    Can confirm The Old Boston Garden vibes! Torn down September 1995. There were legit support beams blocking certain seats, and they'd still sell out for games. The balcony was so steep, it felt like you were going down the hill on a rollercoaster. I saw Survivor Series 1993 there; my first WWF live event at age 5!

      I can top that, my dad used to take me to the Boston Garden to see Legends like Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, The Wild Samoans, once every month ìn the mid 70s on. I Definitely Know my wrestling I'm 59 been a fan of WWF greats 1974 till today. Used to drink with the wrestlers at brinkleys bar of the old Ramada Inn, always liked the heels.todays entertainers will never measure up to old school Wrestlers of 70s,80s,90s,2000s etc.😊

      @@davidlishin5583 Respect, sir! I was born in ‘88 so the new generation into the attitude era is what I grew up with. Lots of Raw and Smackdown shows at the TD Garden later on. Nothing like seeing it live in an old arena, however.

      I used to always look forward to Celtics games on tv as a kid...the court had that real "wooden" look to it, unlike the other NBA courts.

    Mark you gotta go on Mark's podcast. He's had a lot of BSK members on lately. Would love to see you on there. Talking about old road stories like Godfather did.

    This guy is super likeable and I never really had any interest in his character. His character had "Vince's Idea" written all over it which he disclosed as fact in this shoot. I've listened much longer than I thought I would. Good stuff.

    I feel bad for poor Nelson. Nobody really took this big dude under their wing and brought him up properly. I think if he had a mentor he would have been "safer" in the ring. Now that's both Mark and Nash talking about how he squashed their backs. Damn shame to because i always thought his work was great in the ring. Especially, how agile he was for his size. And that's probably the problem. He didn't realize at times he was 6'7 nearly 500lbs. I mean that's A LOT of humanity coming down on you. It's hard to be delicate but yet i look at Rodney aka Yokozuna and everyone say's he was light as a feather giving his leg drop. But he had his Samoan lineage and training behind him plus more years as a veteran than Nelson.

    It's a shame WWE have for the most part abandoned the Garden. It used to be their home turf.
    Too bad that one guy they released went to work for the Garden and got them to jack up the rental rates.
    Now Barclay's has become their go to place in NYC

    • @almightyironhead25
      @almightyironhead25 2 місяці тому +1

      You want the garden... you gots to pay the price. And you gotta remember this is Manhattan. Unions run that borough. The unions are all over the country, but these guys are in NYC... You can't step foot in the garden without talking to "the union rep" to "iron out business" at "the union hall"... or better known as the bada-bing or sapphires.

      @@noname-ve7wo Former employee who worked at the office. He had direct knowledge on gate revenue.
      WWE released him around a decade ago and he ended up working for Madison Square Garden.
      Since he knew how much profit WWE was making by selling out the Garden, he raised the rental rate for them
