The way he was treated was criminal. He caught a cab home and his next door neighbour conman set him up then lied when he didn't take the bait. Everyone in that court knew it. The girl should have been charged as well as the father.
It happens alot, its why you shouldn't trust women.
All drama aside. The era where Billy Slater, Jarrod Hayne, and Brett Stewart were competing to be the best was a great time to be a footy fan
Also Monticello, Bowen, Hodgson and hunt were out there. Probably only the 90s could compete with that. With peachy, Lockyer, Mullins, brasher, silver, Cleary, O’Davis.
@@troystaunton254 How good was Monticello.
At least Slater never had to go to Court haha
@@weburnitatbothends thats right he just kneed other players them in the back!
I remember watching him when I started watching league. Always gave 100 percent
I forget that he had those 2 years off, and to come back and win the grand final is crazy
He's up there on the try scorers list too, unreal talent underrated player
Most underrated player he was as good as slater
I swear this guy was the best player in the world for 'bout 6 months..
best manly full back since wombat
I think Mathew Ridge was right up there.
@@HenriHattar Nah… Mat couldn’t attack like the others but the man knew how to kick.
I forgot just how good he was. When you look at those stats he was really impressive.
Fall? He just retired
Underrated legendary player
Best nrl content out there at the moment 🎉
It's a one club man. Not a one man club.
Awesome video, snake is one of my favourite players and always seemed to be injured.
But then Turbo came along and maybe he wasn’t that injured after all. 😂
Turbo couldn't shine snakes shoes
@@elcucuy5304 I mean dally M winning turbo on a yearly basis was heading for immortal status but sure dude.
Injuries have cruel Tom and all of us from witnessing greatness.
Brett Stewart had a much better squad than what Turbo is currently running around with.
On his day he was arguably the best fullback to play footy, better then slater. Got himself caught up in some unfortunate events & injuries which hindered his career so therefore never received accolades from a long blossomed career like slater had
I loved Stewart as a kid, not even a manly fan but he was my favourite player
He had speed to burn 🔥 🔥 🔥 was awesome to watch in his prime
NRL had a bad run there for a while.. whoever they made the face of the game they'd fuck up instantly.
This dude was a diabetic type 1. Do some research and will
Understand how hard it would be to be a professional athlete and being a diabetic
My favorite fullback ❤❤
I don’t think the term is “one man club” it should be “one club man”
Great story, however, could you please stop saying 'one player club' instead of 'one club player'? Thanks
My favourite player growing up
Manly lost to the Sydney rooster referees in 13 just like the raiders in 19
Exactly
Nick off!😂😅
rise and fall?? seriously...??
Mate, you have to do Greg Inglis! Please?
the highlight should be , he was born in NSW
@@kinchegayowie6167Not how origin works, lmao.
@@gSWG3R who said anything about origin, he was born in NSW, same as Billy Moore
And he glassed his misso
Not much of a fall. Had a great career, a little bit of personal use cocaine as a retired athlete turned restaurant owner isnt exactly out of the norm.
No way closer to Slatter. Slatter is miles away.
In the rear view,Slater made the ordinary look extraordinary,Snake made the extraordinary look ordinary, also he could defend
Slater had no where near the same skills
*Slater 💀
I know right
He got falsely accused of SA and clowns decided to believe all women instead of facts.
Hate the headlines, Rise n fall. He never fell. The nrl n scammers pushed him. A bloody manly legend
Amazing video mate! Thanka for listening to the suggestion. Always has been my idol and favourite player. If your after ideas for the next one, I reakon Gregg Bird could be a good one. The NRL's biggest grub and enforcer. A lot of dramas with his mrs too.
Great work enjoyed watching this very much and he was a brilliant fullback id say he was definitely one of the best we have seen so far
Hardly a ‘fall’
Great fullback man!!
Dodgy eyes
Called the snake for a reason
Where… where was the fall!!?!!
Fall?? This guy had a sterling career. No fall for him
One man club player…
Awesome mate thanks for doing this hope your channel gets more traction underrated
He wasn't drunk, that ended up being yet another lie,he looked like shit because of dropped sugar levels it ended up being
If you want to know the truth you should look up the news article "Sins of the father" by the SMH,which you quoted but reading the whole thing is something else entirely
Absolutely disgusting
Haha yes the SMH quality right there bahahaha
Was always cool to watch him play
Shtewert played for Ashtraya ...shtruth old son 😂
Brett played for the Illawarra Steelers, so did his brother. The Steelers wanted to sign him and not his brother, so they left, Manly said we'll take you and your brother.
There are so many NRL players involved in domestic violence, assault, drugs, and criminal ties to outlaw gangs. Sad.
Just one of hundreds like him.. nrl is full of off field drama. Theres one in every club. What a shame, great player.
What happened to his brother.
Hate Manly with a passion but hell he was in the top 10 players ever for mine and I’ve seen plenty of
How unbelievable was his strike rate at Brookie omg incredible
This isn’t a rise and fall, probably owns more than the person, commenting , win a grand final in 2011( after the courtroom lies he endured and the media lies ) drug possession is only a minor missed, let’s remember no government funded rehabs
Anyone know if theirs any truth to that claim of him being the dad of forans kid
False
I heard one manly player is the father of forans kid
Legend player
Edit
It’s (One Club Man)
There was no fall without these knee issues he would be talked about like slater
Love all your videos.
Do one for Will Hopoate
There's a movie. Crouching Tiger Hidden Finger.
Do one of semi radradra
Legendary 🏆 Fullback....
I hate that when shite is thrown at the wall, some sticks. unfair
Manly was not a one man club!!!!!!!!!!!!👿👿
Why is your channel called sideline rugby when all your videos are about rugby league 😂😂😂
Who tf calls it rugby
Great Player. Great vedio.
Drugs, and gets away with it
Mr Mitchell, is far bigger & more impotent than the entire balance of the NSW Origin side. By contrast every member of QLD’s representative Origin team, take a very modest and proactive approach to the next game, in every series and the set of unique challenges, that, that game throws their way. Which approach honours the great game of League and which one doesn’t?
Why is his drug use used to slander him? He like everyone else should be ALLOWED to use whatever drug they want as long as they hurt no one or their property.
@elcucuy5304 slater was a better passer and support player as a full back. I agree that Brett had a better strike rate because of his finishing ability.
He is the father of one of Kieran Foran’s kids, did the dirty with his missus. That’s why Foran flew off the rails for a bit
That's a false rumor mate.
@@89kilemal mate played with them
at manly. Besides actual paternity test to prove otherwise it’s very true
Rusty Packer please. Interesting story and guy
Love this type of videos. You just gained a subscriber🤙
The title of the story in the paper is “The sins of the father”. Pretty sure you should still be able to google it.
I wanted to play Rugby League just like him when I grew up, he was a talent and a half!
I actually didn't hear about the Cocaine incident lol
I heard he owned a restaurant in Melbourne, is this true.
Russell packer got an interesting story bro
* one club man…..
In which he was a part owner in...
More videos please, love your comtent
great vid
Nice vid lad! Keep it up
The greatest fullback of the modern era, was better then slater at his peak
cmon bruh noway
@@superfly1757 he was mate
@@elcucuy5304AAAAAAAHAHAHA NAH MATE!!!
Jarryd Hayne was better
That’s a stretch
Only one neg comment, why the Sideline Rugby, are you covering both feet ?
Lost to Melbourne in the 2007 GF??
Whats wrong you poeple?!?
