Steel receiver > Aluminum receiver - shotguns with steel receivers are significantly better in my opinion. I have shot and own a lot of shotguns but my favorites are Remington 870 wingmasters for that very reason.
A beautiful and useful shotgun, for sure, but it’s a shame with all the production problems that Browning says it will now be well into 2025 before any of these are available for sale - and maybe not even then according to a source I spoke with. Here I stand ready to purchase. Such a bizarre business model from Browning.
That is one fine shotgun. I learned to shoot a St. Louis made steel receiver A-5 20 gauge when I was a young one.
They are actually two completely different firearms. The old was a long recoil, and the new version is just a Benelli clone.
