I try to visit FL twice a year and what I’ve noticed is that at a certain time of the year there are more seashells of a certain types on the beach than at other times. Apple Murex and Lace Murex are definitely on my list of favorite seashells.
30a is definitely not known for its shelling. I found a baby ear and a cockle shell 1 day. And that's about it. Every once in awhile someone has a good day but that's few and far between. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great week.
@BeachBumminDad Thanks for the info! We were on our way home from a very bountiful Sanibel shelling haul including JUNOMIA (missing a piece..but still wonderful)...so we weren't too disappointed with Santa Rosa...absolutely beautiful water and sand!!

We were at Santa Rosa Beach recently. I was amazed at the lack of shells!! A few coquinas here and there..but that was it!!
