I still own one now, 33 years old, 100,000 miles. I've got various models by Minichamps, norev, solido, corgi but not seen this casting before. Nicely restored.
Really nice pain choice and the wheels do make it look more modern .Nice detailing ,a real trans formation for what you started with.........................
Another very well done restoration/customization!!... Looks like she's ready to take on the next windy country road!!.. EXCELLENT choice of wheels for this as well!!... I wish i had the talent and patience to do things like this..
The transformation was night and day, great work again Danny. I don’t know if it’s just me but it looked like the roof is caved in and that’s why the pillars stick out and the glass doesn’t fit right.
Nice custom but i think the rooftop is bend inwards to the front. It should be nearly horizontal. Th A-pillers also bend outwards to the top. Should be more inward to push the roof up.. But realy finfe work the result looks beautiful.
And while I personally would have repainted back in the green again myself 🤔, another superb restoration, love the choice of wheel swap , and fantastic detailing as always 👌, keep up the good work 😁 . . .
the yellow looks legit as well as the wheels. :) looks like the casting used to have opening doors for a while... bummer they're gone. hey, has anyone else the impression that the rear bumpers give two thumbs up? :D
Love it Danny! Almost purchased one of these back in the early '90's, bat sadly it came with the "factory" rust package in the boot floor behind the engine. Honestly, I think these were already rusting before they even left Italy!
This is the kind of car that will always leave a smile on my face whenever I see one in real life. I used to have a toy Fiat X1/9. I can not recall who made it (but I suspect a Corgi Juniors), but I do know it was copper colored. A color that suits this vehicle well.
Great job Danny. My late cousin had this car and I was very close to the yellow colour. Watching this video has brought back lots of happy memories of my cousin and the times I was in the car👍
The car looks nice! And good idea to replace the wheel suspension because I hate it when that happens on a toy car, I'd never owned a playart or the Car itself but I do remember it as one of Fiat's nicest sport cars.
The roofline still looks a little squished, but otherwise it is a fantastic repair/restoration. I loved the Fiat X/19's growing up and always wanted to own one. I believe I had one of these as well in a bright lime green.
Danny, another truly amazing, magnificent, wonderful restoration of such an iconic & cute little car!! You’re truly a master restoration artist, my friend!! I so appreciate & admire you for your attention to detail, for rescuing these beautiful little cars, & making them better than new again!! I enjoy coming to your channel & seeing all your cool videos!! The deepest respect & admiration, my friend!!
So good looking little Fiat there, beautiful colour and wheels match very well. 😎 You don't see Playarts too often, i think they have very nice castings, but unfortunately they are so hard to find. I have find two, Zetor tractor (Corgi Juniors copy) and Lamborghini Miura.
My first car was a FIAT X1/9, bought on a dark wet night in Manchester. It had rust up the rear turrets that needed welding and I think the front radiator was full of rust too, as the car would run very badly if you'd been caning it over 100mph, but it ran nicely once it had cooled down again. The best feature was rhe targa roof that stowed under the bonnet, and the reverse sweeping rev counter that matched the speedo in 5th gear, so as you accelerated the needles would move towards each other in perfect synchronisation.
Great job on the sports car Danny sometimes I think after you clean and buff then the silver would be cool if you placed clear coat on them and painted the inside.
I've never heard of playart before and it was a die cast disaster to be sure and you have turned it into a die cast delite love that paint job you gave it it is definitely ready to go now enjoyed the video
the quality of your work is amazing. As I recall, the targa tops on the real cars didn't fit very well either, so that's actually kinda done the way they were. That's one reason there aren't a heck of a lot these still around, water would get on the inside and rust them out from the inside as well as the normal outside rusting. being a big guy, not one of my favorite cars. However, there was a time, my dad and I were car shopping at a dealership that sold Buicks and Fiats, and I couldn't even get in the Buicks, most of the Fiats I could at least get in them, tho there was a probleml, the foot well was so small I could hit the clutch, brake and gas with one foot... the only way I could hit any of the pedals, the footwell was that tiny.
I love how it looks. Definetly an Upgrade from the old Ruined-ish one. I love the Orange and wheels! But the fitment is a bit odd. But other than that. Its awesome!
Great job. It think the Fiat was made first. Then the Triumph TR7, and years later the Pontiac Fiero. All having the very similar triangular wedge design.
I think that’s what the Pontiac Fiero was supposed to be modeled after?! At least that’s what the Fiero kinda looked like.. but good job Danny, as always!
What a transformation! The deep yellow color and wheels really make this car shine. Thanks for sharing this tutorial.
Wow. Don't think the factory ever put one out looking that good. Really like the super detailing.
I still own one now, 33 years old, 100,000 miles. I've got various models by Minichamps, norev, solido, corgi but not seen this casting before. Nicely restored.
100% improvement, now a new car. Thanks for the video.
💘 those aftermarket wheels...
It turned out awesome 👍👍😊
Really nice pain choice and the wheels do make it look more modern .Nice detailing ,a real trans formation for what you started with.........................
Now that's a restoration! Great colour choice!
Major improvement! Love the rich yellow hue.
From cheap toy to desirable collector model. Nice one. It's beautiful.
Really well done custom. The difference with what you started out with is stunning.
Incredible job! Perfect color choice! Looking forward to the next one.
Excellent job. I drove one of these at Brands Hatch racing school in th early 1980's. Great little cars
Another very well done restoration/customization!!... Looks like she's ready to take on the next windy country road!!.. EXCELLENT choice of wheels for this as well!!... I wish i had the talent and patience to do things like this..
Wow. What a difference! That paint looks great, and the wheels realy måde it pop.
Nice color.
That looks really amazing ! I admit I was skeptical about the Orange over the yellow, but it turned out way better than i imagined !
Awesome job amazing turn around cheers KC Tasmania Australia
The transformation was night and day, great work again Danny. I don’t know if it’s just me but it looked like the roof is caved in and that’s why the pillars stick out and the glass doesn’t fit right.
Wow. That is how it was supposed to have looked from the factory. Well done awesome job!
Amazing work Done 👍
👏 👏
What a beautiful restoration. It looks so very smart now in that gorgeous colour.
Fantastic job my friend! Looks awesome and I love the yellow paint! 💯🇺🇸
Great job Danny, like the paint job and the mag wheels.👍👍
Love everything about his project! The car, the colour, the wheels were all great! Fantastic outcome!
Nice Danny! You took a Playart car and made it worth a million bucks! Yellow and black are such a great combo!
Nice custom but i think the rooftop is bend inwards to the front. It should be nearly horizontal. Th A-pillers also bend outwards to the top. Should be more inward to push the roof up.. But realy finfe work the result looks beautiful.
Nice work. Wheels look great.
Luscious . I have never seen these Fiats out in the toy crashed and trashed markets.. need to look better I think. Beautiful
Nice restoration and paint job 👌
It’s like this color was made specifically for this car! The whole thing looks great Danny!👍🏽
I'm not even that into these little cars. Yet here I am, subscribed to you and a few others that do restorations.
It is looking very good, great job
And while I personally would have repainted back in the green again myself 🤔, another superb restoration, love the choice of wheel swap , and fantastic detailing as always 👌, keep up the good work 😁 . . .
Awesome casting
DAMMIT! You make me wish I had one of those cars now! Fab restore.
Awsome work Danny
Great job my friend, there was no doubt in my mind that it would turn out awesome.
Beautiful work.
I like it. Its like a pontiac fiero or an mr2.. very sporty looking
Your details game is on point. Awesome!!
Absolutely great as usual
the yellow looks legit as well as the wheels. :) looks like the casting used to have opening doors for a while... bummer they're gone.
hey, has anyone else the impression that the rear bumpers give two thumbs up? :D
great paint finish
Nice work Danny, looks loads better.
Très, très beau travail.
Vraiment.
Love it Danny! Almost purchased one of these back in the early '90's, bat sadly it came with the "factory" rust package in the boot floor behind the engine. Honestly, I think these were already rusting before they even left Italy!
lovely piece of work danny!!! ...........Love It Mate!!!
Wonderful Wonderful X19 well done

Great casting. Never heard of them. Looks very nice mate
You don't see playart cars on any other channel. Great stuff.
Beautiful! Makes me sorta want a Fiat X 1 9 now
Great job Danny. My late cousin had this car and I was very close to the yellow colour. Watching this video has brought back lots of happy memories of my cousin and the times I was in the car👍
SOO KOOOOOLLLL. Awesome work as always.
Mike Espo .
Great car! I had the Playart as a kid. Your restoration is great, except for the squashed roof.
Nice, always glad to see you restoring other brands, one day I want to restore a Gisima Diecast model
....came out really nice...reminds me of the old Fiero's..
The car looks nice! And good idea to replace the wheel suspension because I hate it when that happens on a toy car, I'd never owned a playart or the Car itself but I do remember it as one of Fiat's nicest sport cars.
Love the color! Great looking model. I have seen one of these at an auction, a little peculiar how they assemble this car.
Another nice job on the details...
The roofline still looks a little squished, but otherwise it is a fantastic repair/restoration. I loved the Fiat X/19's growing up and always wanted to own one. I believe I had one of these as well in a bright lime green.
WAY BETTER THAN IT WAS DANNY ☆☆☆☆☆ JOB MATE
Great job - Great color :) !

Great job mate keep it up!
You did a Beautiful job
I also had some play art cars ...the quality was much worse than matchbox or corgi..
You did a marvelous job on restoring this one👊🤩😍
So good looking little Fiat there, beautiful colour and wheels match very well. 😎
You don't see Playarts too often, i think they have very nice castings, but unfortunately they are so hard to find. I have find two, Zetor tractor (Corgi Juniors copy) and Lamborghini Miura.
Some castings look so much better with details painted--those Fiats were sold in Canada but I havn't seen one in years--they were rust buckets
Very nice result. It looks awesome ;-)
Awesome ex one nine mate, it looks superb now 🤘
these were great little cars to drive, unless the roads were wet as they became suicidal fun 🤪

It turned out sick danny.. love it bro.. great job.. another sweet piece for your sweet collection.. see you and take care.. big thumbs up.. :) :D
Great job, nice customization.I've got one similar, but from Corgi 😉 Congrats from Portugal. Cheers
In honor of it being a Fiat, BRAVISSIMO!
Great Custom Car
great colour, detailing and wheels. the roof panel looks a nit strange, but great resto
Completely different car. Again love the yellow. Turned out real nice.
Great job on the sports car Danny sometimes I think after you clean and buff then the silver would be cool if you placed clear coat on them and painted the inside.
I had a Playart diecast car in my youth!
Nice work. I'd like to see those wheels moved outward, under the flares. Looks kinda funny with the wheels where they are but nice either way.
Well done ,the colour and wheels look excellent...Not a fan of the original roof but this resto is classy.
My favorite color!
I had a '79 one in gold. Noisy as hell on the motorway and the brakes were shocking. I loved it though and it looked amazing.
Looks so much better in the yellow Danny! Can't halp be fethe roof still isn't right. Still a mega job tho. Keep um coming 👌
I've never heard of playart before and it was a die cast disaster to be sure and you have turned it into a die cast delite love that paint job you gave it it is definitely ready to go now enjoyed the video

If only the real ones looked as good as your final product....excellent
Man that scrubbed up nice.
I love your work buddy great stuff! Crying for a stripe on the sides tho
Fantastic work on a pour casting. That front grill looks in no way like the real thing
Nicely done
insanely cool
I love how it looks. Definetly an Upgrade from the
old Ruined-ish one. I love the Orange and wheels!
But the fitment is a bit odd. But other than that. Its awesome!
This color is perfect for this car.
Great job.
It think the Fiat was made first. Then the Triumph TR7, and years later the Pontiac Fiero. All having the very similar triangular wedge design.
The MR2 looked the same for a while as well.
I think that’s what the Pontiac Fiero was supposed to be modeled after?! At least that’s what the Fiero kinda looked like.. but good job Danny, as always!
Very, very cool!
