Incredible! Loved all the shots showing the contrasting scenes of the snow and the water. Awesome finds with those sand dollars too. Thank you for braving the sketchy roads to share this jaw dropping event event with us!!
Thanks for watching. Growing up in the Midwest I've seen snowy roads , however, this was a whole new level. Have a great week. Btw, today's video includes a snowball fight on the beach. Whoda thought. 🤯
As a native Pensacola, I am astonished to see that much snow! We here in Tennessee got a few inches, but we're used to it! Of course, do remember that East Tennessee, where I live, suffered unbelievable damage from Hurricane Helene. Many people are still living in tents in near zero temps and sub zero wind chills! Weird!
I know it is terribly cold down there but the water is so beautiful ! Stay safe and hopefully it will warm up for y’all too. ( frozen sand dollar, who would have thought ?? ) 🤔😊
Amazing! I’m dreaming of shelling in Florida one day but not in the snow, we have enough here in Canada 😂 I’m wondering, is the water very cold too? I guess it depends if it’s shallow or not
It definitely was pretty awesome. Still can't believe the amount of snow though. Many places throughout the us don't have as much snow as florida does. Lol
You have to warm those shells up slowly or they are going to crack. I do cold water shelling because I am on the east coast in the northern part of the US. And if you bring them into a warm room they will break by the next day. Leave them outside or put them in your freezer and transfer them to your fridge them to room temp.
@BeachBumminDad Exactly. Some have to travel due to their work. Other folks don't need to be putting them at risk. The same thing happens in areas used to snow (I'm in Canada). Too many people won't wait for the road conditions to be safe, so emergency services and tow truck operators have to go rescue them. At least most vehicles here have winter tires on that give better traction as opposed to vehicles in areas where tires for cold temperatures and snow are never needed.
Thanks for watching. Since it was in the teens, if it wasn't hatched, I doubt it was viable having been there for hours in freezing temps. When I've returned them to the water they simply float back and with an incoming tide it would be reclaimed by the Gulf anyway.
Wow. Never thought I’d see someone shelling in the snow in Florida. Just amazing

The water was stunningly beautiful and so strange to see ice & snow on those gorgeous beaches. Thanks for taking us along on a fun trip!!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Weird!
I was surprised too. Florida got more snow than many areas further north.
Shelling in the snow. How cool😊
Dust pan as a snow shovel 🧐🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 good haul oh brave one!! 😂🥶
That was my window scraper. I used a garden spade to shovel. I mean, I sold my snowblower when I moved here. 🤣
@ Ooooooh! I use a credit card for ice scraper 🤣🤣🤣 (I heard leaf blower works good! Also leaf rake was pretty productive!) 🌴😂🌴
So AWESOME!
Ikr. Thanks for watching.
So cool that you got to experience this! I agree, it definitely is beautiful. Glad you made it back home safely, you crazy guy! 😂
Thanks! It was quite the experience. 😬
Wow! How crazy was that! I lived in Tallahassee 20+. Yrs and only ever experienced snow flurries once when I was a kid! Stay warm 👍🏼
Unbelievable the amount of snow we got. 7.5 inches here and higher amts in other places. Once in a lifetime experience. Have a great week.

It is beautiful. Not the typical Florida beach day, lol!
You have made my day😂
Good to hear 😊. Thanks for watching.
Having moved to Pensacola from Indiana, I know all about snow! Never thought I'd be shelling in it! Invigorating...
Ikr; craaaaazy.
Crazy!

Thanks for watching. Current water temp is arpund 60F . While I see people going out in the water that's not for this guy. 🥶
I bet you got some great pictures. 😊
You bet! The snow was pretty epic. 😊
Thank you for showing us shelling in the snow. Im from Charleston SC and our bridges are closed so i wont be able to see the beach with snow
Thanks for watching 😊. Hope it warms up for you soon.
That is so pretty to say snow in Florida

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for watching.
Y’all win you got way more snow than Houston area 🤪❄️
Lol. Actually, it seems like there's more snow in Florida than many parts of the US.
I'm in SWFL near Sanibel. No snow but colder than I ever remember
🥶
So strange seeing snow on the sand!!
Ikr. Epically awesome.
That calico scallop was very unusual in colorin!!
Thanks for watching and I hope you're staying warm.
@BeachBumminDad I'm giving it my best shot!
Bet you never expected to shovel snow in Florida.
Aint that the truth. I've had heavy frost on the vehicles several times but never expected a full blown snowstorm 🤯.
The only time I've been to Florida there was ice on the beach in 1996, so this is my norm
Interesting...Can you pick out 6 numbers for me?
Is this your first snow in Florida
Yes, however, I've seen snow from the Arctic to North Carolina. A few yeas ago I missed seeing flurries in Florida by about 4 miles.
It was the coldest it has been here in a while.
No joke.
Sad to see people out driving in unsafe conditions unnecessarily.
Many people were traveling, some were working. I know there were people here on vacation as condos owned by people we know were filled.

i didn't know it can snow in florida!
Thanks for watching. The area saw totals ranging from a few inches to 10+. 🥶
Why didn't you throw the shark egg back in the water to give it a chance?
