There is one passage of revelation that makes people think it’s Jerusalem (11 :8) because it says that it’s where Jesus was killed, but that’s the two witnesses, which might have nothing to do with Babylon.
@@TasmanianWanderlustyeah, I think that’s the passage I was thinking of. A lot of the 7th Day Adventists are fixated on Rome, and they make some convincing arguments. The description in Revelation doesn’t totally fit though
@@JamieWiseacreSeventh Day Adventists have their own thing going on 😆 their original leaders kept predicting the apocalypse (which obviously never happened) so a lot of their eschatology is engineered to explain away those original problems. They have a massive paranoia about Catholicism, which is why they insist on Babylon being Rome despite the fact that the empire collapsed more than a thousand years ago.
Another fantastic video thank you , the same Fran and Washington observation (7 hills) very interesting, frankly I agree this approach is much more coherent than Rome, that said even if it is Rome I've previously viewed it more as a metaphor, Loving your content please keep it up 🙏god bless
Louisa........ hear me out - what if - we just watched most of it happen - most of the man of sin and his harlot take place right in front of us? I mean, John says he's here twice - and there's two descriptions of his rise to power - Daniel's dual prophecy and John's return via ten kings...... after Satan is cast down. Everybody is looking for the second super-evil version - the return - after Satan is cast down when he rules with ten kings...... hardly anybody is paying attention to the first time he's on the scene. He's restrained the first time - he won't be the second time. But Daniel called him an outsider, uses flattery to gain support, rose up through peaceful means (election), with a small group (minority), but is not given the honor of the kingdom (despised by the majority). Despised because he's described as vial, contemptuous, liar, boaster, narcissist (makes himself great in his own mind), honors those who honor him (quid-pro-quo)..... also described as lawless. Said he'd be quite wealthy - can't cast gold and jewels to your god of strongholds, if you don't have gold and jewels. Said he'd divide the land for a price - Google "divide the land for a price" - websites on the topic of real-estate development come up. Said he'd come from a divided kingdom - consisting of a mixture of peoples (melting pot) - that do not cling to, or intermingle with, one another (racial tensions) - said one side (iron) would consist of peoples from the regions of ancient Rome (European descent) and would be very strong (armed to the teeth) - other side is weak (clay), and almost completely unarmed (by choice) - same nation that modeled it's government directly from the ancient Roman form of government (Representative Republic) - revived Roman empire. ...... by the way - same form of government that would allow someone to be elected with a minority. Paul described the great apostasy, which takes place during his first rise to power - and he made it clear, it's through lies and delusions - this is the first time we are hearing a large percentage of our population described as delusional with conspiracy theories - or a delusional conspiracy filled cult surrounding one man. Paul wouldn't have used the adjective "great", if it wasn't the majority. .... and of course, we've seen a myriad of self-professed prophets uttering the most outrageous blasphemy over the man. By the way - this man at the beginning of his rise to power, had the top religious leadership from the same nation Jesus fulfilled his ministry - study his genealogy to determine if he's linked to David. It's the same group that rejected Jesus, but Jesus warned them they would choose another. It's very clear - they love him - they recently gave him an award, a crown - and they gave him another award, even more recently, with the title "Prince of Peace"...... there's been many signals - many of them consider him as the messiah. And it would make sense - they are looking for a strong, powerful, successful leader - even mentioned, they do not care if he's had multiple sexual problems with women - David and Solomon suffered from the same weakness. So, whether the reference to the harlot is the majority of Christians - or Jews - or both - it's anybody's guess - but it's obvious, he's fooled both of them...... Paul said he'd fool many - except a small remnant. But anyway - Daniel said he'd pitch his tent between the seas in the beautiful land - then come to his end with no one to help him.... AT THAT TIME! Tent, represents a temporary structure, but some translations in the dual prophecy call it a palatial palace - so it's something significant but temporary. This same man erected a significant, yet temporary structure in Jerusalem - on an avenue named after him....... and it seems, we are currently watching him come to his end - right now. What if...... that's where we are currently at in Bible prophecy - and yet so very few actually see it? Daniel called him an outsider - he was, and he brags about it - but you can only be an outsider the first time - he's no longer an outsider - Daniel's description has been fulfilled. The vast majority of Bible prophecy experts seem to have gone down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories - think they have it all figured out - are one step ahead of Satan - via a myriad of make-believe monsters not even mentioned in the Bible: NWO, deep-state, globalists, vaccines...... could go on and on - do you remember the 17th letters delusions? So, of course they do not see it - but that's exactly how Paul described it - Christians in the latter days given over to myths and fables (delusional conspiracy theories). But anyway - I agree with Ken Johnson, Dead Sea Scrolls expert and pretribulation believer - AT THAT TIME in Daniel 12 is what kicks off the 7-year tribulation - the rapture takes place AT THAT TIME. Everything changes in one hour AT THAT TIME - and after that is when Satan is cast down, the ten kings are chosen, the man of sin returns - says it's just given to him the 2nd time - and he can do WHATEVER HE WANTS for 42-months. As, mentioned above - he's restrained the first time - but will not be restrained after AT THAT TIME. And of course, we all know from reading Daniel 12 - when Michael stands up AT THAT TIME, there will be destruction like there's never been and the rapture takes place. Anyway - I am thinking we are literally staring right at AT THAT TIME...... and yet, hardly anyone sees it - exactly the way the Bible describes it. Oh - one more thing. John's original language for the harlot "riding the beast" was sexual in nature...... wasn't telling us she's on top, holding the reigns, in control of the beast - nope, much more graphic, but is never depicted in artistic rendering. The true rendering would show him lying down on his back and her sitting atop him. Basically, John was telling us she's in bed with the man of sin - he ties her directly to the antichrist - she's given her heart to him - he can do no wrong in her eyes - an attack on him is an attack on her. She should have her lamp lit, awaiting the groom - but she's been distracted by a new kid on the block - nobody tells him what to do....... he's the type of guy who would brag openly about sleeping with other men's wives, but now he's in bed with someone else's bride. Just my thoughts........ I am thinking we are right there - right at AT THAT TIME.
The beast that was, is not, and yet is... Maybe it will live and then be killed (was and is not), and then be brought back to 'life' with AI. (And yet is). Technology does make way for a lot of things. 🤔 And it probably is San Francisco, lol.
Technology explains so much about Revelation that nobody could ever figure out before. I’m sure AI will feature somehow, even if it’s just the “image” of the beast. Who knows what people will invent in terms of uploading consciousness into AI as a means of cheating death?
Here's my thoughts...... when the man of sin comes to his end - after pitching his tent in Jerusalem (that has happened) - he will come to his end with no one to help him - we are watching that take place right now. AT THAT TIME - Michael will arise (to cast Satan down) and there will be destruction like never before...... we've been watching the setup for that destruction for a while. AT THAT TIME, those whose names ARE FOUND written in the Book of Life will be saved from the destruction….. RAPTURE! Where else do we read about the Book of Life? Forward to the second apocalypse - John's Revelation - to see what happens after Michael stands up: .... those whose names WERE NOT FOUND written in the Book of Life (LEFT BEHIND) will marvel at the beast who once was (he's already been on the scene for a short time as the 7th head), is not (present tense), but will soon be (RETURNS AS THE 8TH HEAD - ALLOWED TO CONTINUE once Satan is cast down). Those left behind - will marvel at the beast - not those whose names were found written in the Book of Life..... THEY ARE GONE. HE WAS (Daniel's description - that is just finishing up) - IS NOT (present tense) - BUT SOON WILL BE (John's return after Satan is cast down - via ten kings) I believe, AT THAT TIME....... and the rapture......... is next.
Thank you for the clear way you explain my prayers are with you and yours awaiting the next video 🙏 🕊 ❤ 💐

I've always thought it could be Dubai with all it's trade and booming economy, just a thought Louisa?
That’s true. There’s an awful lot of wealth in that city and certainly plenty of towers that reach to heaven.
It could still be Rome itself, or Jerusalem. They’re both 7-mountain cities with significant spiritual centres.
