- Shrimp Ceviche is so refreshing and easy to make. All of the ingredients are designed to pack a wallop of nutrition and explode with flavor. It’s got Onions, Peppers, Tomatoes, Avocado, Cucumber and a list of other seasoning’s and ingredients you’re going to love. You can serve this with chips, eat it plain as a salad, serve as a Tostada or, my favorite, as a Cocktail in a glass with Clamato! Read More... poormansgourmet...

Found you today. Good stuff. Ceviche in clamato. Gonna be epic.
It's really tasty 🍻
I'd never heard of this dish until now, but I gotta try this!
Really? Oh it's the bomb... so refreshing, you'll love it!
I am addicted to your channel...
brownsuga504 Me too! ;-) What do you like best about it?
I love the fact your ingredients can be found in my kitchen at any given time...I'm from New Orleans and you do my kind of cooking...with lots flavor
brownsuga504 That's definitely one of my main goals for most recipes; some recipes, however, do require some special buying and that's often unavoidable but for me it makes the cooking that much funner! Thanks for your input and for watching.
you had me at Clamato! mmmmmmm
+Liz 2100 B Yeah it really steps it up!
Looks awesome and taste amazing... great job amigo..
Supremacy is KING!!! 💪🍻
Looks delicious! And so easy to make, thank you.
you're sure welcome! Be sure to subscribe if you haven't already.
Looking great! I would have used some of that precious lemon lime juice in the veggies. Flavour and make sure that avocado stays bright green.
Not finding the recipes. Great looks so good. Love Ceviche !!!
linda parker It really isn't difficult. Just type the name of the recipe, "Shrimp Ceviche", in the search bar on my web page and it will pop right up. poormansgourmetkitchen.com/shrimp-ceviche-ceviche-de-camaron.html
Very healthy
...and delicious! ;-)
Thanks for Watching, Avinash!
nomnomnom. Looks perfect!
Britt Sivate Especially as a Cocktail with that Clamato! ;-)
im back, i made this exactly as shown ,it was delicious
+puffalump76 I knew you'd love it. Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have a ton of haters that think the shrimp should be cooked in lime only. But in my opinion this is much more savory to eat because the shrimp isn't pasty like it would be cooked in just citrus. ;-)
Thanks mate.
From a stoned 19 year old I salute you
+MissionForDays96 No problem
+MissionForDays96 nice

+Elenatrix Yeah I use to get it off a food truck like that and loved it so I thought I'd share.
I put a little ketchup and jalapeno and avocado on the side

Thanks for this video. I've never made ceviche before but you made it seem so easy so I'm going to give it a try. =)
+Daniela Manzanares This is one of those recipes that is just so fresh it is refreshing!
I love ceviche but have never made it with shrimp and this looks so freaking delicious! Really glad I found your channel dude. :-)
+Nigelxman You're going to love it, I swear!
I believe you! Thank so much. :-)
you suppose to cook the shrimp in lime juice but looks good
+Shakeel Robinson Yes, that's right... but unlike fish, shrimp turns into a strange and funny texture, with lime juice only, that most people won't stomach that easy if they're not used to traditional ceviche. Cooking it this way will help average people make the adjustment. Besides, It's still really good this way!
+Poor Man's Gourmet Kitchen exactly , i dislike the texture of the shrimp cooked in lemon only so i appreciate this recipe .i think its perfect thank you

You're sure welcome!
Looks so good and yummy could i use spicy v8 instead of the other juice?
Yes
wot about cocktail sauce instead and sprinkle of chopped mint
You can add what ever you like! ;-)
If you marinate it longer will it over cook it or make the shrimp tuff? I want to make ahead in the morning for an evening party
Just don't mix in the lime until you're ready to go.
How long did you boil the shrimp ?
Like I said in the video, they were steamed, literally, for just one minute.
Lime juice is the base of the ceviche, should keep it in the final product
Juan Camilo Oviedo Right you are! The reason why I don't is because it continues to cook the shrimp until it turns into that rubbery texture, and I usually make so much there's left overs for the fridge and this just goes to shit over night in there if I leave it in.
What about a little bit of garlic?
You're welcome to put some in there but it isn't normally done.
you leave in the lime juice thats what makes it ceviche and the shrimps are raw you let the lime sort of cook the shrimp just a heads up
Yes Regina, you are correct. That is how it is normally done. So why did I do it this way?
That's a shrimp cocktail..lol
Right??
But check this out: ua-cam.com/video/JzPYQ-FiLAo/v-deo.html
this is so food porn like wow
And that's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it!
i couldnt agree much more xd
This isn't how you make authentic Mexican ceviche smh
Lol, no one said it was authentic, let alone Mexican.
duh, if you new what you were talking about you wouldn't be watching "how to" recipes to make Ceviche!
