Thank you, once I get the tire pressure where I like it I may put the slats on for testing. Have had slats on other high wing planes and didn't care for them. Jeff
HI JEFF THANKS FOR SHARING SIR. I WOULD OF THOUGHT THE MORE AIR MORE BOUNCE. I COULD BE WRONG. PROBABLY A SWEET SPOT AT CERTAIN PRESSURE. GREAT FLYING AND LOOKING PLANE. REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GET MINE 🇬🇧🇺🇲✌🏼🤩
nice looking flights...Try turning 'the AS3X 'Off'; on landings ! Plus more air in tires... It worked for Travis...helped a lot 👍 just a thought ...have a great week...
Jim thank you, I need less air in the tires which will help a lot. I'm going to start landing it like I do my Hangar 9 Valiant. Still learning it's slow fly characteristics. Jeff
Adam thank you, will start trying different tire air pressures. Still getting to know the ST but what a great grab and go bigger plane with insane flight times. Jeff
Wayne thank you, still messing with tire pressure but I like it. The wings go on and off so easy which makes it easier to store and haul. The 6s 4000 battery in the position I show is perfect for the CG. Good luck with your maiden. Jeff
It is a difficult thing to get a smooth landing with this plane. Many claim a three point landing lessens the bounce. I will try it with my super timber once I get use to how it fly's. Great Video enjoyed watching Team Lets Go Flying........
Tug thank you. Just got back from flying the Super T with squishy tires and a little less full flaps. Got a lot of greasers by landing with a little speed touching the front tires and rolling out. Just fast enough to maintain control. It should land like your stick Timber. Good luck with the maiden. Jeff
Thank you, I like it a lot so far, still messing with tire pressure to get it dialed it. I like how easy the wings go on and off which makes it easy to store and haul. I'm getting an easy 11 minutes on the timer set to count when the throttle is over 25%. Jeff
Very nice aircraft jeff, flys very well, i had to reduce the landing flaps on my xfly twin otter to stop her coming in to slow on landing, you seem to have her just right, great flying and good landings...jeff....uk.
Gary thank you, still messing with tire pressure. The way the wings go on and off is the best method I've seen. With a 6s 4000 I can get 11 minutes on the timer set to count when the throttle is over 25%. Jeff
Nice flying Jeff you went to Liberty and today and I came up to Eastgate to watch Bobby new flyer I been training he lives 7 miles from east gate he solo 8 flights no issues good video Jeff and I really like this Super Timber👍👍👍
Frank thank you, we need to fix this keep missing each other 😁🤣 Send me an email, JeffXFlyRC@yahoo.com . It takes about the same amount of time to drive to Liberty or Eastgate, going to Liberty there isn't any traffic to deal with and it's a more relaxing drive. Jeff
Looks like it flies like a Timber :) I'm not a fan of the super thin soft tires. The DuBros I have on other planes are heavier, and dont bounce like some of these balloons do. I dont know that the TTE needed this update, its a very solid plane. Did you keep yours? I'd love to see a back to back flight review.
Sno thank you, I still have and like my Evo Turbo Timber which right now is on floats. Friday I took out the Super T and Hangar 9 Valiant. It is so easy to push the Super T's wings on and off. The Super T is 66 inches and the H9 Valiant is 69 inches. Had fun flying them both, can go over 10 minutes of throttle over 25% using a 6s 4000 battery. Will adjust the air pressure next outing, it would be nice if you could still get the HK Durafly Grand Tundra's soft tires. For grins I may take the tires off my Draco and try them on the Super T. Jeff
Nice flying, at the bottom of the flap setup page you can set the travel time, I would suggest setting it to 2 seconds, will give the plane less of a bump when you lower flaps. The bounce isn't the wheels, just need to slow down more and get that 3-point attitude set up with the power on a little earlier. I have the same problem with the Twin Timber, it's hard to land without a bounce as well, very similar plane other than the twin vs single. Nice to see someone actually practicing landings rather than just blaming the plane.
CR5 thank you, I was out flying the Super T today. I let out some air in the tires and took some of the down out of my landing flaps. I've decided to land on two wheels at a slower but yet controllable speed. I had five greasers in a row with a few little bouncers mixed in. I'm landing it like I do my Decathlons, Hangar 9 Valiant and it's working well. Just need more stick time with the Super T but after todays flights I'm pretty happy, now if could get rid of the gusty crosswinds. I like having a challenging plane to get nice landings with, part of the fun. Jeff
Renaldo thank you, I had some more flights since this video and I'm getting to know the Super T better. Took a little off my landing flaps and running less air in the tires. Jeff
Boss thank you, right now I don't care much for them but I'll get the air pressure perfect here soon. I'm thinking of using the tires off Draco. I wish HK still had the Durafly Grand Tundra with its soft tires witch would be perfect for the ST. Jeff
Nice job Jeff Im taking mine out on Monday 6/17 Im doing the rec 3200mah 30c so I will see how it goes but I think tire has to do alot with battery so I pumped up my tires like the manual 135mm and yeah you have to push that pin in until it you sorta feel a pop, I also had to take my rudder down to around 85 on rates to be safe for rudder stall Id love to hear any advice bud..idk but put the slats on see how it goes?? other wise you did a great job thanks my friend I do appreciate it
Joe thank you, I took out some air for our bumpy rough ground and I'm getting some nice landings. Right now I'm flying 80% throws with 20% expo. The Super T flies great, have a fantastic maiden. Jeff
Thank you, I'm still getting used to the tire pressure but when I land it like I would any Cub or high wing it's gravy. So easy to put on and take off the wings, getting over 10 minutes of flight time on a 6d 4000. It can really rip and flip with the large control surfaces. Jeff
Maybe installing the slats would help with the landings? I'm guessing
I agree, the type of flying Jeff does, slats much be a really good choice.
Thank you, once I get the tire pressure where I like it I may put the slats on for testing. Have had slats on other high wing planes and didn't care for them. Jeff
Loved how you dialed in your landing Jeff! 👏🏽😊, Mark
Mark thank you, still working on landings and air pressure, will get it for sure. Jeff
Nice job Jeff.Looks like a fun airplane to fly.
Donny thank you, still flying it slow and working on landings but yes the ST is fun and versatile to fly.

Glad you're enjoying the new plane Jeff . Flys nice .
Philip thank you, still working on getting the tire pressure dialed in but I do like it a lot. Jeff
Looks like a good airplane.
Paul thank you, still learning about keeping the ST happy on landings. Will try different air pressures next outing. Jeff
Great flying nice job Jeff
Thank you, getting very respectable landing now and having fun flying the Super T. Jeff
fantastic jeff, thnx for sharing, 🛩🛩🛩🛩🛩🛩
Jack thank you, still getting to know the Super T, but I like it, Jeff
Nice improvement landing. I would bounce them in on purpose.
Mr. Ramsey thank you, still getting to know the ST, will be trying different tire pressures next outing. Jeff
Great airplane! And a nice flight as always!
Alex thank you, will get the hang of landings soon, Jeff
Nice flights Jeff, I enjoy my Super Timber but the wheels are bouncy 👍🏻👍🏻
David thank you, going to let out some air next outing, think another three batteries and I'll have landing solved unless the brain blinks. Jeff
looks like she fly's real nice
JH thank you, the ST sure does and once I get the tire air pressure right it will help on short landings. Jeff
Great flying Jeff, Yet to maiden mine, rain wind & life getting in the way.
