Mars always trying to kiss Biscuit lmaooo 💜 it's so weird seeing mars working from an outside perspective bc i'm so used to just looking down at him at my side
Ikr! Everytime I see a video of biscuit working I’m like ok from that angle he looks like he’s a pro lol
More service dog teams in Miami?? HMU! I live right across from Frost haha
I’m getting a service dog prospect (puppy) in march if everything goes well. Did the pups play together? Are they allowed to play together? I have gotten mixed messages on whether an off duty service dog can play with anyone but you.
Yes , they can play together. theyre still dogs and playing is an important part of the socialization and desenitization process
I let Biscuit play with my friends dogs off duty or before hanging out to try and get the excitement of seeing their friend out! Playing is a great way for them to get comfortable around the dogs they are working around, getting the excitement out and it’s based off personal preferences. I see no reason for them to not be allowed to play off duty just due to being a service dog but it is personal preference!
Of course! When they are off duty, they are regular dogs. Unless their owner has diabetes or seizures, they still need to alert to that. They can play with other dogs and people and do whatever off duty. When they need to alert, they will alert and stay with their owner until they are alright, then they will go back to playing and having fun!
