Can I just say, I think that Huda Beauty being based in the Middle East, probably creates and markets to the Middle East very heavily. Being Arab myself and having family there, they LOVE extremely scented things over there. It is extremely important to them that things smell good, for whatever reason. And so I think it's probably way more expensive for her to make 2 different formulas, one that is geared towards her Arab audience there, and then her Western audience. I don't know if other cultures also like scented products like that, BUT I have an inkling that's why her products are so scented? Just my two sense as an American born Arab haha
yessss! that’s such a good point. it’s so americentric to assume that all products are marketed towards them, and only them. maybe different cultures really enjoy scented products

When I first saw the mitchell pallets, I thought it was urban decay and that they lost their minds. That logo upside down literally looks like Urban Decay.
Beauty bakerie could have made those liners the old fashioned candy sticks (basically straight candy canes that are sold at old fashioned candy/soda shoppes). They come in a billion flavors, so they could have made it a swirl/stripe on a normal lip liner pencil in colors that match the lip liner shade. I’m guessing the price to make the component can’t be more than the cost of the sugar rock candy cap molds. Edit: and the names could be like rootbeer, butterscotch, strawberry, plum, etc. the options are endless!

Omg yes!! That Lancome collection is LITERALLY just two Smashbox collections mashed together - their Hoodwitch collection & their Vlada Petal Metal collection. Such a blatant ripoff, it's insane. Especially from a high-end brand like Lancome! Usually ripoffs happen down the food chain, not up!
This Lancome highlighter is actually the only Christmas release I am interested in. Although I agree, the 'crystal' packaging looks like Smashbox / UD packaging from recent collections, but I suppose this is just a novelty that has been picked up. However, it is important to note that a rose has been Lancome's symbol for almost 100 years, so I wouldn't blame them for using it for their limited edition highlighters.
@@MaresApple I was thinking that about the rose being Lancôme’s symbol since time immemorial, well before Smashbox or Urban Decay existed. The younger audience may not be familiar with that though.
I wish that instead of buying those compacts from a collab with Estée Lauder, a huge mega-conglomerate company, and Disney, a bigger, more mega-conglomerate company, people would buy from an eco-friendly recyclable brand like Kjaer Weis, you’re basically getting the same thing but without supporting two *huge* brands that a) don’t need the money and b) are ruining the world. Another UA-camr I like was just saying on her Instagram story that she has the feeling that ND is releasing a bit too much recently and that she's a little turned off by that. She will stick with the other palettes she owns and play more with them and I totally understand that. Natasha Denona is such an expensive brand. It should be treated as something special to treat yourself with such a luxurious product. Actually most people have to save for a long while if they really want to buy one of her palettes.
I feel like maybe she’s coming out with tons of new releases to rebrand with more “affordable” products since all her new palettes are $65 instead of $129 but I agree that it’s gettin to the point where I don’t care about any of the new products
Hi Hannah! Just a bit of insight into the Estée Lauder x Disney powder and perfume compacts. Estée Lauder makes these collectable solids and compacts every year with different themes and it’s often collectors who buy them each year (atleast in the country I live). Estee Lauder release expensive collectable powder compacts every year. I am so happy I have it as the next time they did zodiacs they were very pared back. I don't know about the Disney ones though. Normally I dream of having the money to buy the yearly Estee Lauder compact but not so much this year.

The Rare Beauty Confident Energy palette is stunning, I'm in love with the color story. A Talktorial Tuesday would be amazing, especially since it's the more unusual on of the two palettes. The other one's gorgeous as well, so if you feel like using both, it would be even better.

I like the scattered randomness of the Mitchell palettes! I think its inspiring
hannah your eyebrows look so lovely here! also i love your yass or pass videos because they're much more balanced than an overly negative antihaul.
I agree 100% on the Lancôme launch. It looks like they combined the smashbox crystallized packaging with the vlada packaging and thought nobody would notice.
Omg these are my favorite videos!!!!! I literally
have been waiting!!!!! 😩😩😩😩Just so u know, I’ll be saving it for tonight once I put my rugrats to bed, then it’s mamas time ♥️♥️♥️
Found your channel only a couple of weeks ago, bingewatched your videos and now I'm looking forward to every single one of your uploads!!💖
Instant like and appreciation for the Etsy idea! I saw the Disney compacts and new my 6-year-old niece would love it. I didn’t see the price!
THANK YOU for breaking down the triochrome palette like you did because I was almost talked into it and you reeled me back! Phew
I've been on a Smokey Glow binge these past week. I can't get enough of your content 💜 and I'm so excited to watch this after a long day 💜 Thank you for your hard work 💜
My dad used to work for Estée Lauder and every year he would get us one of those powder compacts. We don’t use the powder but we LOVE to collect them. They have put out some of the most beautiful compacts I’ve ever seen. I’ll definitely get one or two of the Disney ones just so I can collect them.
Never get tired of your honesty and delivery 👏🏼!
Omg yes!! Please do a review on the Rare Beauty Palettes! I’ve been so excited to see what they are like and I trust your opinions on eyeshadows (especially shimmers)!
I would love to see a review on the rare beauty palettes. I live for your videos and your absolute real-ness.
I totally agree with the idea that the rare beauty palettes should have been quads! I do however, think that rare beauty should get the prize for most cohesive launch ever. I like it. I don’t want any of the other stuff, lol. I did get the black moon urban myth as a gift from the hubs and I’m super excited to start wearing it.
Would love to see a Talktorial Tuesday on the Rare Beauty palettes! They look pretty and I’d love to see them in action because of covid restrictions on in-store stuff
The rose is Lancôme’s rose. I guessed them when I saw it🤷♀️
The solmane palette by odens eye has a lilac and a mustard! I bought it after watching ur talktorial and i’ve been loving the looks i make!!
The Rare Beauty Confident Energy palette is stunning, I'm in love with the color story. A Talktorial Tuesday would be amazing, especially since it's the more unusual on of the two palettes. The other one's gorgeous as well, so if you feel like using both, it would be even better.
Those Rare Beauty palettes remind of those too faced tuti fruti palettes that came out a few years ago..they were a pineapple and some kind of berry I think? Except those had mattes. Anyway just caught my attention and wanted to share.
Also that Lancome collection...I could have sworn it was smashbox I was shooketh to find out it was anything but.
I agree with you on the Made by Mitchell palettes. The packaging does not look good to me in the slightest. All I see is chaos
I love the Rare Beauty palettes!!! I have Confident Energy, I've been doing a rainbow shimmer eye all week. I feel like Rare Beauty comes out with something, and everyone's like okay sure, and then everyone ends up loving the product
Girl you should try the Elf bite size quads!! I know you prefer high end shadows but they’re only $3 and the shimmers are incredible and so beautifully foiled. Very functional and amazing palettes for every day. Pumpkin Pie is my current fav, it’s so perfect for fall
omfg girl when I say that my jaw dropped when you said the Disney compacts were a couple of hundred dollars
I’m really happy Beaut Bean’s collab went so well! Tbh, I was pretty surprised by the interest, I completely missed out on the chance to get it, but couldn’t be better for her and the brand.
i'd love a review on those Rare Beauty palettes, that green one is so lovely~
Please do a review of the Huda Foundation and Rare Eyeshadow, please! The eyeshadow is interesting, shimmers and that packaging is so personally tempting.
