However, due to their manufacturing being a result of new-age material processing, whatever degradation they have undergone has been minimal, and in wartime would've been considered easily repairable. I’m almost done reading Stephen King’s “The Stand” (uncut version, 1,153 pages), and this scene is how I imagine some of the places in the book. I love the scenery, it tells many stories. I’m enjoying reading everyone’s ideas about it.
And I as well. There are quite a few talented Science Fiction Style writers in this comment section. They make this scene even more mysterious (if that's even possible.)
Just looked up Stålenhag, and I’ve immediately fallen in love with his work. Very reminiscent of a Polish artist named Zdzisław Beksinski, evocative of the feeling of walking through the ruins of a civilization you never knew, looking at machines you didn’t know the function of. A mix of curiosity, wistful nostalgia, and dread that’s kind of hard to put into words.
As you walk in from the rainy, cold weather you are briefly warmed by a fire that is inside of a barrel next to the door. You glance around witnessing people work their lives away, staying warm from the foundry’s furnaces. You approach the desk to ask for directions, only to find out that whoever enters the building will never leave…you join the brotherhood of workers and begin laboring.
I've been falling asleep to this, ever since someone I loved left me recently. It feels like nowhere to go. Feels like I don't have a purpose anymore. Except to just imagine working mindlessly in this factory till I am absorbed by it and experience a quiet death, fading away into nothing. This place reminds me of real life factories opening in China.

Shining through the fog, a single red light fixture illuminates the entrance of a structure so massive that it's backside is hidden by the mists. At first glance, one would reasonably presume this complex long abandoned. It's windows missing, rust stains racing down the cracked concrete walls, it clearly shows a building well worn yet now forgotten. Upon approaching the building, a cacophony of sounds becomes apparent. Workers grunting with effort, metal striking metal, creaking beams of steel bent under the weight of machinery. By all means this should not be possible, the building shows signs of clear neglect, no other light besides the entrance one illuminating it. Taking a step back and looking around, a slow uneasiness creeps in. Where are all the plants and animals? What should have been an overgrown mountain relic, surrounded by woods thick enough to blot out the sun, is instead surrounded by sheer rock faces and dust. How did this not occur to you before? Was it curiosity and awe blinding you? Or was something else, something unnatural, beckoning you closer? You could not care, and it did not matter. After all, what other choice would one have when faced with a structure so bizarre than to explore it? Whether curiosity or beast was calling, how could one ignore this call? Approaching the front door, stood beneath the red light, you grab hold of the rusted door handle and press down. The factory beckons all who wander. it did not build itself.
A fantastic intro to your next Sci-Fi novel. I'm going to buy it a soon as the first edition is printed. I want hard copy. None of those e-books for me. I want real Ink on Paper. Which Publishing house are you signed with?
Amidst this beautiful dreary landscape lies a place that no human can explain. An industrial complex that seems to produce nothing. To require nothing. That needs no one. The only thing… and I speak completely of what I’ve been told myself… anyone who went into inspecting it, never came back.
Why do we like such soundscapes and the whole gloomy setting? Because under the thin surface of harmony, peace and optimism, darkness lurks ready to erupt at any time. We just cant see it but it's there. That doesnt it cant be defeated. It can, by light. But we need to be aware and understand.
Very creative and atmospheric some great composition and producing for writing ambience and even what I think could be used in this genre of film & TV. Aswell as games, this track would be so good in a video game

Entry Log 31/12/2199 Finally my team and I found the factory, our calculations were correct. The dimensional shift happens every 87 years. And to our understanding the factory will be here for the next 7 days before the mist engulfs it into another reality. Now every second matters... Humanity is belessed with this coincidental opportunity to save itself from the new horror that has emerged, now that the factory is here. We are just in time. Had the horrors came 87 years ago humanity would have been wiped because of the limitation of our science back then. I should not waste my time stating the obvious. We have a very precise task at hand to do in the factory, all preprations are set and made. WE CAN NOT FAIL THIS. Failure is not an option. Hope we dont need these big guns in there. - Dr. Ernest Bekkens
This eleviating dark thoughts experienced manner of a deep and thoughtful emotions surely can be enough clever musical art for creative and inspirienced working. Thanks for inspiration. "John, red light." "It means the devil's inside sir." Sargent Banner's icy hands cocks his pistol, his breath mingling with the fog. He looks at Private Miller. "Ready?." Please continue the story writers...
Miller couldn't help a hot and icy shiver down his spine, as he gazed at the oppressing grey granite building that looked upon them through narrow windows, as an ancient and evil giant. "Yeah, ready" Miller said, trying to brush that uneasy eerie shiver off with a smile.
A giant building emerged from the fog. On the surface it looks abandoned, and quite a while ago. I wanted to take a closer look, but something stopped me... something... That feeling of being watched by someone's eyes. Whose are they and who are they?... Apparently, for them I am the one who disturbed the peace...
It's cold out as the light is fading, made worse by the oppressive weight of the fog that obscures your vision. The gentle but persistent rain soaks the cold down into your bones. You tread wearily on a soaking wet path toward the grey, imposing brutalist structure ahead of you, its hue making it barely perceptible against the thick fog. As more of it is brought into relief, it gives every indication that it is abandoned. Windows set in the implacable concrete, ordered into neat rows and columns, give the impression it was - at least in part - some kind of living area. All lightless, all black. The exterior walls show signs of extensive disrepair and neglect. All of it tells you that nobody has inhabited this place in a long, long time. All except for what may, at one point, have been a loading bay or garage, where a baleful red glow punctuates the endless grey. In any other case, a sign of life may have brought a small comfort. This time, though, nothing but dread churns in your gut.
This would make such an awesome safe room theme in a horror game walking into your safe room and hearing this start playing knowing your safe and nothing outside can get in and harm you and that for a brief moment you can stop and catch your breath and relax
This composition is dominated by textures I created from various melodic sequences. In combination with the soundscape they create, in my opinion, a particularly gloomy atmosphere.

Wonderful music! Absolutely wonderful! A World of Quiet who never ends! Thank you a lot for your existence Eternal Dystopia Music!🥰🥰🥰🥰🌺🌺🌺🌺❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
[looking at the image and thinking:] "man, that is bleak. i love it." awesome, thanks for sharing!
Amidst this beautiful dreary landscape lies a place that no human can explain. An industrial complex that seems to produce nothing. To require nothing. That needs no one. The only thing… and I speak completely of what I’ve been told myself… anyone who went into inspecting it, never came back.
Perfect for Reading Ligotti, Machen, Lovecraft... Incredible dark ambience as always, thank you!
"I'm Tom Bodett for Motel 6, and we'll leave the light on for you."
Spit my coffee on this one. 😂
Why do we like such soundscapes and the whole gloomy setting? Because under the thin surface of harmony, peace and optimism, darkness lurks ready to erupt at any time. We just cant see it but it's there. That doesnt it cant be defeated. It can, by light. But we need to be aware and understand.
Man your videos make me want to replay the dying light games
tranquil and atmospheric! Much praise and applause 👏
Well done, as always. A hint of interior lighting would be nice, but that's a mere quibble.
absolute favourite set, thank you so much for this masterpiece
Атмосфера на высшем уровне! Продолжай в том же духе! 👍
Very creative and atmospheric some great composition and producing for writing ambience and even what I think could be used in this genre of film & TV. Aswell as games, this track would be so good in a video game
Thanks!
"from what ive heard, place has been there ever since the uprising, way before that, even. im surprised its still operational! we sent josh in there, havent seen him since. i wouldnt go in there if i were you."
Reminds me of the factory I worked at for 17 years.
Walter,
What did you make in that factory?
@@micahhurst8986; Twas a CNC job shop.
Great. I'm the first one to work. Again.
But look, how nice is this graphite!;) love all you..

Finally my team and I found the factory, our calculations were correct.

This is where I wanna live forever
This eleviating dark thoughts experienced manner of a deep and thoughtful emotions surely can be enough clever musical art for creative and inspirienced working. Thanks for inspiration. I worked for my drawings, as a factory. Slogan: Damned be those, who stealthy on someone's phrases. I'm not inclined to delete my comments at all.
this kind of music allows me to leave at peace.
Very sad and emotional cosmic music!
I absoluetly Love this ambience sad, alone, lost just like me
I love how your videos create an eerie dystopian world out of all these mysterious places. So cool.
Urban explorers walking up to an abandoned Biosafety Level-4 Laboratory. In a few hours they will wish they never entered.
"John, red light."
"It means the devil's inside sir."
Sargent Banner's icy hands cocks his pistol, his breath mingling with the fog. He looks at Private Miller.
"Ready?."
Please continue the story writers...
Miller couldn't help a hot and icy shiver down his spine, as he gazed at the oppressing grey granite building that looked upon them through narrow windows, as an ancient and evil giant. "Yeah, ready" Miller said, trying to brush that uneasy eerie shiver off with a smile.
Damn, this reminds me of Fallout Tactics game music, I love that game so much, and it's atmosphere with it's music too. This one is brilliant!
This looks like somewhere in Doncaster, England during the summer.
This channel is god tier
A special atmosphere 😉 , Thanks 🌌
That could turn into a nice Creepy-pasta.
Thanks for the little prologue.
Exceptional work!
absolutely amazing
Thank you so much💙
Just had a nice nap to this, thanks alot 😊
I like it, continue😌
Admition is free on one condition.... You never leave. Perfect music and the balance sounds👍🏿💯Good effort 🙏😊❤️🇬🇷
Brilliant ! Thank you!!
Incredibly brilliant !
too good
This is spooky joyful.
Thank you for this very beautiful artwork.
Disturbingly calm. Like it's time to lower all resistance to reality. Burdens dropped; freedom from worry. Nothing left to prove...
This would make such an awesome safe room theme in a horror game walking into your safe room and hearing this start playing knowing your safe and nothing outside can get in and harm you and that for a brief moment you can stop and catch your breath and relax
I love the bit at 42:27. So good.
Really like this one!
that's just incredible!
Have subbed!
