I love ALL of Tom Hanks movies and, the Poler Express is an absolutely beautiful, amazing and wonderful movie it's one of my favorite Christmas movies I watch every year. Tom Hanks nails every character. I'm in such Awwww when I watch this movie ❤
I’ve revisited the film twice in recent times! I was 11 years old when it came out in ‘04. It’s one of those Christmas movies where its age is showing a tad bit. But I still find it surreal Tom is playing more than one character. And I had no idea what an innovation I was seeing on that silver screen. Happy Holidays
I love the movie but did wonder why Tom Hanks played so many roles. My reaction: he was brilliant in each role but it eliminated roles for other actors. But, hearing the logic makes sense and I have always found the movie to be magical. So glad it was made!
I actually disagree. I think it hasn't aged all that much as it's stylistic. Remakes are almost never as good as the original. For instance, the Jim Carrey Grinch was epic, but the new animated one sucked.

This movie would have been great if they just cut out all of the people. All the adults and elves look like criminally insane carnies, and none of the kids are likable. Scenery and settings were beautiful, everything else was bad.
Still one of my favorite Christmas films and one of the best films of 2004.
