mclaren ever
Thanks for watching
What. a. spec. Wow!!
I found watching this video to being very therapeutic... Ahhhh
Beauty and the car!
Its clean for sure😀
BEAUTIFUL
How do you even get this kind of money. Like seriously. Dudes living my dream life
That’s a beautiful car
What an incredible car.
Great detail. How long did the whole process take?
Approximately 1 - 1.5 weeks
Beautiful.
Can you discuss factory installed PPF like from Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo vs the PPF you install? What are the pros and cons?
Ours is more specialised, and fitted with greater skill and expertise
Topaz does a much better than any factory ever could
The video is epic, keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching
I just watched a DA polisher do absolutely nothing it was already perfect lol
if possible, could you include more of the decontamination in the videos? Longer clips of the wheel cleaning and washing process.
Thanks to the guys at Topaz for doing such a great job on my McLaren Speedtail!!
Beautiful machine
Good afternoon Topaz team. I’m doing some detailing myself in Texas.
Starting out brand new. I was wondering what your team does to prevent water spots?
I’ve so far invested into inline filters, Microfiber towels for panels and Waffle towels for glass, and I’m considering getting a tent for shade.
Is there any other product, technic, or method I am missing?
Personally, I’d love to know what it is Topaz does.
Water spot removal spray.
I like the no scoop look much better
Enjoy the knife cuts all around the PPF! 👍🏻
We do not cut on the car 👍
Wait these are already out?? 😮
Yes they are 👍
1:45 (21 stage wash process?wat?!)
"Topaz Deatailing - When your car is cleaner than yourself" xD
This thing is stunning.
Thanks for watching
Hope it keeps working..., and doesn’t brake down to much
Not discounting your incredible work and perfection but wouldn't it be easier to remove individual car panels to completely clean and apply your treatment inside and out?
@Topaz Detailing, it would be awesome to have 4k videos ! :)
Saw this car in a DDE video at August Motors
The real test of your PPF will be at the hinge-point on the Speedtail's ailerons after a few thousand deployments.
Are we going to ignore the zenvo st-r in the back at 00:15 ?
Amazing work on this Mclaren , very reliable work,
How did you protect the Speedtail logo sign ?
are you using Meg Super Degreaser on the door shuts and apertures?? if so, what dilution? I'm very interested to know...just what surfaces are safe to use both Megs SD and APC? thank you much. I see the various spray bottles, and I'd love to learn what Megs products you are using, and for what applications. And lastly, what is you pad/polish choice in your 2step?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but why the paint correction if it is from factory?
I always wonder why car manufacturers don't just offer PPF as an option so that as panels are made, they are "PPF'ed" prior to being installed on the frame of the car?
My dream car 😍👌
1:31. What car is that to your left? It has a giant wing
1 or 2 SEATS?
