Charging water with Singing Bowl

  • Charging water in a tibetan singing bowl... Water does have a memory, and can be energized... I show this by how the water will respond... Notice howlong it takes to charge it the first time... But after stopping it and starting over, how much faster it picks up the previous vibration... This means the water has got some kind of memory (it holds the influence of vibration) .. Also notice, that once this point is reached, the increase of energy goes much faster after this first charge.
    Have fun watching, and tell me your ideas about his, and what to do with it.

    The bowl is a resonant acoustic cavity. Going round the bowl with the rod causes the bowl to vibrate - like a soundspeaker. Because of the bowl shape, a standing sound wave is created inside it - so there is a standing wave in the water. There is oxygen and other gases dissolved in the water (fish gotta breathe somehow, right?). If there is a standing wave node (lowest pressure area) in the middle of the bowl, gas droplets will gather there. When the gasses gather in the middle, they do so because of the pressure differences created by the standing wave (pressure gradient) - when one stops circling the rod around the bowl, standing wave dies out, the pressure is again more or less uniform in the water - and the gasses from the center diffuse all around, but this process is slower than aggregation by the pressure gradient - thus the next time the water is "energized" with the rod, there is already more gases in the middle to start with... There is no magic, just physics.

      one could argue physics is magic... no? isn't it wondrous enough? life in all it's facets? maybe not magic the way were used to perceiving it. but pretty magical i would say. just like before ONLY a hundred years ago we didn't even have the capacity to harness electricity, or even know what it is - that it's even there. and the prospect of flying through the air with a metal machine would seem like an insane joke to any "rational" human being..... who's to say in another 100, 500, 1000 years our reality won't look like complete and utter magic compared to what we know and think today?? it's funny, most scientists and strictly-science-oriented people are genuinely so smart but it's like they forget how much progress is being made and how things are changing exponentially so fast as time goes by, and we keep learning new things about the world we live in that constantly shatter all our previous perceptions about it, and once we do it's like the attitude of an arrogant child who says "meh, i knew that all along!" kind of, maybe cause it's already when were born. where's the amazement? ... We have such a limited understand of our universe and we think we know so much and it's like were scared or too egotistical to dare to be amazed and admit we know maybe .0001% of the infinite nature of our universe at best. we are after all not even the size of an atom on earth proportionally speaking compared to our relationship with the vastness of the universe or multiverse possibly. it's scientists like carl sagan and richard feynmen who really have a more realistic approach to life, in my opinion, by allowing themselves to be surprised, to know how much they DON'T know. i believe we will continue to be surprised. in the most magical way possible. continuously, and forever if we even last that long ;)
      sorry, didn't mean to go on a rant... it's in my nature to question things, and i can get a little too philosophical sometimes. and really nothing personal. i actually loved your explanation but your last sentence... wtf is magic anyway? lol

    • @adrienperie6119

      Actually it has nothing to do with gasses contained inside the water... You can create these bubbles as long as you want, and the rate at which oxygen and nitrogen dissolve in water isn't fast enough for that much bubbles to be produced constantly... What you're seeing is water evaporating under low pressure, not gasses. And yes, water does have a memory, it has been proven by many crystallisation experiments, different waters generate different crystals depending on what these waters have been in contact with, and that's regardless of chemical composition. Science actually acknowledges that fact through micro cluster research.

Then sing the bowl again, say a prayer of thanks, healing, anything you want and ... Drink. Energized water it is. Much love my friend.

    the observation of this phenomena is called cymatics.
    Sand on a vibrating palte makes a host of patterns (Rosslyn Chapel ) no heating, no gas - just vibrations which can affect cellular behaviour - possibly with healing results - the efficacy of which depend on your outlook and cultural traditions

  • @methinxaweezil
    @methinxaweezil 15 років тому +1

    Yup, just resonant vibration... no "charge" or "memory". As the water vibrates, air is mixed into it, and it will vibrate more easily with with an elevated mix of air. Let it sit for a while, the air will dissipate, and will take longer to vibrate again. Shaking it up in a bottle before you start will "charge" its "memory" exactly the same way. Although imagination is to be applauded, this is basic science. As for its healing properties, a little placebo water is good for you.

    Water can be happy and healthy or sad and sick, I never drink water upset or with negative surroundings, you may not "see it" but it's there, it's as easy as thanking water and saying you love what it does for you. And as far as singing bowls I have 7 of them in all chakra notes, they bring peace to me.

      +June Medeiros well i wake up in the morning i go to the vet clinic we opened with my partner, we treat animals. Before that I used to work for the WAP at the UN in war areas helping animals victim of war , from pets to , animals in zoos to national parks , mostly in the middle east and africa, Now beside the clinic and still with the WAP we open shelters for animals in war areas and also areas which suffered natural disaster, mostly in Japan in the Tohoku Miyagi area and in Nepal With the money we make at the clinic we opened shelters in the UK and hire vet students to work there and homelesses to keep it clean and tidy in exchange for what they get food and their animals treated for free, same for the kids who can't afford to pay the fees but want to have their animals treated when sick or injured, we do it in exchange of the kids helping feeding the pets at the shelters ,
      That brings me peace .
      You make bowls sing , and you think you are contributing to anything, this is tragic , and i am the one with a pic , smoking weed , girl get a freaking life and stop thinking about yourself , drinking water and vibrating bowls is bullshit if the peace you gain is not used to something altruistic .

    I am also a physicist with a PHD in thermo dielectrics from Colombia University (The one in South America not the one in The USA). I have studied this video carefully and have determined that the friction from the stick (or plectum) rubbing on the bowl is generating massive heat to the point where the water is actually boiling. The water is obviously still very hot after boiling the first time and therefore boils quicker with the subsequent rubdowns. There is no "water memory" involved.

    It doesn't claim to boil the water, it says 'charge'. This is the subtle 'structuring' of the water molecules which occurs when it is exposed to coherent vibrations of certain types. Apparently the sound of the Sun is the best one of all, which makes a lot of sense.

  • @SjpielseWolf
    @SjpielseWolf  16 років тому +1

    Yes, its antique... The human body is atleast 75% water... What the sound does to the water is synchronising it to a certain frequency, so it becomes a soundmandala.. Every frequency has got a healing influence. Drinking the water is then basically inserting "healing". But dont forget, the sound also goes thru your body allready by letting it sing. So while you are "playing" you allready are transforming.
    Best Regards

    my hypothesis is, that water does not have memory. but the sound vibrations are still traveling through the water and the pot, as you can see even though the sound is not heard, it is still traveling in a freq. not being picked up by human ears, so when you tap the bowl again you pick up that freq. and vibrate it through the bowl again.

    HHO is the acronym we use for water that has been disassociated into it's basic gases, usually by electrolysys. Some seeing this video have debated whether the "charged" water might behave differently when electrolyzed. Clearly there is a change of state taking place else the water would not resume it's action so quickly on restart.
    How long can the water sit and still restart so quickly? Is it Minutes? Hours? Weeks? Indefinite?

  • @MrIsaacE
    @MrIsaacE 13 років тому

    @nitchkabob yeah just realised you need good speakers or headphones to hear the transition in the first part as the lower frequencies dont come across as well. water molecules lose and gain energy all the time but kinetic energy/heat and polarity are well understood. the mechanism in action here is resonant frequencies, harmonies and feedback states and are very well understood in simple mechanical physics

  • @lubermanl
    @lubermanl 13 років тому

    You add energy and the water appears to do nothing. But it is taking in energy from the vibrations of the bowl. After a certain amount of time it starts bubbling. When it stops bubbling you assume the water has no energy left, but it still has energy, just not enough to bubble. If you let it sit for hours then do it again it wouldn't have any 'memory' because that energy would be lost. Water has surface tension. No bubbles = can't break surface tension, not that it has no energy.

  • @jnberg
    @jnberg 15 років тому

    The singing bowl is very nice. Water doesn't have memory, but you have heated it using the vibrating bowl. If you let the water cool again, then it will take a while to see the bubbles once again. There is no 'charge' in this either, as everything is perfectly electrically neutral. Otherwise, you would have recoiled with a shock. Physics easily explains all of this. : )

    • @joannakale
      @joannakale Рік тому

      I don't believe it's an electrical charge. It is some other form of energy.

  • @SjpielseWolf
    @SjpielseWolf  16 років тому

    Well I'll try to explain :). The bowl is round, and the beater is spun arround it - This starts a vibrational field, energy is equally added to the water. So the water gets pushed by the energy (vibration), and the energy keeps being added. What you see is, that the water gets forced towards the center-beacuse all sides push. The only way for the water to go is UP.And yes, most likely the water pushes out the air first - the oxygen that is in it. That is why the bubbles.Air makes place 4 energy

  • @varshapavitra

    I'm also noticing different effects tones and durations of effect on water. For example if I take a bowl which contains octaves of hydrogen gamma frequency or a bowl with the octaves of schuman resonance. A specially when you drink these different types. I've been flushing the body with specific charged waters and most give almost an instant energy rush through the body and other effect.

  • @sp4zzpp2
    @sp4zzpp2 15 років тому

    Try to put some obstacle into the bowl after the point is reached and you stoped to increase the vibration and try this again. It won't charge this fast again. Because the streams inside (you call it energy - actually it is kinetic energy of the water particles) the fluit will be stoped by the obstacle.

    it indeed is an antique bowl, there are atleast 7 metals used in it, corresponding with the planets. The proportions used of the metals had to do with the "character" of the priest - originally these were offering bowls for priests - and the making of it is (was) an alchemistic process.. Thats why each (ancient)bowl sounds different -because not only diameter, but mostly proportions of the metals differ.

    what you do is make tiny vibrations, and the water still has some of that, even after you touch the bowl to make the sound stop, it just doesn't reach the bubbling stage on its own, but needs to be enhanced some.

  • @SjpielseWolf

    yes, it should work in a crystal bowl as well, as long the vibration stays long enough - and maybe it will work even better in a crystal bowl, since the are much more precisely made with machines. so the frequency should be much more stable in a crystal bowl.
    I myself prefer the imperfectness of things haha, so I can attach to it. Real music to me comes not from the instrument itself - but from what the player/performer puts in it or adds to it - the intention, emotion etc.

    3. show how quickly water retakes vibration.
    4. stop the bowl again, as over.
    5. throw away the first water and fill with a second water from the faucet.

    Perhaps the observable change in the water is due to a cymatic frequency rather than a seeming 'boiling-point' notion. Watching a powder on a plate brought to respective cymatic frequencies (ie. sound as form) has a similar feel to it. Much could be done to divine the nature of the water, prior and post.
    Lastly, the concept of memory, if memory serves applies itself to observable changes due to the application of heat, not sound.

    Water can only hold it's memory for roughly 50 million Nanoseconds. Meaning that within a second of the soundwaves leaving the water, it would no longer retain the memory.
    But, because waves travel so slowly through water, by the time you started charging it again the waves were still in the water, thus less work was needed to recharge.

    well what happends is that the water adapts to the frequency... as the tension builds and the water takes over the frequency of the sound, and the sound increases - the water tries to expand - but cannot go further then the diameter of the bowl - That is why it is forced to move upwards.
    This has nothing to do with H20 in my opinion - this has to do with frequency, and how sound effects energy (matter). It alligns the energy to a certain frequency,egalizing the whole, transforming it naturally

    Its like boiling water. Going from 27 degrees celcius to 100 degrees it starts to boil. You take it off the element it drops in temperature pretty quickly. After a few seconds or a minute it might be at 75 degrees and not boil or look any different from 27 degree water. You put it back on the element and it boils much faster this time. Does water have memory? If you want to call that memory then i guess you could. But its quicker to get from 75 degrees to 100 then from 27 to 100.

    @stjoh004 water can have ionic symmetry after it boils. cool it to the same temperature the water was when heating began the first time and the water will come to a boil sooner than it did originally. Very easy experiment to perform. This must imbue a similar symmetry into the water through resonance.

    It looks like the water boils - and that means steam, pressure, POWER! Obviously there are better ways to produce power than what we're allowed to say.

    @porousorifice I think the bubbles are from cavitation from the sound making a standing wave. The bubbles form at the stand wave node. Looks very similar to how sonoluminescence is done which creates a glowing cavity of air in a completely sealed chamber via soundwaves. It was explored as a possible method of generating fusion. You should youtube sonoluminescence it's pretty cool.

    Water has memory,there is a lot of information about that,scientifically proven is.The molecules of the water change according to what it listens,sees,even picks up our bad or good vibrations.You can find even photographs of this.Dr.Masaru Emoto has done a lot of research on the subject.This is why as well is important where the water we drink comes from.I personally always boil my water first before drinking it in order to change the structure it has and charge it with the energy I prefer.

    @Sons0fLiberty1 i would say you get rehydrated when you drink it. the only this this does, is throw vibrations into the water, it doesnt do anything more to it than that. but then again depending on the metal, you could very well get poisoned by drinking the water too much.

    @oharaaf uh, the evidence he provides would in fact imply what he is saying. The water bubbles faster because he hits the right frequency sooner than he does the first time around. Thus the water is reacting sooner because of the right frequency applied. Are you familiar with Occam's Razor?

    Try floating a magnetized needle on the waters' surface tension (or on a piece of wood) as a compass and see if it still points north while the bowl is vibrating. Also, I'd be interested in seeing what happens if you held a lit match above those bubbles. Are they water vapor, or have you dissociated the hydrogen from the oxygen atoms.

    I am assuming the vibration is causing the Consolidation of air molecules in the water, forming bubbles.
    If this is the case, would'nt eventually the bubbles stop forming due to the Depletion of air in the water?

    Interesting!
    If we read the books of Masaru Emoto,(Messages in the Water) he speaks about changes occurring when certain words are applied to the outside of water containers. The water is frozen and the ice crystal changes shape according to the words applied.
    One wonders that since a human is composed of mostly water, what effect would this have on a sick person.
    Some in the alternative healing community are now saying that illness is the result of a body out of frequency.

  • @SjpielseWolf

    I do not drink from it - since all kinds of metals can let go and might poison your system lol... But if you think about it, you dont need to drink it. human body is 75%water so the sound does not only transform whats in the bowl. It only reveals the transforming quality of sound by making it visible.
    Sound affects all things. it transforms scattered matter to a natural pattern/mandala

    i had some beautiful thoughts going through my mind while I was watching this. Mostly becuase in the vibrating water, it looked to be as if watching the univers changing and taking shape, and on how the univers and all of its things are build up on vibration, i could even begin to lay the words down for a theory on the univers and vibration, with pictures go along with it to illustrate what beeing talked about.

    it's not that the water is "cherged" you just don't give it time to settle. if you notice the water is still moving when you start it up again. it takes a long time for water to settle.

    I have had a theory for years that sounds and even faint energy is absorbed and/or imprinted by wood or other organic material.Noises or spirits/oras/ even apparitions are stored like electrical bytes on a chip.Something must spark a release of this stored up/capacitance type emission of basically a recorded emotion driven energy. Just a few thoughts~
