He has multiple forms. This was its own separate form there was no face behind it was just armor. Sauron in this signature form was 9-10 feet tall. This clip was during the first age where he was a lieutenant for morgoth. Then he took a fair form during the aftermath of Morgoth defeat right at the beginning of the second age to convince orcs but it didn’t go as planned. But he has many forms just as he has many names

No one is under the armor. It is its own separate physical form. He is 9-10 feet tall in this form and switches forms a lot. The red haired form was one of his other forms . He has many forms. Just as he has many names

Imagin seeing him like that, and moments later he`s looking like you saw him at the beginning of season 2. Still cant believe how it turned out ... This combination of Sound and Visuals was perfection like under Jackson and Howard. Goosebump-Moment.
Well I think this was a perspective of Galadriel. She probably never even knew what he looked like . So that’s just what she interpreted or it’s a flashfoward vision of the future . We do know Adar in season 2 said when he first met Sauron he was “beautiful” and that he offered him wine.
Waiting to see him in this form again is taking all the patience I’ve got. Lol

Hahah yeah. It’s seems this armored form looked different than the one he had at the end of the second age when at the war of alliance. This was one of his signature forms before and during the first age

I had watched the first LOTR on DVD when I was 7 years old back in '02 and I remember being terrified of Sauron, until my kid self took a second look and realized how cool he is. Seeing him in ROP for a brief moment I felt that chill of fear again followed by absolute excitement to see the first movie villain I ever fell in love with <3
