Roti Taew Nam (โรตีแถวน้ำ) - First up on this Thai street food tour in Phuket, you’ll need to start your morning off right - and that means some of the greatest egg roti ever. Roti Taew Nam (โรตีแถวน้ำ) is a legendary spot, serving some of the crispiest roti you’ll ever have, along with a variety of Southern Thai curries. It’s incredibly delicious. Total price - 320 THB ($10.64) for everything
Chuan Chim (ชวนชิม) - Next up for an early lunch we’re going to eat at Chuan Chim (ชวนชิม), a restaurant that serves stir fried dishes made to order. It’s a type of restaurant where you can order and Thai or Thai Chinese dish, and it will be delicious. One of their signature dishes is their pad kaprao - your choice of meat with holy basil. What blew me away is how “wok” smoky every dish is. Total price - 360 THB ($11.97) for everything
Go La Hokkien Fried Noodle โกลา หมี่ฮกเกี้ยน (เจ้าเก่า) - A Thai Chinese noodle dish classic that you’ll find in Southern Thailand as well as Malaysia and Singapore is Hokkien mee. Go La Hokkien Fried Noodle โกลา หมี่ฮกเกี้ยน (เจ้าเก่า) is a legendary spot and has perfected their recipes - the reason why they are rightfully included in the Thai street food Michelin Guide. O Tao Bang Niao (โอวต้าว บางเหนียว) - Finally to finish this Thai street food tour in Phuket, we’re going to O Tao Bang Niao (โอวต้าว บางเหนียว) to eat a dish called o tao, a Phuket speciality of seafood, batter, cubes of taro, garlic, chili, and plenty of lard to make things crispy. It’s kind of like a Phuket special version of an oyster omelet. It’s honestly not my favorite thing to eat in Phuket, but it’s something you should try because it’s only available in Phuket. Mark has the best job in the world,he gets to travel all over the world seeing new cities experiencing new cultures and traditions with his beloved wife and son always by his side.whats more he gets to taste the tastiest foods everywhere he goes.
The fact that some food vendors are up in their 70's and 80's...still standing all day in the heat, moving constantly is amazing to me. So many Americans are 'soft' compared to other countries residents. Plus we are so wasteful. Seeing other cultures is a true education. Thank you Mark, Ying and Micah

I lived in Thailand for 6yrs and you are absolutely rite! I love the pork basil, garlic and chilli stir fry, this is always my go to dish almost every day, the smell the taste amazing 🤩 it has everything you need to set you up or comfort you for the day, runny egg is a must but you have to eat it quickly before the egg cook’s on top of the meal but awesome nevertheless.
I want to send my love and blessings to ying and Mika, they are beautiful and wonderful, what a happy boy you are both blessed with and the life lessons you have taught him from different food and cultures is priceless which I am also trying to teach my little boy of 9yr.
Well done mark and full respect for all your efforts as a working man and most importantly a husband and a father. Keep going and god be with you and your family always.👍😘🙏

That breakfast looks great. I absolutely love Roti (Canai) and Murtabak, and that Roti place in Phuket seems really amazing. I wish I could eat some of that right now.
I commented after just seeing the breakfast place. Now I am seeing lunch, and it also looks so delicious. Pad Krapao and Tom Yam Goong, two of my favorites. I so much want to travel to Thailand very very soon. Thanks a lot Mark for sharing and for making virtual travel to Thailand possible.
