this car has always soundsd a little weird. Not bad, just slightly familiar, but different. When i still had the fa20 in it with the JDL UEL header and perrin catback, my detailer said it sounded like a v8. Now when people hear it, they have no idea its swapped (when im just putting around) but when it switches over to VTEC they know something is up. I kinda dig the stealth aspect of it to be honest, even around car guys most people have no idea its swapped until I pop the hood so its always a fun reaction with someone whos never seen it before.
@@Slowfoo It's a great option for this car if you lose the FA20. I'm not like other people and I really like the FA20, and if my engine ever went, I'd just replace it with the same stock engine.
Its only been on the scale at the drag strip so far. It was over 2700 on that scale but I was in it and I'm not a small guy. I added like 260 alone, and then there were other things in the car also.
I think it's surprising how similar it sounds to my 86 with the stock FA20 and a Berk dual muffler delete.

Have you weighed it since the swap, I’m guessing k24 much lighter than the fa20.
Per KPower, the swap alone drops around 140lb!
