It's my 3rd evening practicing this and I'm already 10mins in your video, playing at a nice tempo :) The only thing I'm missing is a video from the side that can demonstrate the up-down movement. Top-down video is great to understanding the notes and the in-out and rotation movements, however not very good for the up-down. Nevertheless, I think this video is the best explanatory and practicing video on youtube.
Dude.... Duuuuude..... DUDE! You have absolutely no idea how much i appreciate this!!. This is a piece i was learning about 8 years ago but became unwell and stopped playing the piano. Now i've come back to begin learning again and this video is perfect for my style of learning. I can read music but extremely slowly, i've always learnt best by ear and by just watching someone else, so this channel is an absolute godsend to me, THANKYOU!
I will learn this eventually. In the past school year, from August to now, I've grown closer to classical music. I asked my parents for an electric piano for Christmas and I love it. My dream is to become a soloist and a composer. In the past 6 to 7 months I've learned Chopin pieces like his waltz in a minor (op.posth) and even his waltz in c sharp minor. Thank you
Same story for me I got a keyboard since I am very fond of classical music from the moment I first listened to it. 6 months in and I can play Moonlight sonata 1st and 3rd mvmt (3rd without bass and 2 hands on the progression), rondo alla turca (turkish march), Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C sharp minor Op 3 no 2 and Debussy’s Arabesque and Clair de lune wich I am learning right now. Let’s both rise to the top, brother.

This Tutorial is amazing! I have been practicing this for months and have been having problems getting it up to speed. Just 15 min practicing with these tips and its opened up another world to me. My speed and fluidity has dramatically increased with just a short practice. I will be working these tips into my practice routine from now on. I have watched many good videos on how to practice this piece, they have been good but were lacking in addressing the problems encountered when trying to increase your playing speed. The other videos just brush over the problems and solutions but this one really identifies the problems and how to overcome them. It's simply incredible what you do here. Where others would expect money, you just bring out a video to learn a full piece bit by bit, explaining like a real piano teacher who you probably are. You already really helped me to learn the beautiful piece Clair de lune from Debussy, but I really didn't expect that you would take the time to explain the *whole* 3rd movement of the moonlight sonata. I can't put into words how much I appreciate that. Plus, you're not only showing how to paly the piece but also introduce some exercises to master some very difficult parts of it. I'm probably not even close to the level of a hobby piano player who actually should learn this piece, but I am very convinced that everyone can learn anything, if they just practice the piece. This is one of my favorites and I'm excited to learn it. First completing first movement, then second, and then this very one in this video. Wish me luck!

Thank you so much for this video!! ❤
No problem 😊
I’m nowhere near ready or able to begin learning this, but until I can I’m happy to listen it and watch tutorial videos. I’ll certainly come to this video when I’m able to start learning this piece though.
Glad that you like watching the tutorial.
with your tutorial, it's becoming really easy to play this piece, slowed down and putting it theoretically, this piece is actually easy!
I also love that you say chords and inversions, it really helps a lot.
Glad that is helpful!
This is godsend I’m basically a beginner but the beginning is coming so easy to me thank you 🙏 I play it so much and I never ever get bored of this masterpiece
Can’t express my gratitude for sharing such complete courses for free love from 🇫🇷
Glad you enjoy it!
I absolutely LOVE your tutorials! They are so clear and down to it. If you're not too busy could you please make a full one of Chopin Etude Op 10 No 3 in E major (Tristesse)? I love that piece, but can't find any good tutorials. That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Discovering this channel is like striking gold.
The hardest part of this piece for me is breathing. I can play it but around part 3 I don’t have enough air lol.
Relax. Take you time.
What! Are you playing it with your mind or something
My breathing goes faster when I focus too hard lol and start getting headaches
Then you are blowing on the piano wow 👏 props to you

I'm the kind of guy who loves to play the piano but can only read music at an extremely slow pace, almost like I can't read music
but your channel is a savior!!!!!! I've learned the minute waltz, and fantaise impromptu, and now this, quicker and better than any class I've ever been to.
really appreciate it, keep It going!!!!!
PS Could you please consider doing Polonaise in A-Flat Major, Op. 53 "Heroic" by chopin, maybe in the future?
