      There is a Tamil text written by saint Siddha Thirumoolar of 6-7 th Century called Thirumandhiram in which the author Thirumoolar has said that both Aryam(Sanskrit ) and Tamil was taught to Parvathi by lord Siva himself.......following is the verse
      Revealed Alike In Sanskrit and Tamil:
      Devoid alike of rain and summer's gift of dew
      Even the flashing lake had lost it's vernal bloom
      Then did He in Sanskrit and Tamil at once,
      Reveal the rich treasure of His Compassion to our Lady Great- Thirumandhiram of Saint Thirumoolar
      olden Tamil was not like present day Tamil of 31 Alphabets.olden Tamil had 15 vowels + 15 consonants +1 Om=51 Alphabets like Sanskrit and pther Indian Languages.saint Thirumoolar in one verse he refers to those alphabets as primitive alphabets.
      In Tamil Grammar text Tholkapiyam of 2800 years old the author Tholkapiyar says in the last two verses of the Chapter generation of Alphabets that he has given Grammar rules for the words of Alphabets which explicitly give the meaning and have not given grammar rules of Alphabets which are found in the manthras of vedas................
      Garland of Fifty-One Letters:
      With Letter "Aum" are vowels fifteen formed;
      To Bindu's luminous letter "A"
      Add Nada letter "U"
      With rest of letters thirteen,
      They fifteen vowels are;
      Together with consonants,
      The Primal letters are
      As Fifty and one reckoned. -Thirumandjiram of Thirumoolar
      further Thirumoolar stated that all the Vedas and Aagamas were born from those primitive alphabets in South India because of this reason South India is Pure in this world...........
      Fifty Letters Come to Five Letters
      Letters Fifty are Vedas all,
      Letters Fifty are Agamas all,
      When source of Letters Fifty are known,
      Fifty Letters to Five Letters comes.
      South the Holy Land:
      At the Land's End is KanyaKumari;
      And then the Kaveri
      And other holy waters
      The nine "theerthas" comprise;
      And the seven sacred hills too;
      In that land are born the Veda-Agamas;
      Thus blessed,
      The South is the Holy Land indeed.
      Saint Thirumoolar has said that the Scholar is one who know all 18 Languages of India and all those 18 languages are based on the Moral rule which was instructed by Primordial God. By saying this Saint Thirumoolar before 1300 years itself said the National Integration.
      In eighteen various tongues they speak
      The thoughts which Pandits alone know;
      The Pandits' tongues numbering ten and eight
      Are but what the Primal Lord declared.-Thirumoolar in Tihrumandhiram
      Thirumoolar in Tihrumandhiram repeatedly says about this 51 alphabets in many verses.
      Not only in Thirumandhiram but also there are references from Tamil Siddhas text Azhugani Sitthar,Agapayi Sitthar,Kongana Sitthar and Tamil Text of Thirupugazh by Arunagiri Naadhar that Tamil had 51 Alphabets
      .That is why apart from Tamil all Indian languages including Sanskrit have 48- 52 Alphabets.
      If we closely observe the Sanskrit Language we can easily find that the root of the Sanskrit is deeply rooted in South Indian Languages specifically Tamil and Malayalam,kannada,Telugu one who has Good Knowledge in Tamil can easily figure out Sanskrit is the deviated and disintegrated version of ancient south Indian languages particularly Tamil and Malayalam. Famous Tamil poet and freedom fighter Maha kavi Bharathiyar who knew more than 15 Indian languages also has said at the preface of his Bhagavath Geetha Commentary that the Linguistic Style of Vedas are appears to be Pre-Sangam Tamil of Madurai and the Linguistic Style of Upanishads appears to be Post-Sangam Tamil of Madurai.This false Aryan-Dravidian Racial theory was framed by Foreigners to divide India.

      @@vasukinagabhushan I like to tell even stories books r not considered as history only facts and research findings. First the script was not able to be read. then later British researchers used bilingual Greek-Brahmi coins to know the sound of each letters. then they named it as brahmi by referring Samavayanga Sutra(18 lipi) and Lalitavistara Sūtra(lipi). In this books it is mentioned as "bammi lipi" in first. so assuming this must be the name. Britishers gave name for this script as brahmi. Also know that this books had tamizhi in Samavayanga Sutra's lipi list and damili in Lalitavistara Sūtra's 64 lipi list. So it is clear that it could also be tamizhi as thy the name in assumption. Tamizhi script is also dating beyond 3rd century BC century and goes upto 6th century BC(as of now). Moreover many script across world has started from fewer letters and then the letters are added. Tamizhi is also in same pattern it has fewer letters and so called brahmi has much added letters with tamizhi letters. As i am a researcher I expect the reply like this by giving true facts and scientific results rather than stories.
