Completely agree. Anyone watching Trevor today knows he could absolutely still pitch at a high level in the majors... but why?? He's made money enough to be comfortable, and he just seems so much happier playing abroad. PAPER CLIP! I've had to burst blood blisters under nails, including my own, many times in my baseball career and a simple paper clip is the way. It's thick enough it won't bend when you apply pressure, and because the end is flat, once it gets thru the nail, it won't go further into your finger. Best part is that there's no nerves in the nail or the blood blister, so as long as you stop as soon as you see blood, there's zero pain.

Any times Ive had to do it the relief is almost instant, especially if theres a lot of swelling, like you feel throbing or constant pain, feels so good to get rid of the pressure. Ive had to re-pierce a few times too, itll only drain out of a spot for a day, your nail grows and/or a scab forms, so i just move a little and pierce a new hole.

I played baseball as a kid, but obviously never applied any analytical effort to it other than it was just fun. Anyway, if these younger pitchers aren’t listening to you and making a clinic out of it, they are crazy. I don’t know if other pitchers think and analyze on the level you do, but I gotta say it is fun to watch, every week, you apply the same principles to sports mechanics and competitive mentality, that I apply to large scale projects and management of resources to get large scale projects and design efforts completely unrelated to sports or baseball. That team did not only get a Cy young pitcher, but a resource to bolster the entire pitching staff, and as a result, the win/loss record reflects that.
You deserve to be in MLB, full stop!!!!!!!!

It could be that he's learned a lot and matured but the league is leaning on how he behaved as a younger player. I can't imagine anyone seeing these videos and thinking he would be a negative influence

I love how Trevor gives everyone advice when they ask for it. Or pointers on their pitches. Instead of having the mentality that he doesn’t want to give away his secrets and potentially have someone take all his stuff and do it even better. He wants everyone to the best they can be.

Awesome content. I enjoy you letting the fans have an inside look at a day in he life of a starting pitcher and all of the preparation and thought process that goes into it. It's not an easy job and those who do it certainly earn their keep. You got a raw deal with MLB. Hopefully one day you will be back. Good luck and keep doing what you are doing as well as posting awesome content. Much Appreciated here. #BauerOutage

Anyone answered the "how did the YMCA song come about" question yet?
"Victor Willis, lead singer and lyricist, recalls that while in the studio, producer Jacques Morali asked him, "What exactly is the YMCA?" After Willis explained it to him, he saw the expression on Morali's face and said, "Don't tell me, Jacques, you want to write a song about it?" and they quickly wrote the track for the album Cruisin'.[12] Upon the song's release, the YMCA threatened to sue the band over trademark infringement, but ultimately settled with the composers out of court, later expressing pride regarding the song's purpose as a tribute to the organization.[13]" (Per Wikipedia)

I love how Trevor says the team won’t get many hits off him, and some of the team mates think they will, yet neither get upset at the other. They know they both have to be confident in their roles. They all have to go up to the plate or the mound with the confidence that they can hit or can pitch to accomplish a job. It’s not arrogance, it’s about completing a task and you have to know you can do that. All the hitters should feel that they can get a hit, just as Trevor should feel he can strike them out.

I understand what your saying about the autographs, I have a good friend that plays as a pitcher in the MLB (2xworld series champ) and he was telling me that's why he loves our small town, when he lives in ----- it's hard for him to go to the store or do everyday activities do to fans wanting autographs, but when he is here in our town he is just him and he doesn't really have the issue, wich is why he has a house here for the off-season. His quote is this, fans are the reason we are able to make the money we do, and fans are what makes the sport special especially the kids who are the future of the sport and while I love the fans I also love my space. As always great content
