Thanks for making this video because finally i can drive faster than 27mph because most if not all of my friends how own a moped their bikes go well over 40 mph so i'm not the slowest guy in our group :)))
@@twowheeledenglish5881 I bought a Mash 50 last week and I tried to deresrict as I got CBT certificate, but not working on my bike! Please can you advise...
Nice one. Please make a video on adding a switch somewhere on handle bar that could on/off the restricted mode. Also would be a great idea to put links for the toolkits and parts just to do that. Referral links ;)
It’s been a while since this video was uploaded, I’m am curious to know if you have experienced any loss of power in the bike since the de-restricción. And if so how did you solve it?
Hey, I'm thinking of getting one of these and un restricting it. How safe is this? Would it damage the bike in the long run? Most importantly would I go up in flames xd? Seems like a dope bike otherwise - if its safe to unrestrict then it's 100% worth it for what I need it
It will go faster. You wont break your bike if you don't ride like an idiot and perform simple maintenance (adjust valves, change oil, airfilter & sparkplugs). If it's not fast enough get a bigger cilinder, and different sprockets. Cillinderkits are about the same price as a "Performance exhaust" which I wouldn't recommend since they're usually are a straightpipes with a fancy shape.
Great video, i have a viarelli scrambler with the exact same engine, just gonna break in the engine and then cut the cabel if its possible on my model, otherwis its gonna be a new cdi 👍
Ight mate so I have a hanway cafe racer 125 and I would love to de restrict it but it’s a little different to your cafe racer would you be able to help me ?
@@skeltr8131 are you Uk based? Usually can’t de restrict 125 because it’s only 50cc at 16 that has the 28mph limit so 125 don’t usually have restrictions on them
Hi. I just wanted to ask about the reliability of this bike in the period you have owned it and if there have been any major or minor issues. I’ve seen the bad rep Chinese bikes get but I haven’t heard much about Mash. Nice videos 👍 thanks
Vehicle Valhalla So apart from the fuel tank leak it’s been pretty reliable, I think it was due to leaving it out in the rain and I have seen similar bikes also with leaky tanks but for the price it’s a good little bike for a 50cc.
Hey, would like to put my experience out there, I would not buy a mash 50 again because it has been very unreliable, had the bike for 8 months (21 reg, brand new off Fac line) and it’s been off the road more than it’s been on it. Curious to see if anyone else has had a troublesome time with theirs or wether I got a ‘lemon’
hey plss🙏help me out i just bought mash fifty euro 5 and it got fuel injection and in cdi place there is ecu and i dont know witch cable to cut cuz it look way different than cdi.
I probably filled up about once a week and I would just have a look before every ride that you’ve got enough, the fuel tank is big for a 50cc so you’re not gonna run out that often
Yo, i have this bike and altough I haven't de-restricted it (yet), I think that you could fit a on/off switch on it. I just wouldn't know where you could hide it well tho...
What speed did you get? (And how big are you?) I wonder how many years will the motor work with this tunned cdi. Seems like a feature and not a "bug" on the design. Thanks!
some countries hand out driver licences under wich you can (also) drive a 2 wheeler that only is allowed to go 45 km/h ... this is in my opinion the only reason this bullshit exists , so you cannot really call it a feature .. its a law complience !
Michael Aris there isn’t one but the fuel tank has decent capacity so as long as you’re not trying to tour Europe on it you should get a few hundred miles on a tank.
i’m a 17 year old rider who isn’t in the financial situation to afford a 125 or car yet, so must stick with a 50 haha, anybody know how to de restrict a lexmoto nano 50cc? it’s has an ecu instead of a cdi, anyway i can do it without remapping? rollers and various different “restrictors” have been taken off, just need the ecu now as it still restricts the bike to 29.
If you have a crash your insurance inspects the bike and they would say you’re invalid if it’s been derestricted and the police run dynos on the side of the road
## you can fit someone on the back but it’s a bit of a squeeze, I would recommend getting a geared 50 if you want to move up to a 125 etc. Don’t base your decision on whether someone can fit on the back because you can’t take a passenger legally and I know someone who got fined for it but that’s just in the uk.
not your fault ... THEIR fault for using cheap ass steel !!! not everyone has some place to hide it from the weather , city dwellers let it sit outside by the street so it GOT to take staying outside !

Hello my friend, do you know how to derstrict mash fifty e5 2022. Thank you!
Hi, how did you know about the cable? Do you have any idea on 125cc and 250cc Mash bikes?
There was another UA-cam video that I saw about how to do it, might be worth having a search on UA-cam or look and see if the cdi is similar
Could ypu make small video about electrical wiring ? We bought same bike, but with swapt engine, now we are trying to put original back

Hey, I also have a Mash 50 and want to remove the speed limiter. But the inside looks different from yours, maybe you could tell me what to do?
Normally the black box should be the same just look around for that box. The layout of that box(wires n receptors) should be the same

Do you know what the valve clearance should be. ? Can not find it anywhere.

Can you do a similar thing with a wk scrambler 50 cc ?.
