Gel pens write wider than ballpoint. 0.5mm gel is probably more like 0.7mm ballpoint. That’s why the 0.28 jetstream ballpoint pen was advertised as the finest pen available cause its finer than the gel equivalent!
There seems to be a counterweight mechanism. When I wiggle it back and forth in my fingers like a batter wiggling his bat, then stop, the pen continues to wiggle for a second. I found it a little odd to write with. A very weighty pen. Very easy to draw straight lines with, but cursive did not seem to look right. Great ink though. Worth a buy if you want to try something new, or draw lots of atraight lines. Looks, feels like a nore expensive pen than it is
I think there is some brass in the grip section of the pen where your fingers go. It does give it a nice weight. I don't think they're making these in ballpoint any more, though. The site has only had .7mm gel versions for a long while now. :-/
Hi! Does zebra blen has the same body diameter then sarasa grand? I struggle to fit the blen on my midori pen loop, the sarasa grand looks thinner, but I´m just guessing.
I can't find my Blen, actually. I may have given it away. The Sarasa Grand is smooth metal instead of the Blen's matte plastic, so it might slide in more easily?
***This Video Is 3 Years Old*** The Current 2023 Zebra "blen" Gel Pen is 0.7 Now Which Is Really Nice To Write With.
