- I chose not to bring strategies with "Waves Cheese", but for some characters like Webber and Wurt it is not possible, because the mobs prevent the waves, I did not bring strategies for Wx, Woodie and Walter because their skills are not advantageous in this fight and not being original, practically being a Wilson with a different skin in this respective boss. However, if you want to kill the moose Crab King you can attach the boat and kill it by doing the "Waves Cheese".
As we are in Beta this could probably change, as well as some strategies could remain the same, I knew I could make this video quickly so I chose to do it even though Crabking was not fixed due to the small bugs it is having. I wanted to post the video yesterday, but for real life reasons I couldn't do it.

Guys, when I woke up, I realized that I had forgotten that Wigfrid wouldn't have these items before killing Crab King lmao, so I made the right version, I also made a version with Woodie but it's cheese, watch it.

To be fair you can't really use anything unique to woodie for the fight since the transformations can't paddle, so it's just be the same as wilson.

I wanted to try to make it useful but they can't go to the ice platform because they get stuck on the boat, so I would have to summon 4 for the entire fight which would cause me to lose a lot of life and have to take healing items if I'm going to tank some parts, so I opted for using the basic

I wonder if Wormwood can substitute using moon shrooms instead of panflutes. But probably wont be as effective.
I opted for the pan flute because of the bramble husk that would wake them up, I would have the option to move away, but it would waste a lot of time and the crab king would regenerate a considerable amount, sometimes the minions only notice you at the end when the ice breaks then they would still invade your boat, pan flute is superior in this fight

As winona my favorite gem combo is 4 blue and 4 purple plus the pearl. Barrier is easy to kill with the catapults and the minions dont have an obscene amount of health, perfect for the ham bat
for Winona, 8 blues seem perfect to me and just kill him with a catapult
Webber destroyed crab king so much thay that he didnt even spawn a tomporary island

I wonder if you can make a sail + anchor to move towards CK so it always goes in his direction. That way maybe Woodie could use his transformation. Probably bad either way just like malbatross.
I haven't tested it, but if you want to do it this way I believe the best option would be in the style of the video posted in the comments, but it might work, you just have to see how much speed is needed to stay close to Crab King and hope that no wave comes that changes the direction of your boat
Hello, I am attempting your method for Willow, however Bernie keeps jumping off the boat and getting stuck on the ice, where he dies. How do get Bernie to stay on the boat? Many thanks, this video is gold.
It's kind of impossible to control Bernie at this point, he'll try to attack something, be it the claw, crab king or minions, I recommend that when the ice starts to break you use combustion on the minions, then you'll make Bernie come back to the small state by clicking on it or pressing "space" near it, then you go back to your boat and after the ice phase ends you use it again, so there is no risk of it going into an ice boat and dying.
I think it's simply ridiculous that Bernie drowns, instead of floating, like he's a stuffed animal not a rock lol

you can try full green, yellow, red or 4 purple, 1 orange and the rest red, there are many alternatives
Why does Willow get the lunar flame? crab king is a requirement to have that
because normally people just get the skills in the creative, it's very rare to find people who start the skill tree from scratch, but you can do this fight without lunar flame, it still ends very quickly

Am I the only one that cannot put the smaller crabs to sleep?!? I’m playing as Wolfgang and I’ve been unable to put the smaller crabs to sleep. What am I doing wrong?
now purple gems give minions resistance to sleep, I recommend using 1 purple, 1 orange 1 blue and the rest red/yellow/green
While crab king getting a rework is a great thing, I do feel this version is a little too easy, or that it is missing an attack. I really feel like there should be one more attack in his roster idk
I also believe this, Crab King should have an attack that he does himself instead of just spamming minions

no, you can attack normally, set it on fire, freeze it, use weather pain, any damage is currently canceling your healing

Yes, but you would have to tank or dodge, which would make you lose efficiency in this ice phase, which is the phase in which you can do the most damage to Ck, in addition to needing to set fire, freeze or use weather pain on Ck if you want it to he doesn't heal
Do you know if pan flutes are renewable? I know you can get from klaus sack but is there a secret pro method to finding more?

Unfortunately, deconstruction is the way to go, but if you're talking about saving money in a boss rush, the idea is to know how to save more in fights.

technically you can get pan flutes from gifts when sleeping under winters feast trees but it's only a 7% chance and you can only try once every 4 days, not to mention you need the event turned on

The waves hit the merms instead of the boat for some reason i think it's a glitch/bug

exists, your boat will be destroyed in the fight depending on the character you use (due to the damage), so it is cheaper to use grass boat
It was necessary for Warly before the fight with the Crab to throw bags of water from the mosquito at the Crab in order to have several times more damage
yeah my mistake was that Warly did around 174 damage per hit, but you can see how easy it is to do with him

It's really cool, but the biggest problem is that it can't place boats, because in theory the beaver rows, but the impossibility of placing boats ruins everything
@@ameslarii did you know that you can kill crab King as moose? When ice start breaking you can jump on your boat and untransform, then row to crab King and transform again. I killed crab King as woodie and you can try it too (it is hard to do it with Pearl but you can try)

Wouldnt Willow’s shadow affinity be much better? Since crab king is lunar and it just overall gives more damage
In terms of standard damage, yes, but shadow flames don't work as well as lunar flames in this fight due to the high number of minions, and the flames can be used when the waves are pushing you away as well as when you are approaching the phase after the ice to kill claws. However, you can use shadow flames if you destroy the towers with it and then resist the waves, so your shadow flames will only target the Crab King
they should give im back his geyser attack but this time its a wave that goes outwards during his ice summoning, ofc this would only happen if the summoning was taking too long. I think this would prevent such massive cheese as anchoring your boat right next to him with a crap ton of friendly mobs.
I agree. They wanted there to be more dodging with the boat but here its just back and forth as ck pushes you away. Geyser is designed with dodging the boat in mind, same with freeze attack (the perma freeze is dumb, and if they did freeze into geyser thats extra dumb so maybe they shouldnt readd that)

How did you get Willow's Bernie to activate with full sanity?
Willow's hotheaded skill allows bernie to go active when either aligned enemy is near, ck is lunar aligned so he was activated

I feel they could make the little crabs more impactful, rn they can just be put to sleep and by the time they wake the island of ice wouldve just broken and they'd die (i know minion spam is bad design, and worse if he heals after he spams them but panflute being so strong makes them so pathetic)
Panflute already makes almost everything pathetic so it's on brand
@@minegagadoli problem is when it comes to waves of herd mobs, they wake up in a set amount of time after you hit one of them, like dogs, spiders, bq (i dont hate that she wakes up grumble bees, i hate how fast she spams them and making it miserable to fight), while some other fights with minions like afw is more of a 'kill them or he heals', or df with her larvaes being extremely high health and sets you on fire on touching. No other boss can rlly have their minions completely disabled, and i think its fine to make them wake up if their health and numbers arent as high
The minion spam is because he's loaded with purple gems. I think the intention is for you to mix and match gems so none of his abilities or summons get too strong.

change the gems for others, like all yellow, green, red or even blue since you're playing Winona, you can also mix the gems or use half orange and purple. They made an update where minions will receive sleep resistance if they use purple gem

my boy Wx unfortunately doesn't change much, perhaps electrical circuits for the claws and minions, or the speed circuit to gain a little time in the ice phase

@@pzd4k It seems like a good idea to me, but if that happened I would have to make the claw phase last a little longer, as the damage range in the ice phase would be compromised a little.
Watching this video has perplexed me. Why do most of them use ham bats but Maxwell uses a dark sword and dreadstone equipment, probably for shadow tiers but it's not like he has to have that stuff to use duelists. you could give all of them dark swords. Why does Wigfrid get an enlightened crown (a post Crab King requirement) but Wormwood doesn't get access to his Brambleshade armor or Lunar Guardian perks here? Obvs not all characters are built equally but this is just strange
Because after wilson it's already proven to be visble with any character the rest is like exploring character unique ways to kill crab king enlightened crown gives wigfrid her highest dps, wormwood bramble shade isn't gonna do anything to a stationary boss etc etc
@@starboypluto except it does though.... the brambleshade deals an additional 5 planar damage. On top of that they're also not utilizing Lunar Guardian II with the brightshade vines. If you were doing it for highest possible DPS for every character wouldn't you utilize that.
In reality chars holding dark swords can get insane and the output damage doesn't make a difference in fights like this cuz u don't need to fit in burst damage even that being welcome. Hambat is Solid and safe . For Max it has a change cuz he's buffing all the duelists damage wearing shadow gear including weapon. Thats the basics.
Even tho Wigfrid feels weird being already lunar set in a fight that u still in the path to get that gear if Wilson hambat can do the fight he proved the point and from now on showcasing Wig full potential does more for the vid.
If u put effort to understand instead of criticizing u can see that easily.
