Used to live in Brockville back in the late '90s. Everything I videotaped back then is gone; the MLW 6-axle Centuries, VIA LRC locomotives, lease units - even the track signals are different. A-a-and then I saw the GP9 chop nose. Those things will be around forever.
I love seeing stuff from Brockville! A nice horn duel at 9:50! The 532 train put those 3 boxcars into the warehouse. They will get loaded with some sort of wood product and then they'll go into the US. So many people stick to the VIA platform and it's disheartening. Not only does the light suck during the day, but you don't get to see many other vantage points. That being said, Brockville is tough to get good shots on public property, especially during the day. Try wandering around and doing different angles. The overpass is a great spot and offers a great vantage point. The parking lot by the north entrance to the tunnel is a great spot too, you just need to get high enough to get over the fence. I hope to see more from Brockville!
