So, I just remarked to my wife that as a Gen X kid for whom RC stuff, especially aircraft, was a source of much daydreaming and poring over modelling magazines and manufacturer's brochures, I'd never have imagined I'd be living in an age where I'd be able to watch someone's hi-res footage from on-board their RC aircraft in the comfort of my own office in the UK :) Where in the world are you? It's beautiuful! I'm going to guess W. Virginia...?
I am in Eastern Tennessee ,,, you are not far off. As someone that is on the border between Boomer and GenX, I spent most of my life in the "concrete jungle" of Los Angeles area ... we had many great flying fields, but few with any natural beauty and none that did not involve a long drive in LA traffic to get to. I too used to look at the magazines and see photos from places of people flying in all sorts of beautiful places. It took me 57 years ... but I got here. I am living the dream, I can fly out of my back garden. I could not be happier. I've been here 5 years now ... and for me to leave, they will have to take me away in a box :)
