Just confused on one thing only: Totally understand the effect of Capacitance on a guitar signal, but what’s the significance of measuring the *resistance* from the conductor-to-shield? And why are lower numbers ‘better’ here? I would think that the more resistance between the Tip & Sleeve, the better..?? Or so I *assume*! Hah! Just genuinely curious now after seeing it documented in your experiment! Thanks again for making this video! Cheers
The capacitance Meter is a BK Precision 830C. They are still available new. The DMM is an Agilent 34401A which is no longer available but you can pick them up on eBay sometimes.

The capacitance Meter is a BK Precision 830C. They are still available new. The DMM is an Agilent 34401A which is no longer available but you can pick them up on eBay sometimes.
