Actually I don't really know why Peniel is in BTOB? I know he's cute, funny, kind but his parts in BTOB's songs are really short. Most of them are in English. Until now, he still sing the least part, he isn't a visual, center, face of the group. Why Cube let him debut in Btob? They could let him train for a few years and then let him debut in another group because in Btob, the rappers like Minhyuk and Ilhoon are doing their jobs very good. I'm not a hater tbh

tk c-clown was supposed to be in btob as a rapper but due to some health issue, he wasnt able to debut & they gave his place to peniel =( but still peniel grew with btob so we shud support him too
When BTOB debuted, Peniel wasn't fluent in Korean that time. Like what you've said they only give him short lines and most of the time in English, maybe because it is where Peniel is more comfortable. Btw, he's one of the visuals (together with Sungjae and Minhyuk). Try to search for their rookie days vids and you'll see how BTOB rank their visuals ;) So, look at Peniel now he actually improved A LOT! And Cube let him debut because he deserved it. Without Peniel there's no BTOB. :)
