hi Refika. Thank you for simplified versions of great dishes. Now,when it comes to any soup that uses any kind of pasta,we always cook pasta separately (especially vermicelli). after the pasta is cooked, run it under cod water, leave it for a few minutes than run some olive oil so it doesn't stick. The reason why?. If you cook te pasta with ta soup ,after some time the pasta starts to get soggy, unles you eat it straight away. But what then if you have some soup left. The following day is not eatable. to serve the soup this way,you present the. hot both in one dish and the pasta in another. Than simply serve your self with the pasta(how mosh you like)than ladle the hot broth on top, which is going to reheat the pasta ant it will not be overkooked. any left meal can go in the fridge and all you need to do is reheat the broth and pour it over cold precooked pasta... this is normal in Spain and Asia. Thank you lovely
Turkish chicken soup is, without contest, the very best chicken soup I've ever had in my life! 😍 So rich in flavour, so comforting, and so much fun to prepare.
I make this soup a lot in wintertime, but I use rice or pearl barley as vermicelli/orzo/pasta absorb the liquid very quickly, and the soup becomes very thick and mushy next day.
I am so thankful I discovered your channel! I visited Istanbul earlier this year and fell in love with the people, food and the feeling of the city. Your channel has kept me feeling all of that! Thank you so very much!
Hi Refika, one suggestion for the coriander/parsley. Once one puts the leaves, one should not cook too much. I use the thumb rule, if the heat is on, add only the stems, cook for 2-5 more mins, switch off the heat and immediately add leaves and close the lid.
Mmm so yummy it’s almost like a Mexican tortilla soup we make but with cilantro 😊 Refika when you use parsley I replace it with cilantro I love your recipes thank you
Good morning! I have never eaten a chicken soup like this. How very interesting! I would love to try it 😊 Always lovely to catch one of your videos... just have come to love and appreciate you and your Friends! Blessings ❤
Hi from Tennessee USA. Your chicken soup looks absolutely delicious. I've never made it with any type tomato product. Definitely going to try your recipe.
Looks great. As you mentioned cooking at lesat a part of the boiled chicken with butter adds a different texture and taste. Will try it soon. Thanks for the share.
There must be a million version’s of chicken soup. But there is only one version that I cook. My Mom’s. It is the absolute best. I make it exactly the way she did. I don’t need to alter it or improve it. It is perfect and one of my favorite things she cooked. When people ask what is one of my favorite things to eat I always say “my mom’s chicken soup”! 😊
As soon as autumn arrives I make a huge batch of chicken soup broth for colds and all I have to do is thaw it and add the noodles to feed the sick. Glad to see I add almost everything you do. I’ll add ginger next time.
Can you please please give the exact description of your fissler pressure cooker and the capacity? I have been looking for it for years but all I see are the higher ones. Thank you so much
I saw this method at an Italian UA-cam channel(breaking spagetti). They said it's a traditional recipe that their grandparents made for them when they were kids.
@@helenmenzies9488 No matter if they use chemicals or not. Usually everything should be rinsed, because workers have touched it, even if they wear gloves.
Wah i'll definitely cook this. Soup is called in urdu Yakhni
We call yahni for meat stew 😊 in Türkiye

Shouldn't we rinse the chicken, taken from the package?
In Britain we don't rinse the chicken because they haven't been raised with a lot of chemicals. I would imagine it's the same in turkiye.
