Rouge decks were still floundering even if they had access to Baronne. Top tier decks were summoning her with far greater consistency. Don’t underestand the “but my rouge pile needed barrone” sentiment
The argument is that it supports old strategies without having to make archtype-specific monsters. It’s hard to keep old players into the game that won’t let go of their favorite decks. I been okay with generic boss monsters if they aren’t too broken. My issue with the hits is that they did them now because of rarity collection. Savage was crazy in d-link formats but never hit. Tear ended in baronne but never hit. Its only now.
@@MikePhoenixHEROthey should make archetype specific monsters tho? Shouldnt the support of older archetypes be encouraged? Its not a good thing Halq was generic or Verte or Auroradone. I agree that Konami should make good boss monsters for their decks, but my argument is boss monsters can only be so different. If every archetype was given a in-archetype-lock boss monster that had an omni-negate, why not just make a generic one that all can use. @@MikePhoenixHEROthe sad thing is even with baronne most rogue decks stay rogue even if an extra omni helps. If the deck is lacking new support or is fundamentally flawed or both the onmi’s cant fix em.

Tbh Baronne didn’t really need a ban as it really only needed an errata. The reason a lot of people hate it is because it’s an Omni negate that takes generic materials. If it just had a restriction on its summon like needing Fleur Synchron then it would’ve probably dodged the ban list
