Guys over at Collider, I just wanted to take a few moments and say the following: Thank you. Thank you guys so much for creating content that is amazing. I can come home from work and go to Collider's UA-cam page, and know that there will be something that my 19-year-old nerd-self can geek out about. Whether it be Movie Talk, Heroes, Jedi Council, -even everything over at Schmoes Know - you name it. I love it all. My friends, coworkers, and even people in my family laugh at me or give me looks of disgust when I bring up something movie-related or something "nerdy" that I wanna talk about. Movies are my life, but nobody around me seems to give a crap. So again, thank you. Thank you for having a channel that has open arms for people like me, and says that it's more than okay to talk movies here. Collider is a place where I can just stay here for hours and zone out from all the other junk going on in life. From the Man of Steel AMC days all the way to today, I can honestly say Collider feels like home. You guys are the best.
I'm all for Kevin Smith appearing on Jedi Council, but the bad language restrictions are gonna need to be reeeeaaally loosened. They need to let him cut loose.
sm4carnageihope Yeah, they really don't have a restriction on language anymore, but they still do try to restrain themselves. Every once and a while, an F-bomb slips and it's not a big deal, but they've never approached Kevin Smith's level.
JBlade 2074 The thing about Plagueis is, is that except for Qui-Gon, there are no characters more intertwined with the concept of midi chlorians. I personally have no issue with that but many Star Wars fans have to contend with the fact that this major upcoming character most likely created Anakin Skywalker out of nothing.
Well, I always saw the mediclorians (how ever its spelled) as a unit of measurement for the force since just saying that someone is strong in the force is kinda suggestive. I guess Anakin just spawned....
General Hux is Tarkin's best disciple and Leader Snoke is the final incarnation of Darth Plagueis the wise. Can anyone tell me otherwise!? He was killed in his sleep, but his body wasn't totally destroyed. He mastered the art of dark side essence transfer. Thus, one of his experiments succeeded in the soul of plagueis going into his original body except in perfect health. That explains all the light saber scars. The body was reanimated, because that is just how powerful he got.
Finn is going to join a long Star Wars tradition of losing a hand during a light saber battle. That scene in the trailer where Rey is crying over a body in a brown leather jacket is Finn after he loses his fight against with Kylo Ren.
+Action Figure World Finn is definitely not going to die. You don't introduce a character as compelling as a Stormtrooper turned Resistance member in the first movie of your trilogy and then axe him before the end of it. The audience's emotional investment likely won't even be anywhere near strong enough to really feel for the guy if you only get to see him for one film in which he is constantly sharing the screen with multiple other characters. Han Solo, on the other hand, will be dead as a fucking doorknob by the conclusion of the movie. Mark my words.
Victor Knievel He'll be in all of Episode 8 as a major supporting character. Han Solo is the Obi-Wan figure for Ep. 7 and Luke is the Yoda character for Ep. 8. *It's like poetry. It rhymes.*
Justin Bolger was extraordinary in this episode of Collider Jedi Council. He added great commentary to each topic of the discussion. Demonstrated a comprehensive grasp of the Star Wars cannon, arcs and current movement.
Justin is a great guest for you guys. His comments were very well studied, thought out and conveyed. You guys seem to have good chemistry for conversation together. Great show! Thanks and keep up the good work 8)
The way John acts tells me someone has told him Snoke is Plagueis. He seems very "cheeky" (for lack of a better word) about it. Anyone else get that vibe?
Ugh I can't remember if it was John or someone else on Collider that said this but I remember John saying (I believe on Collider MailBag) that an inside source told him something about the movie that makes him have a 95+% chance of Snoke being Plagueis
Just in this episode alone he seemed like he knew something that he can't share. I do remember him saying the toy thing now that you mention it but he was willing to talk about that (obviously) but he doesn't seemed to be willing to talk about whatever it is
+Dean Thomas Maybe John's just a little full of himself and his own predictions, acting smugly like they are basically true already even without real confirmation?
Love this show! Bring Justin Bolger as much as possible for as many shows as he'll do. He's well spoken and knows what he's talking about! Great Work Guys!
+Sudspen Motion Pictures if it's a new villain, there is no effect to anyone. if it's Darth plagueis then there is no effect to casual goers but there will be a great effect for the star wars fan. in other words, you have nothing to lose and something to gain if you use Darth plagueis as the villain.
+Sudspen Motion Pictures Well most people didnt know who Ultron was either in Age Of Ultron, i literally had too explain too my mom who that was cuz imma comic book head too the death of me lololololol
Honestly I love the character of Plagueis and the book. I never thought that the staff would really relate much to him. I would have loved to have seen Plagueis but I was always under the impression that Snoke would be a new character. After hearing the interview with Serkis + Daisy's comments on the staff I am sold on Snoke being Plagueis.
Bring Justin back more on the show! Here are my percentages: Kylo and Rey being siblings from Han and Leia- 75% chance Leia's kid being Kylo and Lukes kid being Rey- 95% chance Han dying in Ep7- 2% chance Snoke being Plagueis- 80% chance
Collider, bring back Justin. Those insights about Leia especially had me nodding and saying 'Yes' out loud on his explanations and his feedback. His talk on Harrison Ford was profound as well. Damn Justin, come back! hahaha. Really incredible episode, outstanding work, gentlemen R.I.P. Daniel Fleetwood. The Force will be with him, always
Thank you for the reading list. I have watched Star Wars 1-6, but want to immerse myself more into the Star Wars universe w/o using a wiki. BTW thank you for the (free) commentaries. It is a treat to re-watch these movies from an adult (me) and a professional (John Campea, Jon Schnepp, Kristian Harloff and Mark Ellis- btw all also adults) perspective. Again THANKS!
if u want to try SW books, some of the expanded universe stuff(now called legends) is excellent-the legacy of the force series is great,as are all timothy zahns SW books
Putting it at 1% Plagueis certainty for me, sorry guys. JJ and Kasdan simply didn't look at that material by all accounts, they ditched all the old canon to make a totally unique story, their new villain won't be something someone else had created. My 2 cents anyway.
+Jordan Kelley I would agree with you if Plagueis hadn't been mentioned in Ep 3. Will he be a Muun? Will he have a staff? Maybe, maybe not. But I think he's Snoke.
+Alexander - B249 if I remember correctly there was never a starkiller base in the EU so your point invalid. there is a character who's code name is starkiller in the EU though.
I absolutely enjoyed listening to Justin speak. The guy knows his shit about SW. I would love to see him at least once a month on The Council. Make it happen Campea!!!
If it's not Plagueis I'd be fine with it. As long as Snoke has an interesting history similar to Plagueis. If he's a Sith, most likely. If he is not a Sith, I'd think he's a new character
Rey is TOTALLY Luke's daughter. It is a dead giveaway just in her outfit. That is the skywalker outfit. Luke in Star Wars, Anakin in Phantom Menace. Plus this Star Wars is about Skywalkers, not Solo, not Organa. Rey Skywalker.
+Herman Falck How I also want her to be luke's kid. I just would hate it if they keep making the dark side some sort of anakin side problem, vader got corrupted by it, then luke was tempted but ofcourse he didn't change and then to make kylo ren the evil kid abandoned by his daddy that is just COME ONNNNNN. it sounds far more endearing to the story for rey to be luke's kid and to have faith that her father left for a reason, and also even luke didn't hate anakin after the truth came out despite the mass murders he loved his father and wanted to save him in the end. It always pulls on the heartstrings when i watch luke go back for his father despite knowing how bad vader is not give up on him, he had faith that his father loved him and I think more than anything it was his son's faith that pushed Vader to kill the emperor hurrahhhhh for papa. That quality of keeping faith on your family seems like a luke quality and something rey his daughter would posses. Wouldn't it just be awesome if KYLO REN is just not a solo or a skywalker because too many are putting money on it and it just would be better if he was just some evil douche.
+Mirthula Govindaraj there's actually a theory that luke did, indeed, turn to the dark side at the end of RotJ. Not a SITH but the dark side. Look it up. It's very convincing
Council was great as always. Have to say Justin was a solid addition to the council, I appreciated what he brought to the table. P.S. thank you guys for all your hard work, especially Dennis!
+Taheah Shahdaiah (Possible Spoilers) Not sure. They probably think so because people are speculating that the person Rey is crying over in the trailer is Kylo killing Finn in a battle. Although I think it's just going to be Finn losing an arm. Continuing that tradition ;)
+Carwyn Morris I think so too. The staff is just a staff. But the guest was right she will use a double sided lightsaber because she is used to wielding a large stick so she is comfortable with twirling that around and they are far more difficult to master than a single blade. I think the staff significance is just to symbolize that Rey will transition to a double sided lightsaber as her weapon of choice.
I wasn't familiar with him before now, but Justin is a really great addition this week. Intelligent and intelligible. I really hope to see him as a guest again in the future, either here on Jedi Council, or any other Collider video.
+Charles Testrake Absolutely not so. Kennedy and Abrams know to keep their distance from the most hated elements of the PT. Now there's of stuff they can include such as the planets and vehicles, but some things absolutely have to stay away from like Jar Jar.
+Rob Freebeard how do you feel after seeing the movie?...same theme used in e7 was used in e3 talking about plagueis. it would tie all the movies together perfectly.
sure i'm grasping but i was just wondering if you thought snoke was a completely new character or if he could be palpatine's master....we will see in e8 though ;)
I don't understand all these Plagueis rumors. He died a long time ago by Palpatine's blade and I'm sure he would've made sure he killed him for good. Why would Serkis be him of all characters?
+BloodyFlowerFilms Plagueis' big thing was how he wanted to become immortal. If Darth Plagueis "came back" and indeed found a way to surpass death I dont believe anyone would be shocked, which is why people always expect his return for secret characters like Snoke.
Not to sound rude but for one Palpatine never killed him with his blade or if we are certain he tried to kill him for good. The only thing in canon that we know about Plagueis is that 1. He was Palpatines master 2. He knew how to cheat death 3. Palpatine killed him in his sleep. Everything else is legends and not canon. So the writers can do whatever they want with the character to have him make sense with the canon.
Plagueis couldn't cheat his own death. And it would surprise and disappoint the hell out of me if it was Plagueis, since he's been canonically dead for nearly 60 years. This would be my worst fear come true if he was Plagueis. No way they could work it to make sense to me. Not gonna totally ruin it for me be it would be a HUGE let down.
+Matt Edwards its makes sense that someone who spent his whole life trying to learn to cheat death actually cheats death. While I can understand your hesitancy I wouldnt be let down at all if it were in fact him.
I think it would be cool if Sylvester Stallone had a cameo in Star Wars as some bar keep or mobster. It is possible that it could take you out of the movie though... Thoughts?
Justin is excellent at articulating concise thoughts. The right thoughts. Opinions are limited and all of his statements were objective evaluations of the topics filled with great subject matter knowledge. Very good addition
The issue with the whole Plagueis thing is, it connects back to the Prequels. Yes, the prequels ARE canon, that can never be disputed. BUT, obviously with this new trilogy of films they are attempting to hearken back to the original films almost completely disregarding the plot points from the prequels. Plagueis is a product of the prequels just as the midi-clorins are, so why would they ignore pretty much everything else but make exception to Plagueis? Sure, the legacy story of Darth Plagueis might be loads better than the prequels ever were but, again, it's still a product of time in Star Wars lore that Abrams is clearing trying to avoid. ....I'm not a Plagueis naysayer, I'm just saying that I wouldn't bank on Snoke being Plagueis.
+Ryan West yeah, well I don't pray for more midiclorian shite, but that Opera scene in ROTS was pretty damn nice I thought. It made me want to know more about Palpatine's old Master :)
+Jack Davis Absolutely. But good or bad elements, ignoring certain aspects of the prequels yet drawing from others doesn't make sense to me. If you bring in Plagueis then there should be no reason NOT to include elements like, say, as mentioned before, the midiclorins. Like, you don't go into these movies saying that we're going back to the originals, almost virtually disregarding the prequels in all your marketing for the film yet then go back on your word and acknowledge an element from those same films simply because you thought it was a better part of them. My thought is that it's ALL or nothing. ...That being said, if they do bring in stuff from the prequels, like dual bladed lightsabers or even Darth Plagueis, I will be in complete and utter support of that. I just don't want to go in expecting things that most likely will not be there because of their connection to the prequels. The whole concept of this film is OT, OT, OT, and I don't think they will go back on that right out of the gate.
Because the prequels itself might not be good but influence some of the best star wars lore in its history from books comics and cartoons. An they want to expand on one of the most mysterious and interesting characters in star wars lore. Just a thought my star wars brother.
I like Justin's staff theory, it makes me buy into a mix of both theories: Rey could end up with a double-bladed LS in another movie AND Snoke IS Plagueis and that IS his staff that Kylo takes back at some point in this movie.
Love when quality fans guest on the show! Great episode with great conversations. I really enjoyed it. P.S. I hope no one dies ever. If Justin's conspiracy comes true you'll hear me ugly sobbing in the theater.
Could you elaborate more? I'm not trying to sound rude but I'm curious to why a lot of people are saying this? To me anyways, episode 7 looks very dark. Like Ep 3 and 5 dark, maybe even more. While A New Hope isn't even dark at all.
+Aqins Well, A Good Star Wars episode does not have to be dark to be good. If every episode is dark it will be a strange state of nothing ever changing. Anyway, I really hope this movie will be good, but from what I have seen and read it looks like they are copying A new hope (New super weapon, new baddie who is actually not the big baddie, young person living on a desert planet and it looks like we got yet another trench run) pretty sure I can find even more paralels but i am tired atm. I like A new hope, but pls make an original movie. :)
Not just a new hope, but there are a lot of scenes in the trailers that are reminiscent to many of the original and prequel trilogy. Also a lot of new and original scenes. It's just been known that JJ makes his movies with heavy influence from the material that is already available, for instance Into Darkness and Wrath of Kahn.
My guess: Han Solo will die in Force Awakens, Luke will die in Episode 8 and Leia will either die in episode 8, at the conclusion of the trilogy or survive all three movies.
***** Antagonizing the fanbase? Yeah, if they don't kill Han or Luke, both JJ and DISNEY will lose tons of my respect. Well......MORE of my respect. You HAVE to kill them off. By keeping them alive, you are only allowing them to overshadow the newer, younger characters.
I think Luke will be taken out by either Snoke or Kylo Ren in the climax of 9, maybe like Obi-Wan did in 4, forcing Finn and Rey (who I think are both force sensitive, myself) to properly become Jedi in their own rights.
I am sick of this whole Plagueis thing... 97% certainty???? Good grief!! How deluded. I'm sorry guys, but why do you not want NEW characters? Why does everything have to be connected? Galaxies are HUGE. Stop trying to make the galaxy far far away seem smaller and smaller.
Because plagueis is soooo cool and badass. I get your point and agree with u in EVERYTHING else but this I LOVEEE plaguis I want to see him in the big screen.
+Julian Clanton That's called "fan service", my friend. I hate fan service. I don't want filmmakers to put stuff in their movies because die-hard fans want them to. I want creativity, not appeasement.
Evan Gray I understand an I'm not for fan service I believe it'll be good for the story and a way to help connect the universe together. I wouldn't be against if it's a new character 9/10 times it probably will be a new character. But the people who actually know who plaguise is is like 1% of who will watch the movie. So to majority of movie goers plaguise will be new to an might not get the connection.
As soon as Justin mentioned the poster with Leia's weapon of choice being her intelligence and strategic awesomeness, my mind went to Bastila's Battle Meditation. Lo and behold Kristian mentions it! I feel it is such a perfect fit for an experienced Leia. It's not the easiest thing to portray in film, but I really hope more focus is placed on the different ways the force can be wielded. Great to see Justin here. Miss hearing him on TheForceCast every week!
Yep...I have to agree with many others here: Justin Bolger needs to be back on the show. He's got some great theories and interesting counterpoints, and what seems to be a healthy dose of knowledge.
Any chance you could start linking in the description to all the articles you discuss? Ie: link to the star tours clip, link to the battlefront clip etc? Be really nice to be able to watch along without having to search and hope we're seeing what you see? Thanks guys, keep up the awesome work!
I have to say two things; 1) Kristian is an awesome host and is just perfect for Jedi Council and 2) I love it when he says "What's the deal with cannon?"!!
Justin Bolger from TheForce.Net (not .com guys) and The ForceCast awesome guys. Just heard him on Assembly of Geeks yesterday great having him on the show guys!!! Justin's views on Star Wars I've always respected
Justin needs to be on here again.
Agree
+PJ Maher he knows the force
totally
+PJ Maher agreed. Someone who is equal, or even more, knowledge with Star Wars canon to Harloff is great.
dude just drops knowledge, found myself nodding my head when he was speaking
Guys over at Collider, I just wanted to take a few moments and say the following:

I'm all for Kevin Smith appearing on Jedi Council, but the bad language restrictions are gonna need to be reeeeaaally loosened. They need to let him cut loose.
+A Morgan Theres no language restricton anymore I think. They don't work for AMC anymore.
I actually don't understand that because when they first came to collider they swore and didn't care about it
sm4carnageihope Yeah, they really don't have a restriction on language anymore, but they still do try to restrain themselves. Every once and a while, an F-bomb slips and it's not a big deal, but they've never approached Kevin Smith's level.
+A Morgan he drops it at Australian level!
The Gaming Kitchen
Sad, but true.
Justin is amazing, insightful and well-spoken. Please have him on more often.
I wait all day for Jedi Counsel
+Jonathan Pearson Same hahaha.
+Jonathan Pearson Me too man. Sweaties for life
You guys deserve an award for Jedi Council. It has become the definitive, one-stop shop for Star Wars news. Thank you so much!
Waiting for the inevitable Andy Serkis movie, where he mo-caps every character in the film!
+ComiCop I know right?
+ComiCop Here's a better question: do we want Snoak to be Darth Pleagus? I say go for it.

Justin Bolger knows his stuff, lot of insight. It'd be great to have him back again some time!
Justin is my favorite part of The ForceCast...Now he is on Jedi Council. This is the best!!! MAKE THIS PERMANENT!!!!
Great show guys Justin is a pretty good guest to have he brings some good perspectives on the story.
Justin Bolger was awesome in this episode!!!
Finn is going to join a long Star Wars tradition of losing a hand during a light saber battle. That scene in the trailer where Rey is crying over a body in a brown leather jacket is Finn after he loses his fight against with Kylo Ren.

+Action Figure World I am a "brother" and I agree with you lol
+Action Figure World This isn't a Horror movie. And Lando would agree with me
Victor Knievel He'll be in all of Episode 8 as a major supporting character.
Han Solo is the Obi-Wan figure for Ep. 7 and Luke is the Yoda character for Ep. 8.
*It's like poetry. It rhymes.*

Justin is a great guest for you guys. His comments were very well studied, thought out and conveyed. You guys seem to have good chemistry for conversation together. Great show! Thanks and keep up the good work 8)
I find it fascinating how the face of snoke has huge scars on it..
Great show and a great guest in Justin - really enjoyed hearing his insights and thoughts.

Justin is awesome! Bring him back again! :)
Justins input was very impressive. I definitely think he would make a great addition to the council
Love this show! Bring Justin Bolger as much as possible for as many shows as he'll do. He's well spoken and knows what he's talking about! Great Work Guys!
After Andy Serkis's comments, I'm almost certain that Snoke is Plagueis (sorry not entirely sure how to spell his name)
+Sam Rider No, that's correct spelling.
+Sam Rider plagueis will not be recognized by most people, it would be a wasted reveal cause only we know who he is.

Palpatine/Vader 2016. Who's with me?
+Ren Davis I'll second that!
+Ren Davis TRUMP 2015!!!
+Ren Davis They already had two terms from 2001-2009. That's the limit.
***** ooooohhh very nice
***** You do realize I was joking, right?
Bring Justin back more on the show!
Here are my percentages:
Kylo and Rey being siblings from Han and Leia- 75% chance
Leia's kid being Kylo and Lukes kid being Rey- 95% chance
Han dying in Ep7- 2% chance
Snoke being Plagueis- 80% chance
Justin was a awesome guest bring him back!
I really enjoyed Justin's contribution to this episode. Great stuff, as always!
Justin Bolger knows his shit. Join the council for good, he should!
Great show today, Justin Bolger was a great addition to the council, I hope we'll see him again!
If Finn dies I am going to be CRUSHED. He is already my favorite character.
Collider, bring back Justin. Those insights about Leia especially had me nodding and saying 'Yes' out loud on his explanations and his feedback.
His talk on Harrison Ford was profound as well.
Damn Justin, come back! hahaha.
Really incredible episode, outstanding work, gentlemen

There is a canon timeline, look it up, lots of new books coming out that are relevant to the story.
+swfcocs1 Only Read Darth Plaguis book, Legacy of The Force was aweful.
Acror Damaage Too late, already ordered Lords of the Sith, Lost Stars, Tarkin, and Dark Disciple. I will try Darth Plagueis later, but thanks!
Rhoopus Kaiju Did look up canon timeline, but no specific book titles mentioned. I will "re-google" it. :)
Justin was a great addition to the council. I would love to see him back again. His knowledge and insight are impressive.
I like Justin. Hope to see him again.
Justin Bolger was great by the way! Aweseome dude! Bring him back! Another marvelous episode of Jedi Council!
Did anyone think that maybe Snoke is a composite character of Darth Plagueis and Grand Admiral Thrawn?
+neosoontoretro I like the idea, but I think Benicio del Toro is going to be our "Thrawn" type character in Ep 8
jdawgjbc1 Oh yeah, I forgot about him. As long as there is "Thrawn" type of character I'm fine.
+jdawgjbc1 I hope so
+Julian Whiteway I think he is referenced to in Aftermath. I haven't read it, and won't based off of the reviews.
Please have Justin on again. He was a brilliant addition to the Council. I really enjoyed hearing his views on the galaxy far far away
It is very possible he is, yes
bring back Justin Bolger as often as possible! that dude was absolute gold!
Putting it at 1% Plagueis certainty for me, sorry guys. JJ and Kasdan simply didn't look at that material by all accounts, they ditched all the old canon to make a totally unique story, their new villain won't be something someone else had created. My 2 cents anyway.
true
+Jordan Kelley I would agree with you if Plagueis hadn't been mentioned in Ep 3. Will he be a Muun? Will he have a staff? Maybe, maybe not. But I think he's Snoke.
+Jordan Kelley Yeah, because they have a base called Starkiller, which was never used in the old EU.
/s
+Alexander - B249 if I remember correctly there was never a starkiller base in the EU so your point invalid. there is a character who's code name is starkiller in the EU though.
Manny Gober Sigh, My point was they re used the name. You're dumb.
I absolutely enjoyed listening to Justin speak. The guy knows his shit about SW. I would love to see him at least once a month on The Council. Make it happen Campea!!!
I hope Snoke is a sith pureblood.
glad I've come across your channel, i have literally binge watched your jedi council videos in a couple of days.. love it keep up the good work..
If it's not Plagueis I'd be fine with it. As long as Snoke has an interesting history similar to Plagueis. If he's a Sith, most likely. If he is not a Sith, I'd think he's a new character

Leia is just as much Anakins kid as Luke... Her last name was adopted
Soren Coleman That is true. She would have Skywalker DNA. But they need the name as well.
Council was great as always. Have to say Justin was a solid addition to the council, I appreciated what he brought to the table.
P.S. thank you guys for all your hard work, especially Dennis!
What if it's Kylo that dies and she finds out they are related? No one has even thought of that!
We don't need to get Darth Mauled again :(
+Aqins I see what u did there
Yeah, no. Please God no.
+Aqins While I do agree, I don't want a Darth Maule situation. But if the story is told well, I wouldn't mind it.
+Undisputed Lover. he'll turn to the light side by the end of the trilogy
Fantastic episode. Have watched it 3 times now and I hope you guys invite Justin back again. Fantastic guest and I felt he was really on par here.
What are your theories on Finn? I want to hear why you think he's going to die.
He ain't dying. He's confirmed for Ep8.
Aqins I know that, just wondering why they think he would die.
+Taheah Shahdaiah (Possible Spoilers)
Not sure. They probably think so because people are speculating that the person Rey is crying over in the trailer is Kylo killing Finn in a battle. Although I think it's just going to be Finn losing an arm. Continuing that tradition ;)
+Taheah Shahdaiah If we went by that, the only person who can die is Kylo Ren...
+Aqins It's like poetry... It rhymes...
Love Justin in the Forcecast! Hope you guys bring him back to the show!
I think Rey's staff just gives her a good profile in the same way Indiana Jones's hat gives him a recognizable profile.
I think her staff will turn out to be a training blade from either the Jedi temple or a lost sect of Sith.
I like this Justin Bolger guy. His insights are thought out and ring true. Bring him back for future episodes.
Somebody PLEASE give me their opening theme..
I wasn't familiar with him before now, but Justin is a really great addition this week. Intelligent and intelligible. I really hope to see him as a guest again in the future, either here on Jedi Council, or any other Collider video.
I just hope Snoke is not Jar Jar Binks.
+Charles Testrake Absolutely not so. Kennedy and Abrams know to keep their distance from the most hated elements of the PT. Now there's of stuff they can include such as the planets and vehicles, but some things absolutely have to stay away from like Jar Jar.
I love it when people reply seriously to these posts
Ian R He seemed to act serious.
Jar Jar is the key to everything
+Freemind Did you read this? www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/3qvj6w/theory_jar_jar_binks_was_a_trained_force_user/
Best Jedi Council guest to date . . . my opinion. Please bring him back in the future.
*It should be Plagueis who else is good to be the Main Villiam if not him? some Random guy? or Jar Jar Binks
I can't explain enough how glad I am to have found your channel. Great work, as always.
So tired of the Plagueis rumors. Not going to happen, guys.
+Rob Freebeard but you are totally going to cut off your beard if it does happen? :D
I Second that.
+Rob Freebeard how do you feel after seeing the movie?...same theme used in e7 was used in e3 talking about plagueis. it would tie all the movies together perfectly.
+zachary kimball I fell no different. The "connection" with the music seems like grasping at straws to me.
sure i'm grasping but i was just wondering if you thought snoke was a completely new character or if he could be palpatine's master....we will see in e8 though ;)
Thank you guys for going into the books a little bit more with an overview.
If it's not Plagueis, it'll certainly be a descendant.
+Matt Edwards its makes sense that someone who spent his whole life trying to learn to cheat death actually cheats death. While I can understand your hesitancy I wouldnt be let down at all if it were in fact him.
Bring Justin back as often as he can make it on! I loved the points he brought up. Great point about Leia and the poster.
the new guy was great
Best Jedi Council guest ever. Because STAR WARS never had flashbacks and never should.
I think it would be cool if Sylvester Stallone had a cameo in Star Wars as some bar keep or mobster. It is possible that it could take you out of the movie though... Thoughts?
+Ryan Byrne (Penne)
No Stallone has nothing to do with Star Wars it would just be a "huh?" moment
I realize he has nothing to do with Star Wars but I think it would be cool to see him in a cameo.
Leave.
+Ryan Byrne no please leave and rethink your life.
+D more a wtf moment XD
That Plagueis scene is one of the few great moments of the prequels though.
+Ryan West True, but I think Palpatine was the only redeemable quality of the prequels.
If Ellis is r2d2 Kristian is definitely chopper...
Any of this could have been better than what we got in TLJ, Thanks a lot Ruin Johnson.
I have already watch't force awaken s
Love when quality fans guest on the show! Great episode with great conversations. I really enjoyed it.
P.S. I hope no one dies ever. If Justin's conspiracy comes true you'll hear me ugly sobbing in the theater.
guys, they're both siblings and cousins ;) ;)
Great show! I absolutely loved it. Justin's input was brilliant and well spoken. I would love to see him become s permanent member of the show.
Anyone worried that TFA seems to be a bit too much of a copy pasta of A New Hope?
Could you elaborate more? I'm not trying to sound rude but I'm curious to why a lot of people are saying this? To me anyways, episode 7 looks very dark. Like Ep 3 and 5 dark, maybe even more. While A New Hope isn't even dark at all.
+tcktothemaxxx That's my biggest fear for this movie, not that it'll be bad but that it'll be basically A New Hope 2.0
Either way it will be better than the prequels by miles, that's for sure
Dude, Justin is the man. Bring him back all the time!
How about Leia dies at the end of 8 and Han and Luke both die of old age
+Wolverine 9098 i concur i rather have harrison ford around more than carrie fisher
Harrison did say he was glad he wasn't killed off, so hopefully they'll keep him around longer.
this was an awesome episode. The highlight was Justin, BRING HIM BACK AGAIN!
So Excited Justin Bolger is here. I used to listen to Forcecast alot, haven't recently, but it's nice to see a guest I actually know.
Justin did an excellent job. He is a great addition, and definitely hope that he can be invited with more frequency. Great show.
I'll address the council that you bring Justin back, great with the group. Very insightful.
Justin is on point all show! Great guest to have on the show!
Yep...I have to agree with many others here: Justin Bolger needs to be back on the show. He's got some great theories and interesting counterpoints, and what seems to be a healthy dose of knowledge.
Also, I hope you guys have Justin Bolger on more often. He had some great insights and some interesting ideas. Shook it up a bit.
Justin was a fantastic guest on the show. Please invite him back!
Any chance you could start linking in the description to all the articles you discuss? Ie: link to the star tours clip, link to the battlefront clip etc?
Be really nice to be able to watch along without having to search and hope we're seeing what you see?
Thanks guys, keep up the awesome work!
Would like to see Justin back! Was very well informed and well spoken! Great show guys!!
this guest is so on point, so engaging, and so Canadian
...and Justin your rock man. Really enjoyed you on the show. John you should hire this kid..
Justin needs to be on the show more often. Great ideas and point of view.
Never seen Justin before but he was great, mixed really well with John and Kristian. Have him back pls!
great show as always and good to have Justin on invite him back already!
I like Justin Bolger, he knows his stuff. I vote we give him a regular seat on the council.
I have to say two things; 1) Kristian is an awesome host and is just perfect for Jedi Council and 2) I love it when he says "What's the deal with cannon?"!!
Always have been a huge fan of Justin. He belongs on the Council.
Justin Bolger from TheForce.Net (not .com guys) and The ForceCast awesome guys. Just heard him on Assembly of Geeks yesterday great having him on the show guys!!! Justin's views on Star Wars I've always respected
