Tomorrow 2000 orcs are marching on the town my D&D players are using as their base. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect soundscape for it. Thank you!
@@blacktemplarbrotherlucius1935 The march track had the entire table stunned in silence while I narrated, you could see fear written on their faces which is rare in my group. The fight itself was kind of a slugfest, too many orcs to keep track of, too many bottlenecks like the gatehouse slowing the fight to a crawl, but the lead up was all I hoped for.
@@Draythur sounds awesome and what I'd expect, a siege battle defending from orcs wpuld absolutely a slog. I'm assuming the party didn't need to fight all 2k orcs but rather a small fraction of it like a hundred or so?
@@blacktemplarbrotherlucius1935 exactly, they fought three waves of progressively more and stronger orcs and trolls defending just one section of the wall (averaging abt. 100 each). They also had NPC militia of the town on their side, but they were not reinforced, so with each wave they had less and less friendlies as losses began to mount and the last wave was actually quite fun bc of this, in spite of how tired we were. Overall an interesting and unique session, but I wouldn't want to do it more than once per campaign.
