I’m Ryan Johnson. I run the UA-cam channel Intermittent Fasting with Ryan. I have struggled with my weight my entire life and have followed many yo-yo diet plans and lost weight, only to put it back on. In 2020 I committed to a slow and steady approach with intermittent fasting and have lost the weight and kept it off. I’m Just a regular guy trying to get off of yo-yo diets. Follow me as I cover my journey and my experience with intermittent fasting. I’m no expert. Just trying to figure this stuff out and love sharing the journey.

Honestly Im impressed with how you did this, especially for a first run, great job man! And respect for your OHP strength, 95 for 10 on strict press is no rookie weight for sure

Yes! I knew you'd get into crossfit one day... (Only cuz you look alot like my old crossfit coach)... Lol.. Don't listen to the haters... Crossfit is literally for anyone.. You can scale/modify any particular workout to make it work for you and the coaches there will help with form...and if you don't end up doing it forever, you can take what you learned to whatever kind of fitness you end up getting into after that... But I think you'll like it! 💪👍🏽

I’d love you to expound on that. I’ve always thought Crossfit was a good way to get in a good overall work out… You know me… I’m not dogmatic about anything so I don’t ever think I would be a zealot, but I definitely think it has its time and place.

@@Ryan_Johnson hahahaha I just read the comments you already had and jumped on board 😂 I think it's just internet culture to hate on CrossFit.

I do a powerlifting (with some bodybuilding) workouts and did Crossfit for the first time last week, and it was much tougher than I thought it would be. I had to skip some sets and reduce the number of reps at times and my friend (who is weaker than I am) totally smoked me. I was humbled and felt a bit exposed for my very poor conditioning. My poor performance lit a fire under my ass and compelled me to do more conditioning work.

How did you get your coaching business set up? I recently lost 40 pounds implementing some of your principles and I wanted to start my own coaching business in the future.

When you worked at Publix and showed us “regular folks” how to have a busy life and still have success… man, you were a hero. Very thankful for the old content. Good luck to you.
