try chorus part of the cell by gojira
Can you do rosetta stoned?
Rap Lord - Haikaiss
“bring it and bring it,bring bring bring it~“ from Pa pa ya by Babymetal
Leprous - Alleviate, 2:27 mark. Einar has both range and emotion that are out of this world, I would LOVE to see you try it!
Y'all stop challenging him with Cornell; he's gonna ace it every. damn. time.
He's good, but the natural power and control Chris Cornell had was another level
#Facts
seriously, Chris Cornell is exactly his style, come on folks!
@@LRM12o8 shit, he even has the same kinda facial structure as Chris had he sounds a lot like him
He did this pretty well... but this is far from Cornell's hardest vocal line.
I've seen other videos where he tried to do Cornell vocals and didn't even get close... he even admitted it here, that he can't do the higher stuff!
Nailed it with Mudvayne "Under the skin". I always wanted to that for decades.
Chester singing rolling in the deep live at the end of a 2h consert is one of the most impressive things I've ever heard. The sheer control of his voice during it is fantastic. Same goes for Floor Jansen during Ghost love score live, dunno if you can recreate them but I'd love to see you try!
Chester fucking slays rollin in the deep.....
Thanks man, had to look that performance up. It was pretty good. Wish he didnt use that echo distortion though.
You are legally not allowed to pause at the end of GLS
I have tried to do my own cover of that, totally understand what you mean, i can withstand many Chester parts from Linkin Park, but when he sings softer you can really understand his voice in that controlled level
I’ve never heard another RITD cover as fantastic as when Chazzy and Mike did it, theirs was certainly the best and most unique
Being a 17 year old kid who dreams of singing in a Cornell-ish range and recently purchased one of Ken Tamplins vocal courses, always inspires me everytime I watch of your videos. You just fuckin kill it everytime, cheers man.
Do the ending to Pushit by Tool. The "I must persuade you another way" line, into the part where he goes "There's no love in feeeeeaarrr"! That would be awesome. Thanks :)
The grudge 25 second scream
This
YEEEEEESSSS
this one definately.
YES 1000%
We need to put this man and Samus 666 and have them collaborate together
Also 10 outta 10 on the DK rap
yes!
and Bradley Hall too
Samus 666, him and Jared dines or Stevie T
@@hamirandomvidscreatedbynic9131 he already collaborated with Stevie. But well
@@joaquinlezcano2372 ur right. I also forgot that he collabed with Jared dines on his channel for the Ozzy Osbourne video
This dude has got to do "demolisher" by slaughter to prevail (the deep growl part)
@Frenzied Unicorn Productions isn't that the whole point, to be unfair to this dude?
Baba Yaga by Slaughter to Prevail
@SquermanJerman I don't think he can do that deep growl that alex terrible does
@@jonaslowagie I know, that's the point because he says to give him anything and this is damn near impossible unless you're Scandinavian and shit elk 😂
@@squermanjerman5543 I know. It's good idea though I would like to see him try
So cool how you caught Ghostemane's Bone Thugz influence! He's got other great songs that mix rapping and screaming and different flows
Periphery - Satellites.
5.22 - 5.35 high notes.
Start 5.06 for the whole passage.
Spencer Sotelo is a talented singer, he goes up like an angel and down like a wounded ox.
He's also such a good writer man.
@@Composer_with_a_camera He has some pretty damn memorable vocal melodies and his side project King Mothership is really cool
I would love to see him cover the whole song.
Yup. This.
The chorus of “Variations” by Dance Gavin Dance. Specifically Tilian’s part. Fast paced, driving, and a high register. That or the last clean section of Ragnarok by Periphery. That last note is insane.
How comes no one suggest demolisher by slaughter to prevail? The Russian breakdown part with the "demolisher" shout?
I would love to hear him try that
DEMOLISHER, OH
I did on his last video a week ago, but I guess no one saw it.
What you mean "Russian breakdown"? The fuck is that?
@@yaboikiba4302 the breakdown is in Russian for the most part
@@Chip-lf3hz Oooooh... That makes way more sense than what I was thinking about
How about some of Korn's scats, Twist more specifically?
These are awesome, keep up the great work!
He's done these ad nauseum, not even a challenge for our guy Ant anymore 👍🏻
T W I S T
@@Kevin-ne5yq He has? Other than the Never Gonna Give You Up one, I cant remember any. can you send the video(s)?
the idea of even attempting twist is terrifying
@@shmorange Should be a piece a cake if he does some stuff by Diamanda Galas, Yamantaka Eye, and Mike Patton (specifically his Fantomas and Moonchild work). After that, Davis’ stuff would be a lot less intimidating to do 😜
The final run from Alter Bridge - "Words darker than their wings" live at Royal Albert Hall is killer
this a 100%!!
Yes
Yeeeeeeeeeessssss
Something that is actually crazy
I'd love to see this as well as the ending of "Find the Real". I'm still impressed with that one nearly 20 years later.
8:27-9:12 of Pushit by Tool
Maynard is insane bro! Especially that high note during the “I must persuade you another waaaaaaaaayyyyyy”
From the Cradle to Enslave by Cradle of Filth, the parts where Danny Filth goes from a growl to a glass shattering falsetto! So crazy
Suggestion: The part in Run to the Hills where Bruce Dickinson goes through his entire vocal range- then straight into the final chorus (since you asked for runs).
IRON MAIDEN!!!!
Up the irons!!!
Maidennn
Up the irons, that's too easy
Up the irons!
Jesus Christ Pose - Sound Garden... The part where he gets higher and higher with the guitar haha. Such a great song. Chris has such an awesome range. So do you.
There was a song in Eurovision this year from Eden Alene called "set me free" which had the "highest note in Eurovision History" which was a B6 Whistle Note. I have no idea how close you can get to that note, or maybe you'll do it with no issues ;)
Satellites- periphery 5:20-5:35. Love your content and commitment, dude, it’s great to see your face through all these years.
fuuuuck yes
I would love to hear that
that dude sings soooo freaking high right there, I remember the first time my sister heard that part, she wasnt really paying attention and then she was like, wait is that a guy? how high can this dude sing!?
I just control+f-ed in these comments to see if anyone else recommended. I JUST finished leaving a comment and said 5:04 - 5:35, hahah.
Faith no more the world is yours, so much range in this song and flow of it is so good. Would be sick to hear you do it
You've gotta try the run in Chris Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" when he sings "you're as warm as a glass of brandy" in the chorus. That one's pretty hard to nail i'd recon.
That should be easy for our Anthony
@@darrennetaniel easy , yes beautiful also yes
I’ve heard this live. Chris Stapleton can’t even hit it. Honestly so disappointing.
That's too easy for anyone LMAO!
Blood Eagle by Periphery has some really cool high note to scream transitions in the middle. I'd love to hear you sing both of the "a soul descending swiftly" parts
thanks for reminding me how great that song is. Time to listen to Hail Stan for the 100th time again
yes!
Yea
the build up that starts with “so descending swiftly” is brutal on the vocals. and of course the big part right after that. has he don’e any periphery?
Two fun and pretty hard ones you should give a try:
The gathering - on most surfaces (the chorus)
And if you want a fun vocal run:
Lost Horizon - Highlander (The One) -- at roughly 10:35
Exactly 10:30, actually
DragonForce - Last Man Stands, the last note! ;)
Oh god
Dragonforce through the fire and flames. Guitar solo but with his voice 😎
Dozing Green by Dir En Grey, either the run leading from the 2nd verse to the 2nd chorus or the outro screams. If you do the outro go off the live versions, somehow mixes fry screaming with whistle tones (I believe that's what he's doing at least) then flips straight into super deep gutterals
agreed! I always see people requesting Dir en grey. I hope he notices someday :D
The Chorus and backing vocals from Acid Bath's Dr. Suess is Dead come to mind. Plus it displays Daxx's range as a singer.
Avatar - One Touch
I wanna see if you can get that low
Or maybe Towers or their cover of Something in the Way.
You can do any part of these songs because they're all pretty low, then usually go high.
Words darker than their wings by alter bridge, specifically the live Royal albert hall version :) There's a high note in there that Myles was scared of.
That one is pretty amazing, Myles has a great voice. Have you heard this verson of immigrant song with slash?
ua-cam.com/video/60ilRnlk0Jo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MyndKryme
Myles goes for an ending note thats absurdly high, probably the highest I've ever heard from him.
@@ThalesNaujocks I actually haven't seen that one yet, thank you for recommending it!
That's just amazing!
I just posted about this song too. I hope to hear him try it soon!
please do this one
I would absolutely love to see you do the final chorus after the big build up in God Went North by Nothing More. It blows me away every time not even just because of his voice and range but because of the raw emotion he has.
I felt the "Sound of Silence" playing in the background with that stare.
😂
The Gostemane part was so funny xD
How about "Infant Annihilator - Blasphemian" for a challenge?
That "infant annihilator" part at the end
Or the "crawling from the mouth of the abyss". He definitely can't do that.
@@ER-le6oj the gutterals are pretty rough but I think Anthony will figure it out in a couple of seconds :P
Yesssssss please
YES
The bridge in The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars, honestly haven’t seen anyone do it nearly as well as Jared Leto
True. Jared has such an incredible technique to sing like that!
Yeah, it's a pity he doesn't give any effort anymore. I was blown away when I saw them open for Audioslave right after "A Beautiful Lie" came out. Went again a few years ago when they toured with Muse, and Jared made it pretty plain that he didn't give a fuck, barely sang half the show
The Celine Dion gag gets a like. I'd love to see your attempt at Judas Priest's Painkiller (that whole song is rough!) or the really fast part from Fu-Schnickens' "What's Up Doc?" Also, how about Strapping Young Lad "Love?" The line - This love is about controooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
I feel like he did.
Painkiller*
@@angryguy67 I'll have to look.
Anthony, I'd love to see you singing the high note from "Words Darker Than Their Wings - Live at the Royal Albert Hall", from Alter Bridge in those challenges. Myles Kennedy is a beast, and I could recommend so many songs from him, but this one is insane. Furthermore, it would be great to see Alter Bridge as some style in your videos, or some version of "Blackbird - AB".
You rock!!
Ghostmane-Vagabond. From 50 seconds in to the break down, It's not super challenging but I feel you would enjoy it and I want to see your style to it.
His new album slaps
@@Limerick. Hell yeah it does dude, I thought NOISE was great then I heard Anti-Icon
The fact that we got him with the DK Rap is absolutely phenomenal. I half expected the meme DK Rap but this is exceptional.
-1, Death Blooms, Determined, and Dig by Mudvayne.
ESPECIALLY DIG!!!
@@AlmightyFPS yes!
Can't not do Dig if you do Under my skin!
Yeah hes a fucking beast vocalist
Death blooms! I'm coming HOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Beyond the Wheel by Soundgarden!! The power Chris gives those notes in the chorus I've never heard replicated.
My favorite soundgarden song
In "Gimme Shelter", Merry Clayton's impassioned verse post-bridge takes her voice to a whole other register -- an effort that cost the life of her unborn child. Without putting anyone at risk, can you do that with your voice?
Yes! This vocal is insane
it did cost the life of her unborn child?
@@mike04574 The miscarriage itself is not in dispute; there are interviews by her and the Stones to inform opinions on whether performing on the song is to blame. The prevaling narrative is that it is.
I can't remember if you've done throat singing or just talked about it, but I'd love hearing The Hu's cover of Sad but True
Also Ian Gillan's screams in Child in Time. No doubt you'll be able to get the notes, but so far I haven't heard anyone get the same power and emotion in it as Ian.
About a million times yes :)
If u haven't done it yet try to do jinger Pisces where she starts her growl
Ooh
..yeah strong agree I am happy you posted that comment.
I have a good one: "Words Darker Than Their Wings" by Alter Bridge. The last minute or so contains an insane vocal line that gets me every time
Love seeing them mentioned! Such a great group
This.
I'm shocked he hasn't done any Myles Kennedy stuff on this channel. He is undoubtedly the best rock singer of this generation.
@@yasserjamilq8 In this video he showed his vocal transformation. There's a version of Blackbird by Alter Bridge. There's also a video he made with Ken Tamplin. He told that when he was starting to sing he tried to sing Alter Bridge and Soundgarden songs:
ua-cam.com/video/0J4S0bnK_CM/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/p6xCzmAD8U0/v-deo.html
It's a lesser requested Devin song but I'd absolutely love to hear your take on the last chorus of Storm. It starts around 3:20 or so. If you want a more extreme Devy then perhaps Strapping Young Lad's Underneath the Waves - particularly the 2nd half of the first verse. Around 0:34.
Other suggestions would be Leprous - At the Bottom from about 6:20 or so.
Hearing him sing Underneath the Waves would be amazing, but I think starting from the bridge part combined with the final chorus with the high note (Eb5 I think?) and the "underneath the waves" part all together would be the best part to cover.
Him singing The Death of Music starting from the last "the rain will come" to the very end would be amazing as well. His voice would suit a lot of Dev's stuff for sure.
I'd love to hear Oh My Fucking God or the climax of Deconstruction (the song).
Ooooh, haven't heard Anthony take on Leprous yet!
To be fair, entire Devin's and SYL discography could fit there pretty well XD Devin is so hard, if not impossible, to replicate
Shitstorm or the last scream on Exciter
I don't know what needs to happen for you to do a full cover of under my skin that shit was too good man!!!!!
I've got a good one for ya: "Rolling Stone" by Falling In Reverse. both verses. the choruses are easy, and the rapping bit isn't too hard either. it's just the fast paced growling/screaming of the verses that needs a highly skilled vocalist
I think “where have you been” would be a bit tricker
@@DeAdiLLuSioNz I mean, yeah, probably, but honestly, there are a ton of difficult Falling In Reverse songs to sing. Ronnie Radke DO got that insane vocal range tho
I think the fast paced part in Self-Destruct Personality is a probably the hardest, for me at least
@@horkusbork3594 well, for that part, Ronnie has this cool vocal harmony backing his vocals. and then he does it again at the end of the song, but instead of singing regularly, he does this growl/scream thing that he's known for, and I can definitely see how that's difficult.
@@calebrose4607 yeah that growling part is the one I was talking about. I guess I didn't make that too clear. It's just amazing to me how he annunciates so rapidly while screaming like that.
Oh man, I've got a great one, Satellites by Periphery, 5:03, those high notes Spencer hits are just so gorgeous, I love it. If you manage to do this, respect.
2:44-last vocals of the song of billy talent dont need to pretend is hard and done in one go with no stops between it has been used in vocal coaching
Weird Al's "Hardware Store", from " Would you look at all the stuff" to "Matching salt and pepper shakers"
I'm not sure if it's humanly possible to do all of that in one take, but it'd be fun to find out
It sure has a lot of words in it that are NOT easy to pronounce fast... I used to try back in the day when i listened to a lot more Weird Al. "Trailer hitch demagnetizers, automatic circumcisers..."
Blood From Above by Stryper, at the end when he hits the super high notes.
Dude, you are one hell of a vocalist. Awesome vid as always
That scream before the breakdown/solo in Marigold by Periphery
“I guess I’ll just leave things the way they are”
That was the Song that got me into periphery!
7:50 been drumming for a decade and that is absolutely true. I am grateful to finally have a some moments where I just flow while playing polyrhythms that used to break my brain
Also a drummer. This feeling is why I love playing stoner metal and doom metal. You're just grooving through some tough parts and it's fantastic.
Wintersun-Starchild (the building the universe without walls part)
Try the deep part of Demolisher by Slaughter to Prevail. You'll know if you hear it
Deep part you mean breakdown 😂
It's in Russian mate no way he could do that
@@uwgavin3416 it's the build up to the breakdown...
the fucking cringe
@@ea6442 ?
Words Darker Than Their Wings by Alter Bridge. Towards the end…Live at the Royal Albert Hall version is the best. Good luck!
Incredibly talented. Would really luv a full acapella run from you with different voices. With just light guitar or piano. To fully hear those intense vocals. Keep bringing it!!
I feel like you would actually like ghostmane, especially his newer stuff too. Definitely has metal influence, he used to be in a metal band before rapping
Do you know what his band's name was?
@@jpbostonian pretty sure it was Geocide
@@jpbostonian he was a guitarist
Hello you very handsome Knight

@@jpbostonian he was a guitarist in nemesis
I've never heard anyone nailing this - especially with a nice vibrato also =>The 2 ending notes of "The Secret of Steel" (Manowar)... Nice pitch, length and delivery there and a high vocal run!
Try "Vinnie - Screaming Headless Torsos" the singer makes squeaks and fast vocal slides upwards
In the song “Truly Random Code” by A Lot Like Birds, from “Every skipped stone” to the last “we don’t know”
It’s screamed alliterations, and based on the editing it doesn’t seem like Cory (vocalist) did it in one take. Can you?
As far as runs go, the ending of “Kingdom” by Devin Townsend from live at EMGtv has a fun sounding one
damn this my favorite ALLB song
i hope he sees your comment
Best vocal run of all time, bet you cant beat it!
"Tennessee Whiskey"
LD 50 was the album that turned me on to metal. ID LOVE TO SEE YOU RE DO THE WHOLE ALBUM. IN DEDICATION OF THEIR REUNION. BTW.... you absolutely pulled off the Chad blab rap like an ACE!! If you didn't have so much will to go out of your comfort zone 2 vocally challenged yourself whether it's physically or mentally you most likely would have never discovered your amazing talent that you have for vocally expressing yourself. so thank you for doing what you do... I know that it will inspire many others to do the same. I DIG IT!!!!!! 🤘🤨🤘
The last part of shadow on the sun is amazing tho
Some more challenging suggestions:
The Mars Volta - Tetragrammaton (the part at 5:10)
Woomera - Rebirth II: The Tide (at 7:25)
clipping. - Nothing is Safe (the chorus)
Yes some mars volta would be nice :)
It's a handy four syllables.
.
Igorrr - IueD. First "verse".
Please do anything Nekrogoblikon! My top 3 would be "We Need a Gimmick", ""No One Survives", or "Darkness"
I didn't know anyone else even knows of that band
No one survives! Love that song
he should do row lol
@@richardb8157 I've only known about them for a couple months. It was just playing in this local video game store and I struck up a conversation with the guy about it, and now I've just been obsessed with them
@@richardb8157 a handful more than you expected :>
You keep a bit of Chris Cornell alive for me, thank you
Got a few;
From Musical Theatre: The High G "Why should I die" of Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar (Drew Sarich, Steve Balsamo and Ian Gillan are my favourites to go off of)
From Opera: It's gotta be the three "Vincero" parts right at the end of Nessun Dorma. I know it's a stereotypical Opera song but if you can get close to Pavarotti I will be impressed!
From Rock: Gimme the Prize by Queen, first verse into first chorus or last verse into last chorus. Everyone says it's the high notes from Bohemian Rhapsody or Under Pressure. No, THIS is a hard Queen song.
From Metal: Straight from the Sun by Lamb of God. Kind of the whole thing really, pick your part. I don't feel like you've been asked to do much Lamb of God compared to other metal bands so here you are. Sing Monkey (this instruction is applicable to all of the above)
Anthony, you literally made my week.
good.
I reckon you'd struggle with the chorus of Birth Ritual by Soundgarden (as anyone would) but I'd love to see it
I'd also love to hear house of the rising sun in your voice!
Ressurection #9 (ending screams) by Burn The Priest (now Lamb Of God)
Your screams sound incredible! I would kill to have that power!
Also the DK Rap is a fun intro song to Donkey Kong 64 from 1999 on the N64.
Also also, my challenge to you is to do the low note to high scream at the last chorus of HIM's "Ode to Solitude"
I don't like Celine Dion, but I would listen to this version any day 😅
My exact thought. Fucking killed it.
damn, you really nailed Under My Skin...
Here's my recommendation: Gojira - Blow Me Away You(niverse), starting 0:38, where Joe Duplantier does these wicked high shrieks.
Proceeds to absolutely murder another Cornell vocal.
So impressive my friend 👏
I'd like to see you try to hit the high note at the end of Words Darker Than Their Wings by Alter Bridge. Myles Kennedy's vocals on that song are Incredible!
The Mudvayne was sick as hell.
Periphery - Absolomb 1:45-2:03
or
Periphery - Lune the vocal run in the lead and backing vocals at 3:56-4:09; and the falsettos at 5:04-5:18
Dude thank you so much for being a musical inspiration to me!🤘
I love Anthony. I never saw a person do videos so dynamics than him.
Weird Al's Hardware Store. The item list part, from "They've got..." to the end, in only one breath. No way you can do it
I would love to see him do the last chorus in “She’s Gone” by Steelheart.
oh yes
YES
You should do 'We Go Together' from 'Grease'! I was in a high school production as the choir. That song took us 3 weeks to get right. Even when we sang it live, we still messed up a bit. Good luck! :)
Pain of Salvation: Reconcillation, the outro part where Daniel hits the high notes all the way from the buildup.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
God i loved this band so much as a teen.... still love their first couple of albums..... just such unique stuff
Tbf my vote is for that ridiculous passage in The Big Machine. You know the one I mean ;)

We se a lot of actors and actresses' bloopers out there, but music recording bloopers are fucking hilarious.
It's a really wild experience to feel yourself lose a bit of sanity every time a take goes wrong.
"All By Myself" - Celine Dion (the "don't wanna live by myself by myself anymore" part and so on)
"Into the Unknown" - Idina Menzel (chorus)
"Hush Hush Hush Hush" - The Pussycat Dolls (the long thing at the ending)
"Something Stupid" - Frank and Nancy Sinatra (Nancy's part)
"Doo Wop (That Thing)" - Lauryn Hill (the part after the first chorus)
Since you asked for some runs, The Scourge by Periphery has some pretty damn cool stuff from 0:50 onwards. And then in the same song, you HAVE to try the part from 3:29. I wanna see you pull these off
I have a challenge: Sing Demolisher by Slaughter to Prevail
or Baba Yaga
Oh yeah, that one he has no chance, is just out of his range
@@ralmslb Honestly yea. New wave of dedicated vocalist are doing some crazy shit.
I don't think he's gonna. There has been numerous comments asking for it on all of his challenge videos. He has to have seen it by now.
@@ericlenhart6343 I guess at some point he might just respond saying that it's too low and that people should stop asking about it
Can you do Linkin Park - Faint (Live at Rock Am Ring 2007) the Screams Chester does at the end of the song.
Please post old videos of you singing and the progression you've went through! Its inspiring!
I would love to hear you sing the " You've claimed that you would die for me " part (6:34) from TOOL - Eulogy, not beacause it's hard to sing but the rhythm is kinda tricky and it sounds amazing.
Definitely! It would be cool to hear him do the ending to Pushit as well
I thoroughly enjoyed the Mudvayne bit!
Spiders by Soad could be nice to try! I think you know which part. :)
I’d love to see you try the final scream in Things Beyond Things by Devin Townsend
You mean the reason I can't fall asleep to Ocean Machine? lol
Such a good song!
The second half of the Mudvayne bit gave me heavy “Coalesce - You can’t kill us all” Vibes.
I didn't think you had it in you with the "sounds of my mother telling me she's proud of me," but you nailed it. Good job. Lol
A Perfect Circle - By and Down. The run right in the beginning of that song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Or Maynard's 24 second long scream in The Grudge by Tool.
Because Maynard is incredible.
MooOOooOOooOOvvvin in n out of the shaaddooooows
@@Necrosythe2 Love it.
Dream Theatre was a shock to me, I guess eventually someone was hoping to ask you to do your best James LeBrie. Not bad. Metropolis 1 is an absolute banger though.
I was hoping it was going to be the live in Tokyo version!
I've been wanting him to sing Take The Time for ages! You know the part
Or Innocence Faded high part: "Condescending, not intending to EEEEEEEEENNNDDDD"
From the first song feel the Chris Cornell style fits your voice pretty well man
For an Aussie vibe try 5 years of silence, by sunk loto, especially from 2:22
The end of Root and the second chorus of Digital Bath by The Deftones.
