If you have to stick to the afternoon games because of the time zones difficulty you won't see any Storm games as they aren't playing earlier than 530pm Australian Eastern time.

@@EamonnReacts generally most teams get a fair spread of the time slots the competition is pretty good at making sure even the lower ranked sides get prime time action . Often it gets published the details of teams balance of home and away games, and afternoon or night games and which day balance. Melbourne Storm seemed to get its afternoon games early in the season, maybe due to better afternoon weather in March April. You could just watch the game later at a more humane time and people can just watch it and synch it themselves. They're doing really well considering the injury list. I don't think one game has had all first choice guys on the park. Depth has been tested.

commentators are signed to a network so either fox or nine. nine has exclusive rights to origin so only their team can commentate it since fox arent allowed to broadcast it. Andrew Voss used to be a nine commentator back in the day but is currently signed to fox.
Fox broadcast origin but they can't do it live. I just checked and Warren Smith was commentator for both games this year.
Johnson is out for 4 weeks minimum due to injury

Shaun Johnson had 8 Seasons at the Warriors. 3 at the Sharks . And now 3rd year back at the Warriors.
There isn't technically a trade in a draft sense. But a mid season trade can be made if two teams need to get a couple of guys out on loan.
Eg a few years ago Storm had 3 top grade number 9s , Tigers needed one, Storm ran out of centres so they loaned to each other. Harry Grant returned at the end of the season and the Tigers guy moved on to another team his contract was finished.
Api Koroisau being binned for that tackle was a joke. Ball carrier was no where near past the horizontal..NRL needs to harden up again.

On commentary, 2 tv networks cover the NRL in Australia, Fox Sports are the cable tv/ subscription tv network, Nine is the free tv or traditional aerial tv network. Nine has the Thursday game, 2nd Friday game, and Sunday afternoon game. Fox has all games except Origin. The commentators are with either network. Warriors home games are covered by SkyNZ, we get the same commentators on those games. They aren't aligned with any teams in that sense.
Jerseys. All teams have multiple options, they have designated Home , Away, Indigenous, ANZAC, and an alternate ( in the past its been quite flexible like Marvel round, DC round or some other theme.).
Johnson might have an option on getting out if he or the Warriors want to split , i doubt they'll drop him. He might just get offered less, they'll probably give him a chance to get form back before shopping him around.
The Dragons and Storm were wearing the Indigenous jerseys because they had bye weeks during the indigenous round. Every team has an indigenous jersey every year, and they will wear them for various things. Indigenous Round, Milestone games for indigenous players sometimes, in memorandium of deceased players etc

The last try for the cowboys game the young 18 year old that scored played in the same competition as me and moved up the the ranks through there he was younger then me so I didn’t get to play against him but he was known for his talent

Newcastle Knights made the second round of the finals series last year after winning 10 games straight they were knocked out by the Warriors playing over in NZ. Most people picked them to be up there again this year but the loss of players like Ponga, Dom Young, Lachlan Fitzgibbon etc. and trying to find a a decent half combination they have really been struggling to find last years form. Andrew Johns had been pushing for the inclusion of Will Price into the halves who they brought over from the English Superleague 7 months ago, up until this game his advice had been ignored and you could see the difference in their attack with his inclusion. Hopefully for Knights supporters they can become more consistent and make the top 8 like they did last year. It was a good win but to put it into perspective Parramatta are on the bottom of the ladder. This was a sellout crowd of over 27,000 In Newcastle even though they were playing a team not going very too well just imagine what the atmosphere is like in that ground when the knights are challenging at the top end of the table.
Newcastle handicap is a betting term giving the underdog the advantage with a positive handicap.
The commentator said," Newmarket handicapper" referring to The Newmarket Handicap, which is a Victoria Racing Club Group 1 Thoroughbred open handicap horse race over a distance of 1200 metres

Broncos are having the fastest downfall, straight after having the fastest glow up after last years grand final, as they got the wooden spoon just 4 years ago. Injuries and the players they lost this year, as well as probably how down they are after the gf last year, its not looking good. Would be crazy if they missed the 8 this year being so far ahead of the comp last year, on par with penrith.
As a tiger's fan i'm not that disappointed in the performance (yeah we were quite bad, and in me writing this im not at all blaming the refs (even if it seems it, we were just straight up outclassed by a better team), we should've lost, but the score line i felt flattered Roosters more than it shouldve and lacked anything in attack - while diverting from what had worked for us against titans and canberra), both sin bins were weak (especially with the match review committee ignoring api's entirely, and for doueihi's 'hip drop' its just a strong hit from the front thats made it bad). Both of Dom young's tries when i looked into them were questionable, his first try he lost it and in my, probably biased view, he lost it within properly regaining it, and the second im 50/50 on whether he actually grounded it, as i saw that he grounded short and was taken over, however in the process of being taken over it does look like he did maybe ground it. And while technically correct, i dislike keary's try, as the ball hits the ground before the kick, classifying it as a drop kick, im not a real fan of it, but i guess if it happened for us i do think i would still complain about the ruling, but take it anyhow.
Overall, i thought it should've been still like 26-6 or 30-6 something around those lines, Benji just needs to revert back to trusting in the kids at Leichardt against Storm (my first game in Sydney for us that im going to ever, as an early 18th birthday present, as I'm from Queensland, and never really adventured down into NSW). No one is probably going to read all this, but i did want to share my opinion of the game, which i feel most will disagree with.
Andrew Voss is very good with Dan Ginnane and Warren Smith not far behind. There is no set commentators for each team

Panthers aren’t good this year without Origin players or in the rain. Expecting them to pick up form when Origin is over.

@@EamonnReacts yeah there are some NRL traders, but they've got three kinds, the normal and the titanium are the same thing but I think you have a bigger chance getting rare cards like autographs in the titanium ones which makes them more expensive, and the rivals i dont know too much about

I was told by most NRL fans that they just call it whatever basically. It's more the Rugby fans that care more about it being referred to as Rugby vs Rugby league.
