40:00 NO. The only way to God is through Jesus Christ. It’s funny how his sentence ends on the 40min mark… The number 40 represents a period of testing, purification, and preparation in the Bible, usually followed by deliverance, new beginnings, or spiritual fulfillment. Whether it’s 40 days or 40 years, this number often marks a critical time of transition, where individuals or groups are called to trust in God and emerge stronger and more aligned with His purpose.
1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.” (NKJV)
This verse highlights how, in the last days, people will be led astray by false teachings and spiritual deceptions. Discernment is KEY in these days.
"Every religion is a way to arrive at God"??? "Different paths"???
Christ is the only way up, and most religions do not recognize Him.
Sometimes different paths lead to a single road
“But you are not to be called 'rabbi,' for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called 'masters,' for you have one master, the Christ” (Matt. 23:8-10).

Learn to grow a thick Catholic skin like Papa Francesco. He hit the ground running with vindictive criticisms flying all around. He stood his ground and allowed God to take control of the rest. Viva Papa Francesco. He came as Francis, to love, love and love again.
Some of this garble from Francis was so disturbing for catholics. His professed belief that religions are like languages to the same one God- is NOT catholic. ITs heresy. Jesus proclaimed "I am the Way the TRuth and the Life" but this pope argues there are different ways. He is NOT catholic and a non catholic as i understand cannot be a pope- he can pretend and confuse but is not actually the pope!
I truly hope His Holiness doesn´t actually mean what he is saying in 39:57, that "every religion is a way to arrive at God" / "tutte le religioni sono camino per arrivare a Dio". I find it very hard to "save" or reconcile such a statement with the Catholic faith and the doctrine of Our Lord, and I don´t mean to judge His Holiness, but that at first glance clearly seems to be an error.
How many of our own suffer persecution and threats to their lives in countries where we are a minority? Deborah Yakubu, a student, was lynched and murdered for a message that read, 'Jesus Christ is the greatest!', after she passed her exams. That is the level of intolerance among youths the world over. And what spurs it? The triumphalistic taunts of people who should know better. I read Francis' message in a rather positive light. It is respectful, non-confrontational, and evokes a tremendous amount of soul-searching. Reminds me of St. Paul at Areopagus where he claimed the unnamed god of the pagans as his own. (Acts 17)
"To the weak, I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some." (1 Co 9:22)
PS Look for the line that Francis emphasised, that there is only 'One God'. Go to the State address he gave, where he made reference directly to Jesus Christ, to the chagrin of many non-believers. The Holy Father is one of the most misunderstood people around, in no small part, because of his very own.
