Purchased a 2025 Nissan kicks SR all-wheel-drive less than two weeks ago and I’ve already given it a wax job! Gotta take care of my baby. 😉 One thing of note: because of the body segments, it was easy to keep track of what I had waxed versus what needed to be wiped off. Very well thought out design. Plus: when the average selling price for a car with these features can be as high as $48,000, this is a smokin’ deal just north of $31,000 for the premium package.

I was going to pull the trigger on an SV FWD with some package that had upgraded rims and digital display and bigger infotainment for 25k before haggling. We liked it but there were too many quirks we didnt like for the price plus 28ish otd assuming no haggling and add ons and thats quite a bit for it. If you like it and love it I'm glad because it did ride nice and looks great.
Very good vehicle, but only in the lower trims. The value proposition goes down in the higher trims due to the competitors having way more powerful standard, optional, and/or greener powertrains.
Nissan sure did “kick” off their revision in the best way with this new kicks. Went rim the bottom of the barrel to the top of the podium. This in terms of all the features and material parts and quality is the best in the segment. Only the CX-30 from Mazda can outdo this and the Kona.
Hope Nissan can implement the hybrid system from the Civic with the Honda merger. If they can give this 180hp, Nissan will have a winner to compete with the Corolla Cross hybrid and upcoming Cross Trek hybrid.
CVT 😳 economically ,sooner or later, what would be saved on gas will be spent on new, un-repairable and unreliable new CVT , Run for your money and i like the Donuts trick
In the lower trims this is a nice option, but no way I would spend $30,000 and a little more when I could buy a subaru or Mazda. Especially considering resale value

Nissan needs to wake tf up. Their Jatco CVT transmissions are absolute junk. They've proven to be junk year after year and they know it. The only smart thing they did in redesigning the Pathfinder/QX60 was pairing it's workhorse 3.5L V6 with the ZF 8 speed transmission but the remainder of their line up needs to drop that shit CVT and also offer more hybrid models. This is why Nissan is facing financial troubles, they just didn't keep up with the times and demands and became almost insolvent until Honda and Mitsubishi motors decided to help them out.

I bought a 2025 kicks SV premium, I’ve done about 2200 miles since early December getting about 32 avg mpg. I like my car a lot lol

In Canada we still have the old 'Kicks', but the price has gone up so much that it doesn't make any sense

Appears to be a nice little car now. Missing a lot of features, but a decent econobox nonetheless.

I looked at a couple dealers around me, 100 mile radius, and the upper trims get near 35,000. For that price you don't get power seats??
36 inches of rear legroom is the absolute minimum for a family car. The versa note had 40 inches of rear legroom.

They're both good. Much more responsive and linear than CVTs of the past.
