I do hair tinsel as part of my business and using micro rings would not be the best way to apply these. There is a specific way to tie these. It makes the knot less visible and doesn’t cause as much tension on the hair.
Im looking to do a few of these on myself and was looking to do it in a similar fashion to how you suggested. Would you be able to/mind explaining how it is that you do it? Thank you in advance!!!

I just put some of these in for the first time yesterday!! I put the tinsel threw the ring and tied it to the ring and put it in. It was easier for me that way doing it myself.
The loop knot was so hard and confusing at times and don't even last long enuf to bother with!! Buuuuut i tooo discovered the way your showing in this video and IT WAS AMAZING and lasted a long time! Only thing i had different was i didn't have the loop one i had like a straight slip loop type tool (it's a kinda tool i think ppl use to crotchet with lol but it worked perfectly) but ty ty ty for the video! Your super cute fun and bubbly and make it so fun to watch your video! Oh and you accent it AMAZING!

Can I suggest not testing if something is heat resistant while it's stuck to your head, as some things can catch fire, not just melt....
Right, gave me anxiety watching it lol. Now someone at home will try it with a high heat and it will act directly ugh
They have ones that are heat proof
Hair tinsel is heat resistent up to 200c or 392f , they don't melt . Just keep that in mind when using heat on your hair tinsel extensions.

With a normal brush it doesnt catch or bull the micro rings out.used to use them for adding color hair for highlights.
Use wide comb or a spread out brush
I had them put it on me earlier, it looks good although I find it hard to properly comb my hair now and style it.

im so confused how were the tinsel shaped before placing them on your head were they looped or knotted?
It looked like they were straight and she just put one end next to her part
I do tape in extensions and I add the tinsel to my tape before I install them. The tinsel doesn’t last as long as the extensions but they are so fun!
