The Golden Lager is similar to the Blonde Ale and is an easy-drinking, malt-oriented style. It is another summer beer that you absolutely need to add to your collection.
We will walk you through our water profile, grain bill, hop schedule, and yeast strain. We also take you through our brew process, including mashing, mashing out, sparging, the boil, whirlpool, knockout, fermentation, and taste testing.

Great video! How do you take your gravity reading during mash? I’d love to see more information on pressurized fermentation.
Thank you! I pipette a small amount of wort onto a refractometer to take my gravity readings during the mash. The refractometer gives me a measure of BRIX, which I can convert into specific gravity. The next time I brew with the high pressure lager yeast I will make a more in depth video on how I use it!
