@@ZachV47 It's a step in the right direction, the problem is staying this way. So far, every single time he's gotten clean he falls right back on the wagon, again.. He needs to permanently stay clean, not just for himself but for his kid.

I went through a really bad period of mental health and didn't skate for 10 years! I got back on a board last year aged 44 and my mental health has never been better I'm so happy to see Bam doing the same!

I skated before I saw CKY, but those tapes DEFINITELY solidified my love for the culture. Along with the 411 series and Almost tapes, The End by Birdhouse.

Depression and addiction does tough things to people. Great to see him still fighting.

BAM needs to continue exchanging his addiction to substances back into being on camera and skating. I know we all want him to be in the best state he possibly can going forward and I truly hope that this time is the one that sticks.
The irony is that it was probably the pressure of pro skating and performing in front of the camera that led him to addiction in the first place. Fame is not all its hyped up to be. Many crash and burn unable to fulfill a mountain of expectation. It's not natural.

Bam is the guy that made me get into skateboarding back when i was a teenager so seeing him being himself and recovering well is heartwarming to see. I hope he stays the course.

Most people who have gone off the rails quite a few times end up having a permanent personality shift due to it. In fact, that personality shift helps them stay sober because they have the social ability they once had while high/drunk but without the actual substance. Check out some other AA people, they all seem this way. Here's to hoping, if he is so er, he stays that way. Everyone on the Jackass crew has tried helping him, but he's extremely hard-headed and stubborn.
This makes me happy. Seeing an "older" guy resume a passion and be embraced by the community is very cool. It's inspiring. Health & fitness is so important too. We should all enjoy our hobbies and passions for as long as we live.

This brings a smile to my face and a warning of my heart to see bam back skating at the berrics . Legend of skating and I know what he feels I'm skating in my 40's it's very hard on the body . Skating brought him to superstar levels and it can also heal him and he's taking all the right steps and the first step is the hardest just so happy to see him happy and healthy mental health is a big thing especially in men around this age we all need to listen and help those fighting mental health like myself

It is for monprofit reasons (mostly) for youth skaters. Whistlindiesel grinds up ferraris and people buy up jars... but he uses raffle lottery style tickets basically with dozens of the orders
