In their documentary or behind the scenes video on Steam, which is free, one of the 4 devs said that if you look at one frame of Paul Baverstock aka Jeremy Donaldson, it is normal but at another frame, he is pale ghost white, for example still shot at 2:25 and at 9:27. This was because at the time of filming the sun starting going through the window that is right above the camera because Paul forgot to cover the window. Also, they had to send mics, cams, and other equipment to each of the actors. Thankfully they were able to do what they can and provide an amazing story.
Much of this was actually filmed in the actors' real life homes. Megan's actress did a later interview out of character and she was appearing from the same room, Paul Baverstock also did one and he had a different room very similar to the one shown here. And this looks like the old interference mechanic - I never got to try that because I got the game much later after it had been changed.
