I bought hair tinsel without doing any research on how to install it and I started stressing out but this was the first video I clicked on and it helped so much it’s exactly what I needed
Demonstration was easy to follow, visible using manikin and the instructions were clear for each method. My daughter wants me to put some in her hair. Thank you for this short, instructive video.
I find the easiest way is to attach the Tinsel to bobby pins Then you can just slide them in your hair and then you can use them As many times as you want
for anyone reading this, depending on your hair type the slipknot tinsel method can last up to months. I am a licensed hairdresser if that qualifies for anything. For me the slipknot method lasts in my hair for nearly 5 months, granted with a decent amount of shedding of other tinsel til that point. It depends on your hair type though, for young girls 4-11ish they tend not to last more then a week at most, sometimes a day.
Did you ever put your hair up with the beads in? If so, did they show at all? I put my hair up a lot at work, but I’m struggling to knot it in my own hair 😂
@@ashn99 yes, I have put my hair up with the beads, and mine didn't show... It could be due to where i placed them though... I didn't put them very high up on the top of my head... Maybe a quarter of the way down... I did this because I do straighten my hair and wanted to be able to straighten the hair on top of them without hitting the tinsel (brand I used didn't fair well under a flat iron lol). I think it might depend on the thickness of your hair also....
I've been using the silicone beads but the tinsel always fell out. Now I know to tie the tinsel around the silicone bead before putting them in my hair. Thank you! I can't wait to try it out tomorrow
Thank you so much for this video. Once I was able to prep the bead for adding to the hair having the tinsel tied to the beads made it so much easier to do. I was able to do three teenage girls in a very short time (for me lol). start to finish with consultation, prep (tying the tinsel) and application it was about 2 hours
i used the beads and tied the stencil to it and it was very easy for me to do and i am younger and doing it on myself so by tie ing it made it much easier
I ordered these …. After delivery i was very upset because the way I made knots are not working out and slipping from hair. I felt regret for ordered. But now this video trick is working👍. Thanks for this video it’s very helpful ❤
my loop thing broke so I just licked my hair and it turned out and looked and the same so if you guys don’t have one or it broke, I would recommend just licking it or getting it wet!! but thanks this really helped it looks so cute ❤❤
You're not locking the knot in, that's why it's sliding out. Lock the knot in with the hair and it will only come out when the real strand of hair comes out naturally
How would you wash your hair after using the silicone bead or tape in extension method? I wanna try this but I really wanna know if this will damage my hair or roots at all?
I use tape-ins with hair..as long as u look after yr hair ..use extension brush.no hair productsat the tapes..shampoo is ok but make sure to use. side to side hand scalp washing 👍 no vigorous scrubbin..that goes 4 no exten aswell...soon as the root grows out take them out or u could get knotting so about 3mts and get a tape in glue dissolver it's ..tapes are great 4 me as my hair is so thin (always was)...hope this helpes
I have a few questions Can you shampoo conditioner with these on? Can you use hoot tool such as strightner, curlers on thrm? Wouldnt the silicone clips or tape get stuck to brush while brushing hair?.....someone please answer me before i purchase them.tjanks
You are creating a knot with your own hair and the tinsel. Personally I find it difficult to make it stay too with silky hair types. Try the micro bead option. That's my favorite.
Hi where can I order this off off I was gonna do it Amazon I’m just hesitant , rather use a product ur using thank you I love it also can’t wait to try it 🤗
@@Ginger_AIe it’s not gatekeeping when all the tools are listed on the website that I shared and listed. The Lux tool in the video is universal for install and removal, and the tape will need tape in remover spray. The other just falls out over time.
thank you for the video!! can i ask, does this only look good with straight hair? i have naturally very curly hair and worry it would look strange since the tinsel is straight...

This is super easy.... Your video was great! I did 3 beads with 3 tinsel strands on each in less than 10 mins. Thanks for the helpful video!
So glad this was helpful ❤️

Hello Mirella, we are a hair manufacturer. We also have this hair tinsel. Glad you posted it.
Will definitely be using the bead and the slip knot methods. Thank you!
Wonderful demos and techniques to learn how to install these fashion tinsels. Thanks so much!

Bead method. You rock!
I have the slip knot in my hair now. Its been 3 months. And did not do a row of knots.
Does it come off with conditioner?
Where did you get your tools from, can’t really find one that helps remove it as well as puts it in the hair, is their a kit you recommend
All the tools used were from DonnaBella Hair Website
Just did it this evening awesome tutorial!!!
How do you not accidentally brush the bead?
Can this be done with regular color strands?
What do you mean?

@MirellaManelli oh ok. Yea I liked this, but I don't like the tensel.
Super cute and great tutorial . Thank u
Thank you for watching 🩷
I struggle with the slip knot method
Number 2 is best!! Tried all 3 ways! Number 2 (silicone) last the longest i think, but that's only my opinion 😂
Can you wash and blow dry with the tape method? And about how long does this method last?
Yes you can! It lasts about 6-8 weeks
can i still wash my hair with the beads in?
Yes you can! That's why they last so long this way
How long will the tinsel last with a bead?
Tinsel with the bead can last up to eight weeks before it needs to be moved up
I want to know if the tape sticks to your hair
Yes, that’s how it stays in your hair
How do we use the loop tool 😢 in still so confused.
You stick the hair through the loop, then pull up on the bead. The hair will naturally go inside the bead.
I tried the slip knot way but I find it just slips off my hair immediately..... Idk what I'm doing wrong
You are creating a knot with your own hair and the tinsel. Personally I find it difficult to make it stay too with silky hair types. Try the micro bead option. That's my favorite.
Do u have a class to get certified for these kind of extensions?

How do to remove the tape tinsel?
I explain that in this video ua-cam.com/video/PNisqsn8BEU/v-deo.html
can you apply heat on it after its on your hair? straightening or curling?
Depends what type of tinsel you purchase. Some you can't others you can. Be sure to read description.
Yes but use low heat
would it be possible to make tinsel clip ins? really wwnan try tinsel but I have clip in hair extensions so I figured maybe it’s possible with tinsel!
Yes! You could try sewing them into the clips or using the bead method.
I'm gonna try the first 2
How do i put the bead through the hair
You need a loop tool to loop the hair through it
Hi where can I order this off off I was gonna do it Amazon I’m just hesitant , rather use a product ur using thank you I love it also can’t wait to try it 🤗

How do you remove the tape in extensions without damaging the hair?
I use a tape in remover and gently peel it off using a rat tail.
Hair oil. I have seen vids of it on UA-cam
thank you for the video!! can i ask, does this only look good with straight hair? i have naturally very curly hair and worry it would look strange since the tinsel is straight...
