I bought the XZ3 at the start of this year in March and it's still as fast as the day I got it! The camera easily outperforms the iPhone camera. My iPhone using friends: "oh my gawdd what phone is that? The photos are so goooddd" Can't wait to see what Sony will have for me a few years down the road when I upgrade!

I did the same... The XZ Premium screen looks so big and not as refined now that I have my Xperia 1! (xzp was/is a great phone, the Xperia 1 is better and not that much bigger (narrower which I like).
Xperia 1's lower resolution is better than the XZ3 Premium? My Xperia 1 is arriving later today and the resolution is what I thought may be inferior to XZ3 Premium, besides the aspect ratio that I'm not sure I can get used to.
Advanced tip on side sense.: I never used side sense before my Xperia 1 and it is pretty good. You can: - double tap to open the most used app list - slide your finger up on the edge: open the split screen menu... Cool thing is that you can predifine 'pair' you often use in the side sense settings (they will appear at the bottom of the split screen menu.) - slide your finger down the side: back button without having to reach the bottom bar anywhere in an app. The slide need a bit of practice with the tutorial and tweaking (short travel etc) but once you got it and the phone learned it... It is super useful (especially the back slide down one) after only 4 days, I am sold…!
My favourite Xperia feature on the newer phones is Xperia assist. Using it regularly and being correctly set up, it eases my commute and offwork phone usage time a lot. Does the Xperia 1 come with new features added to it?
Sony really concern for details, they always have own personality, excellent sounds quality, 4k HDR screen, wherever you like gaming or movie, Sony really done a great job.

Beautiful phone. I have loved Sony since my first Walkman in the early 90s and my first Trinitron TV ( which I still have and watch.) This might be my upgrade from my s8 plus. No notch and no hole for me. Good job Sony.

Just upgraded to this through the network, free playstation 4 and Spiderman 60gb data Yadda Yadda yadda. These videos on this channel made me bite the bullet and upgrade, was going to wait for Pixel 4 but there is just something about this phone. I also have never owned a Sony. Don't know when it's going to be delivered yet though. Just hope Android updates aren't delayed too much.

I'm actually getting the Xperia 1 to use as a games console and media centre, to complement my Switch and Vita, and replace my 9inch tablet. The camera functionality is a bonus, the phone functionality secondary. I'd be surprised if Sony doesn't morph the Xperia 1 into an out and out handheld games console with the introduction of the 865...

Got the Xperia 1 since 30th of May, I'm loving it. There are two things that bug me though, split screen won't allow for two Google Chrome browsers, which means I can't look at two websites at once. The other thing is rather weird and poor video quality while video chatting on WhatsApp and Skype, Google Duo however looks fine.
Here in Brazil I have seen one XZ2 till this day, from my father in law and I have to say I fell for it. Simply amazing. For me in Brazil any model it's too damn expansive, hope that Xperia 4 come true... Loved the Xperia 1.
